The purpose of this study was to explore the current status of education for nursing management in Korea. Methods: A descriptive study was done using a questionnaire developed by the investigators. The data were collected by survey from 96 out of 129 nursing schools, between December 2010 and February 2011. Results: For 22.9% of nursing schools, there was no faculty for nursing management. The credits and subjects included in nursing management varied among the nursing schools. Lectures in subjects related to nursing management were given not only by nursing management faculty but also by faculty with other majors. There were more faculty and credits for nursing management courses in 4-year nursing schools than in 3-year schools. Conclusion: To improve the quality of education in nursing management, there is a need to standardized courses and provide nursing faculty who have majored in nursing management.
Optoelectronic oscillator stabilized to an intra-loop Fabry-Perot cavity by a dual servo system

<P>We report construction and characterization of an optoelectronic oscillator (OEO), which is stabilized to an intra-loop Fabry-Perot cavity by a dual servo system. In addition to providing strong mode selection and increasing the Q factor by adding significant loop length, the cavity serves as a stable frequency reference. In order to fully exploit the stability we employ a dual servo system. Carrier frequency is locked to the cavity mode by using Pound-Drever-Hall technique. The OEO loop length is adjusted by comparing the phase difference between the carrier-sideband beat signals at upstream and downstream sides of the cavity so that the OEO mode spacing is commensurate with the free spectral range of the cavity. This dual servo system and additional stabilizations of the seed laser frequency to a cesium transition and the laser power result in an order of magnitude improvement in OEO frequency stability over a previous work using a free-running Fabry-Perot cavity. Long term Allan deviation of the OEO is 6 x 10(-8). It represents 4 x 10(-4)of the cavity resonance linewidth. We also discuss possibility of relating the OEO frequency to an atomic transition as an absolute frequency reference.</P>

N/A The derivative of chrysin 7-O-cyclopropanecarboxylate was synthesized by condensing cyclopropanecarboxylic acid with chrysin in organic solvent, and its structure was identified by NMR, MS, UV, IR etc. We also investigated the physico-chemical properties, anti-diabetic effect and set up the quantitative analytical method of this compound. The correlation coefficient of calibration curve on this compound was approximately 0.9985 by absorption spectrophotometry. And, this study was carried out to investigate the hair-growth effect of chrysin derivative to the black mouse (C57BL/6). When this derivative in ethanol solution was administered to the back of mouse by method of skin paste, this derivative promoted the hair growth of mouse.
