      • 마우스의 면역반응에 미치는 백모등엑스의 효과

        Solanum lyratum(SL)has been used as a herbal drugs for an anticancer, antiinflammatory, antitoxic agents, ect. The present study was to carried out to investigate the several immune-modulatory effects of Solanum lyratum extract on histamine biosynthesis, lymphocyte blastogenesis, and hemolytic plaque forming cell assay against to in C57BL/6 mice. Histamine content lymphocyte blastogenesis and hemolytic plaque forming cell were deter mined by enzyme-isotope method, (^3H)Thymidine incorporation and cunningham method, respectively. Cytotoxicity, which was showed as 50% mortality was occurred by the treatment of SL(10^-3g/ml, 48hr incubation). Histamine production was significantly increased by the addition of 1.0㎍/ml of Con A after 48hr incubatin. SL suppressed histamine production at all concentration of SL(10^-9∼10^-3g/ml). Con A(0.1㎍/ml)dependent T-lymphocyte proliferation was significantly increased by the addition of 10^-7g/ml of SL. And antibody formation markedly increased at 5×10^-4g/㎏. This results suggested that SL have an enhancement action of the immune response, SL in creased cell mediated immune response and also enhanced antibody production(IgG, IgM).

        도시 초 ·중 ·고교 학생 시력저하 및 굴절이상에 관한 보건조사

        The analysis of the visual impairment and refractive errors among 4,004 school children in Seoul in 1986 with ancilliary questionnaire on various socio-environmental and visual factors was conducted. The number of the student with subnormal vision(0.7 or less) was 1,552(38.8%), and the rate of subnormal vision was increased with the higher grading of the school classes. Rate of myopes among the 1,552 students vision 0.7 or less consists of 52% in primary school, 83.5% in middle school, and 94% in high school, and they were increased with the higher grading of the school class. The acutest increase of rates were observed at the stages of 2nd year class of male, and 1st year class of female at the middle school,. Among the glasses-wearer of myopic students of vision 0.5 or less, the rate of adequately corrected cases was 42.5%, whereas the overcorrected in 6.8%, and undercorrected in 49.3%. The main reasons of glasses negligence among the non-possessor of glasses with the vision of 0.5 or less were indicated in prominence of numbers of "no complaints without glasses" (42%), "unawareness of visual disturbance" (20%), "annoyance with wearing glasses"(13.4%), and "no permission from parents" (11.5%) rather than the "economical reasons". The amblyopic components were estimated 126 cases(3.2%) in combination of refractive errors. According to the analysis of ancilliary questionnaire, the-conclusion with the statistical significance was that the myopization of the children's eyes appeared susceptible with a number of socio-environmental factors including the eating habits, length of T.V,watching period and distance, reading distance and type of illumination during near work, and school achievement. The possibility of prevention in some extents of progress of the myopia following the improvement of the relevant environmental factors in younger stage of children would be considired as deducible one.

        Mobile nodes in ad hoc mobile networks typically communicate over wireless channels and are capable of movement. These are networks that support multihop communication and can be formed on a temporary basis. This paper proposes a solution that allows mobile nodes to access the wired Internet and to roam from base station to base station. And we also develop the efficient method that adapts in Global MANET which can be changed over time. It is observed that we can reduce not only error detection time but also network load, thus increasing the data reception rate in Global MANET Environment.

        Recently, the Korean Neuropsychiatric Association (KCNP) has been expanded greatly in the number of members as well as the qualities in the area of practice and research. There are also 23 affiliated academic societies : Korean Academy of Psychotherapists, Korean Society for Analytical Psychology, the Korean Psychoanalytic Society, the Korean Association for Clinical Art, Korean Academy of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry, the Korean Association of Social Psychiatry, The Korean Society of Biological Therapies in Psychiatry, Korean College of Neuropsychopharmacology, the Korean Society of Biological Psychiatry, Society of Korean Women Psychiatrists, the Korean Society of Clinical Hypnosis, the Society for Human Sexuality, Korean Society of Sleep Research, the Korean Society for Psychopathology and Psychiatric Classification, Korean Academy of Psychiatry and the Law, Korean Psychosomatic Society, Korean Academy of Sleep Medicine, Korean Association for Geriatic Psychiatry, Korean Academy of Psychiatrists in Alcoholism & Addiction, Korean Academy of Adolescent Psychiatry, Korean Academy Schizophrenia, Korean Society for Depressive and Bipolar Disorders, and Korean Academy of Anxiety Disorders. To further encourage the progress of the KCNP affiliated academic societies, the KCNP planning committee has developed the proposed criteria for assessing the societies.

      • 전기응집장치에 의한 오수의 중수처리

        Contamination of both surface and ground waters, and water shortages have forced us to search for innovative sources of water supply. The use of dual water system is expected to increase and to become of even greater importance in the future. In this study, electrocoagulation process was applied in treating municipal wastewater for nonpotable reuse. It is clear that the once-used water collected from communities and municipalities must be viewed not as a waste to be disposed of but as a resource. The parameters tested operating both batch and continuous electrocoagulation were electrolytic plate, plate distance, voltage and current density with removal efficiencies of BOD, COD, SS, T-N, T-P, turbidity and color. Good water quality of treated effluent was obtained as BOD〈10.0mg/L, COD〈20.0mg/L, SS〈20.0mg/L and P〈5mg/l, with both A1 and SUS plate. Corrosive reaction was found in electrocoagulation reactor with plate. Only 15 - 35% of nitrogen in rawmunicipal wastewater was removal by both A1 and SUS plate. The optimum condition of electrocoagulation treatment for nonpotable reuse was found to be 10mm of plate distance, 10 V, and 1.10 A/dm² of current density with SUS plate.

      • 전기응집에 의한 도금폐수 처리의 최적화

        The zinc containing wastewater from the metal finishing industry was treated by electro-coagulation system. The zine was effectively removed with removal efficiency ranging from 95 to 99%. The operation of the system was conducted to find out the optimum conditions to reduce bleaching out effect from plate, changing important parameters such as reactor plate select, flow rate, pass, amperage and settling time, along with a consideration of O&M costs for the electro-coagulation system. The most effective and economical conditions was concluded to be a combination of Fe plate 1.0 L/min of flow rate, 5 pass, 15 amperage and 30 min settling. The copper plating wastewater was also effectively treated with 94% removal effectively under this optimum condition.

      • 括數根 水溶性 蛋白質의 細胞毒性

        The purpose of this research was to investigate effect of water-soluble protein of Trichosanthes kirillowii(TKP) on the proliferation of human tumor cells. TKP inhibited the proliferation of HeLa cells and KHOS-NP cells. The inhibitory activity of doxorubicin on HeLa cells and its of mitomycin C on KHOS-NP cells were increased by the combination of TKP. TKP did not affect on the proliferation of Balb/c 3T3 cells, but inhibited the proliferation of mouse spleen cells and human lymphocyte at 1 ㎍/ml. These results suggest that TKP bas the cytotoxicity on HeLa and KHOS-NP cells, and increase the cytotoxicity of doxorubicin or mitomycin C.
