      • 충북대학교병원에서 임상시험 및 임상연구 기반구축 방안

        연구목적: 충북대학교병원에서 임상시험 및 연구를 지원하는 기반구조(이하, 임상시험기반)에 대한 수 요가 증가하고 있다. 이러한 요구가 발생하는 주요인은 연구비지원의 경향이 최근에 변하고 있는 것과 오송 첨단의료복합단지의 완공을 들 수 있으며, 여기에 대응하기 위하여 충북대학교병원의 연구역량 강 화가 절실히 필요하며, 임상시험기반을 구축하기 위한 전략을 준비하는 것이 매우 중요하다. 대상 및 방법: 충북대학교병원에서 수행중인 임상시험 및 연구과제의 연구비 현황을 연구유형에 따라 분석하였다. 임상시험 및 연구를 지원하는 조직 및 서비스는 다음 자료를 검토하여 조사하였다: (1) 미국의 NIH 연구비 수혜액수 최고 순위 다섯 연구기관의 홈페이지, (2) 한국의 지역임상시험센터 홈 페이지, (3) 세 미국 연구기관의 전략계획서. 이렇게 하여 추출된 임상시험기반 항목을 다섯 가지 영 역(연구 인력, 지원 서비스, 공용 시설 및 장비, 정보기술, 기타 자원)으로 분류하였다. 그리고 이들 항목의 우선순위를 충북대학교병원 임상교수를 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 평가하였다. 결과: 임상시험기반의 각 영역에서 상위 우선순위로 나타난 항목은, (1) 연구인력 영역에서 연구 간호 사, 연구 교수, 생통계학자; (2) 지원서비스 영역에서 연구계획서의 과학적 검토, 연구설계를 위한 통 계지원, 피험자 모집 및 추적관리; (3) 공용시설 및 장비 영역에서 인체조직은행, 인체유래시료 은행, 영상의학 지원; (4) 정보기술 영역에서 연구자용 임상연구 관리시스템과 데이터베이스 관리시스템; (5) 기타 자원 영역에서 기관윤리심의 위원회 심사신청 및 서류작성 지원, 연구계획서 작성지원, 연구 를 위한 부서간 업무인증 및 조정, 임상연구관련 서식이었다. 결론: 충북대학교병원 교수들의 수요와 오송 첨단의료복합단지와의 협력을 고려하여, 임상시험기반 확 보를 위한 장단기 전략이 제시되었다.

        國內 業體와 在美 韓人業體 間 貿易의 空間的 連繫 特性

        The need to study the spatial linkage of trade in the international scale has been emerged as the globalization of economic activities has been proceeded as well as the degree of interdependence has been increased. In a geographical viewpoint, the trade linkage between two nations can be reduced into three components as of nodes, flows and trade environment from systems thinking, which can develop the concept of integrated urban systems at the international level. This study focuses on the spatial linkage of trade activities between Korea and U.S., just concerning Korean businesses both in U.S. and in Korea within the wholesale trade sector. The study hypothesis contains that the Korean businesses in U.S. play important roles in promoting export of Korean-made products and increasing market penetration. The results show a polarized spatial structure in U.S. centered at New York and Los Angeles. Philadelphia as an important harbor city for Korea-linked trade activities, is appeared as a nodal center for the east coast area of U.S. in wholesale and trade activities, while Los Angeles takes an important position for trade activities covering the west coast region in U.S., Meanwhile, the counter-businesses in the Korean side have mostly located within the Seoul Metropolitan Region, where can provide high transportation accessibility and agglomeration economies. The spatial structure of trade linkages between two countries shows the importance of large metropolitan cities in trade activities, reflecting strong role of urban hierarchy for product distribution down to small centers. It suggests that spatial linkage of trade activities can be understook within the framewdrk of urban systems development at the international scale, stressing the major role of large metropolitan areas.

        Acoustic streaming produced by an extracorporeal shock wave lithotripter was visualized for the first time in the present study. It was observed that the streaming velocity increased with the shock wave amplitude and was reaching up to 3 cm/s at the highest output setting of the lithotripter.

      • 웨이브렛 변환을 이용한 초음파의 조직 특성화 연구

        본 논문에서는 조직의 특성화 변수로 산란체의 간격에 대해 고려하였다. 조직 내에서 산란된 초음파 신호를 분석하여 특정 위치에서의 산란체의 간격을 추정하였다. Born approximation 이용하여 얻어진 초음파 반사 신호를 이용하여 모의 실험을 하였다. 산란체의 위치는 초음파 신호를 웨이브렛 변환 후 여러 단계에서 반복적으로 출현하는 높은 계수 값의 위치로부터 예측하였다. 시뮬레이션 결과 본 연구에서 개발된 알고리즘은 산란체의 간격이 초음파의 파장보다 큰 경우 정확하게 산란체의 간격을 추정하고 있음을 확인하였다. 산란체 간격 추정 알고리듬을 이용하여 조직내 산란 간격을 영상 변수로 한 초음파 영상을 구성하고 임상적 유용성을 고찰하였다.

      • 감마線分光分析 및 熱螢光檢出法에 의한 自然放射線의 線量測定硏究

        감마선분광분석 및 열형광선량측정법에 의한 자연환경방사선의 선량해석에 관한 연구를 1984년 10월부터 약 1년간에 걸쳐 충남대학교 대덕캠퍼스내의 1만㎡ 규모의 평면개활지에서 수행하였다. 이 연구에서 사용한 검출기는 3″ø×3″NaI(TI) 閃光計數器와 plastic에 밀봉하여 금속판에 압착 처리한 chip과 Teflon-disk 로된 2종의 LiF TLD였다. 실측실험으로는 3회에 걸친 24시간 cycle의 in-situ spectrometry와 2회의 3개월 cycle과 1회의 1개월 cycle에 걸친 TLD field dosimetry를 수행하였다. 측정한 모든 spectrum은 G(E)연산자법에 의하여 照射線量率로 환산하였고 그 결과로부터 환경방사선의 地殼成分을 산출하였다. 結果에 의하면 spectrometry로 구한 조사선량율이 평균(10.54±2.96)μR/hr, TLD chip으로 측정해석한 값은 (12.0±3.4)μR/hr, disk에서 얻은 값이 (11.0±3.6)μR/hr로 오차범위 안에서 매우 좋은 일치를 보이고 있다. 그러나 감마선분광분석에 의한 자연방사선의 日變化에는 가끔 심한동요가 관측되었다. 정확한 환경방사선량해석을 위하여 감마선분광분석과 TLD의 적절한 동시 배합사용이 바람직 하며, 보다 고감도의 TLD에 관한 연구와 국제비교등을 통한 선량평가의 精度向上을 위한 보다 깊이있는 연구가 필요하다는 結論에 도달하였다. A study for the assessment of natural environmental radiation exposure at a flat and open field of about 10,000㎡ in area in CNU Daeduk campus has been carried out by means of gamma-ray scintillation spectrometry and thermoluminescence dosimetry for one year period of time from October 1984. The detectors used were 3″ø×3″NaI(TI) and two different types of LiF TLD, namely, chip sealed in plastic sheet which tightly pressed on two open holes of a metal plate and Teflon disk. Three 24-hour cycles of in-situ spectrometry, and two 3-month and one 1-month cycles of field TL dosimetry were performed. All the spectra measured were converted into exposure rate by means of G(E) opertaion, and therefrom exposure rate due to terrestrial component of environmental radiation was figured out. Exposure rate determined by the spectrometry was, on average, (10.54±2.96)μR/hr, and the rates of (12.0±3.4)μR/hr and (11.0±3.6)μR/hr were obtained from chip and disk TLD, respectively. Fluctuations in diurnal variation of the exposure rate measured by the spectrometry were noticeable sometime even in a single cycle of 24 hours. It is concluded that appropriately combined use of TLD with iu-sitn gamma-ray spectrometry system can give more accurate and precise measure of environmental radiation exposure, and further study for more adequate and sensitive TLD for environmental dosimetry, including improvement and elevation of accuracy in data assessment through inter-laboratory or international intercomparison is necessary.

      • TEOS와 Condensed Ethyl Silicate(CES)로부터 제조된 고순도 SiO₂분말의 특성

        SiO₂powders were manufactured from TEOS, CES(condensed ethyl silicates) and PHT(partially hydrated TEOS) by sol-gel method. Then the chemical and the physical properties of the SiO₂powders are measured by IR, GC, TGA-DTA, XRD, SEM and particle size analyser. The chemical properties in IR spectra and GC analysis of CES are similar to those of PHT. Also the physical properties of SiO₂powders made from PHT are very analogous with the one manufactured from CES. The results suggest that the PHT in manufacturing of mullite and cordierite ceramics can be replaced with the CES.

      • Streptomyces coelicolor A3(2)의 actinorhodin생성에 미치는 아미노산의 영향

        We investigated the fatty acid compositions before and after the actinorhodin producrion in Streptomyces coelicolor A3(2). The relatice proportion of 15 and 17 carbon branched-chain fatty acids decreased signifi-cantly during the actinorhodin production. Fatty acid compositions in the mycelia grown in the presence of L-arginine as a sole nitrogen source, which supported actinorhodin production, showed higher relative pro-portion of the i15:0, i17:0 and ai17:0 branched-chain fatty acids. Therefore, it was concluded that common precursors derived from the amino acid were used for actinorhodin and fatty acid biosynthesis.

      • 축구 로봇의 전략 알고리즘 개선

        This paper presents an strategy algorithm of a soccer robot. We simply classified strategy of soccer robot as attack and defense. We use DC-motor in our Soccer Robot. We use the vision system made by MIRO team of Kaist and Soty team for image processing. Host computer is made by Pentium III. The RF module is used for the communication between each robot and the host computer. Fuzzy logic is applied to the path planning of our robot. We improve strategy algorithm of soccer robot. Here we explain improvement of strategy algorithm and fault of the our soccer robot system.

      • Staphylococcus aureus와 Coagulase-Negative Staphylococcus Species에 대한 Arbekacin의 시험관내 항균력

        Background : Most strains of methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) now exhibit high-level resistance to various antibiotics, such as β -lactam antibiotics, aminoglycosides, macrolides, tetracyclines and quinolones. Recent reports describing the therapeutic failure of vancomycin for MRSA infections have arisen considerable concerns regarding the emergence of MRSA strains, which will require new therapeutic agents. Arbekacin, an aminoglycoside antibiotic, has antibacterial activity against both gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria and is stable in the presence of aminoglycoside inactivating enzymes produced by S. aureus. In this study, we compared the antibacterial activity of arbekacin with those of vancomycin, gentamicin, and amikacin against Staphylococcus aureus (S. aureus) and coagulase-negative staphylococci (CNS). Methods : For a collection of 549 S. aureus and 251 CNS isolates from three Catholic University Hospitals in Korea, minimum inhibitory concentrations (MICs) of arbekacin, vancomycin, amikacin and gentamicin were determined by agar dilution method using Mueller-Hinton agar according to NCCLS (National Committee for Clinical Laboratory Standards, USA)criteria. Results : Among 549 S. aureus isolates, 278 isolates were MRSA and 271 isolates were methicil sensitive S. aureus (MSSA). MIC50 & MIC90 of arbekacin against 549 S. aureus were 0.5 & 1 ㎍/mL, and MIC50 & MIC90 of vancomycin were 1 & 1 ㎍/mL. MIC of arbekacin against 549 S. aureus isolates ranges from 0.03 to 4 ㎍/mL, and MIC of vancomycin against 549 S. aureus ranges from 0.25 to 2 ㎍/mL. MIC90 of amikacin against 549 S. aureus was 32㎍/mL, and that of gentamicin was 128 ㎍/mL. MICs of amikacin and gentamicin were variable, ranging from 0.125 to 256, and otherwise arbekacin and vancomycin revealed relatively narrow range of MICs. MIC90 of arbekacin against 278 MRSA isolates & 271 MSSA were 1 & 0.5 ㎍/mL, and those of vancomycin against MRSA & MSSA were 1 & 1 ㎍/mL. MIC90 of amikacin against 278 MRSA & 271 MSSA isolates were 32 & 4 ㎍/mL, and that of gentamicin against MRSA & MSSA isolates were 128 & 32 ㎍/mL respectively. Among 251 CNS isolates, 122 isolates were MRCNS and 129 were MSCNS. MICSO & MIC90 of arbekacin against 251 CNS isolates were 0.25 & 2 ㎍/mL, and those of vancomycin were 1 & 2 ㎍/mL. MIC of arbekacin against 251 CNS isolates ranges from 0.015 to 32 ㎍/mL, and that of vancomycin isolates ranges from 0.25 to 2 ㎍/mL, MIC90 of arbekacin against 122 MRCNS & 129 MSCNS isolates were 2&0.3 ㎍/ML, and those of vancomycin were 2&s ㎍/ML. MIC90 of amikacin against 251 CNS isolates was 32 ㎍/ML, and that of gentamicin was 128 ㎍/ML for CNS. MIC90 of amikacin against 122 MRCNS & 129 MSCNS isolates were 128 & 8㎍/mL, and those of gentamicin ere 256 & 32 ㎍/mL. Conclusion : Considering above results, arbekacin can be useful agent against most strains of MRSA and MRCMS, which exhibit high-level resistance to amikacin and gentamicin.         식품 위해 요소중점 관리 기준에 대한 서울지역 사업체 급식관리자의 위생관리평가

        Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point(HACCP) is becoming an important component of food safety worldwide. The aim of this study was to investigate comprehensively the education and knowledge level of food service managers on HACCP as well as applying HACCP system to industrial foodservice. Total 247 foodservice managers participated in the survey and 159 responses were used for analysis. The results were as follows; 1) 89% of foodservice managers were educated about HACCP, and 40.9% felt they did fully understand HACCP and 47.8% did half. 2) The score for the implementation of HACCP was in the order of apparatus and facility sanitation, personal sanitation, and time-temperature/etc. sanitation. 3) Foodservice managers who were taught HACCP kept a deep attention to food and personal sanitation, compared with those without education(p<0.05). However, the education time on HACCP affected conducting safety management. The results suggest that education and understanding of HACCP are positively related, and understanding of HACCP has a positive influence on conducting safety management.
