        급성 심근경색증 초기 진단에 latex 응집을 이용한 혈청 myoglobin 측정의 임상적 의의

        We evaluated the diagnostic usefulness of latexagglutination test for elevated serum myoglobin as a screening test in the early phase of acute myocardial infarction and 21 patients with chest pain mimicking acute myocardial infarction were included in this study. Result was compared with serum myoglobin level measured by radioimmunoassay (RIA) in every case. The Following results were obtained: 1) When serum myoglobin levels measured by RIA below 85ng/㎖ were regarded as normal, this test showed sensitivity of 82%, specificity of 95%. 2) In latex-agglutionation test for elevated serum myoglobin, test results were interpreted as negative, weakly positive and positive. If we regard weakly positive tests as positive, sensitivity was 93% and specificity was 62%. In contrast, if we regard weakly positive tests as negative specificity rose to 100% while sensitivity reduced to 75%. 3) Agreement rate of both test was k=0.59. It is suggested that latex-agglutination test for elevated serum myoglobin is helpful in ruling out acute myocardial infarction when test result is negative, and that it can be used as a screening test in the early phase of acute myocardial infarction because of its rapidity and simplicity in performing the procedure.

        3 성분계 유기용제의 인화특성에 관한 연구

        This study was accomplished by measuring the lower and upper flash point with air blowing method and grasping the characteristics of flammability for the three component systems, which are made up of the Benzene-Toluene-o-Xylene and Methylethylketone-Toluene-o-Xylene. These three component systems are widely used in the various industrial fields together with the development of industry. The results are as follows ; 1) Isothermal line is plotted on the triangular diagram for flash points determined in each solutions. From this line, the mixed compositions which indicated the same lower and upper flash points in each different composition could be read on this diagram, if the composition of mixtures are known. 2) Lower and upper explosion limits obtained from the flash points determined for the three component solution are compared with the value calculated from Le Chatelier's law. Especially the lower explosion limits are in a good agreement with the calculated values.

        Myasthenia Gravis is a chronic disease of disputed etiology, possibly an auto-immune reaction to the moter end-plate, characterized by exacerbations and remissions, a rare disease entity in Korea. Myasthenia Gravis has offered many anesthetic problems because it affects respiratory muscles occasionally and bronchial secretion from preoperative anticholinesterase therapy. The chief concern is to ensure adequate respiration both during and after operation. During the year 1976-1982, we have experienced the anesthetic management of 8 patients with myasthenia gravis and thymectomy. From our experiences, we conclude that respiratory care and disuse of relaxants is the key to successful management.

        휘발성 유기 화합물 가스 측정을 위한 전도성 고분자 센서의 제조 및 감응 특성

        Conducting polymer sensors show high sensitivity when exposed to volatile organic compounds gases at room temperature. The 8 sensor array using by polypyrrole and polyaniline has been fabricated by chemical polymerization for measuring sensing characteristics of VOCs gases. Conducting polymer was polymerized by using distilled pyrrole, aniline as a monomer and ammonium persulfate (APS) as an oxidant and dodecylbenzene sulfonic acid (DBSA) as a dopant. Dedoped film was synthesized by reverse voltage and redoped film was synthesized by using 1-octanesulfonic acid sodium salt as another dopant in electrochemical cell. The sensitivity and reversibility were influenced by doping, dedoping, redoping and thiclrness for the polypyrrole and polyaniline. We investigated the relation between the structure of conducting polymer and sensitivity of these sensors through the analysis of scanning electron microscope (SEM), scanning probe microscope (SPM) and α-step.

        B 형 간염 Virus-Associated Hemophagocytic Syndrome 1 예

        Virus-associated hemophagocytic syndrome (VAHS) is a nonneoplastic generalized histiocytic proliferation with marked hemophagocytosis associated with systemic viral infections such as Epstein-Barr virus, cytomegalovirus, adenovirus, herpes virus. etc. High fever, liver dysfunction, coagulation abnormality, and peripheral blood cytopenias are characteristic findings. Hepatosplenomegaly, lymphadenopathy, bilateral pulmonary infiltrations, and skin rash are often present. We report a case of Hepatitis B virus-associated hemophagocytic syndrome with a brief review of literature.

        모델기반의 전기자동차용 전지 잔존용량계 개발

        In this paper, a development of model based battery SOC indicator is described. The proposed method is independent upon initial SOC, is reliable on the sudden change of load, and could estimate the available driving distance. The mathematical model of battery which has relation of the current, voltage and SOC estimates the SOC by least square estimation to minimize the error between measured voltage and estimated voltage. For experiment, the charging and discharging system using computer was designed to acquire the current and voltage data for model. The feasibility in electric vehicle was confirmed by variable load testing using the developed SOC indicator by stand-alone type microcontroller.

        몽골의 식물 유전자원 연구현황

        몽골에서는 1920년대부터 러시아와 공동으로 식물 유전자원을 탐색, 수집하였으며 이들을 재료로 1950년대부터는 품종을 육성하였다. 다칸의 식물학 및 농업연구소는 1979년에 설립되어 10년 장기계획을 토대로 식물유전자원 연구를 실시하였는바, 다양한 농업생태 지역을 바탕으로 육종모본이 될 작물들을 수집하였다. 현재 다칸의 식물 및 농업연구소에는 밀 8,448점, 보리 4,423점, 귀리 1,672점 등 총 21,132점이 상온에 보존되어 있고 그중에 1,200점은 연구소 자체, 국제기관 또는 국제협력에 의해 수집된 재래종이다. 1991년에는 5개년 계획으로 식물유전자원의 수집, 도입, 안전보존, 평가, 교환, 정보화 및 이용 등에 대하여 진행되고 있다. 이들 자원에 대한 연구는 다칸의 식물학 및 농업연구소를 중심으로 Choibalsan의 동부지역 농업연구소, Hovd의 알타이지역 농업연구소, Ulaangom의 서부지역 농업시험장, 울란바타르의 가축사양연구소 등과 협력적으로 운영되고 있다. 유전자원에 대한 국가적인 전략은 작물의 생산성 향상, 환경내성 품종 육성을 위한 야생근연종 등 다양한 자원의 확보와 현지내의 보존 및 장,단기보존 방법의 개발, 전문가양성 및 외국과의 공동연구를 통한 종자 및 정보의 교환에 역점을 두고 있다. In Mongolia, collection and exploration of traditional crop genetic resources was initiated in 1920s with the assistance of Russian researchers and first local varieties have been developed through breeding programmes. from 1950s With the establishment of Plant Genetic Resources(PGR) Section at Plant Science and Agricultural Research Institute(PSARI) in 1979, comprehensive preservation, exploration and collection of PGR was started on a regular basis and First 10 Year Programme for PGR exploration was launched. The programme involved collection, introduction and exploration of crop genetic resources in different agro-ecological zones to develope initial materials for breeding, enrich crop species with new varieties and identify suitable agroecological zones for crop production. In 1991, a new Five Year National Programme for PGR was started. This programme involved the collection, introduction, preservation, evaluation, exchange, documentation and utilization of PGR. All of the agricultural research institutes of Mongolian National Agricultural University(MNAU) are participating in this programme. In 1992, the National Board of PGRNBPGR) was established to address the urgent need for the coordination of the activities in the managment of PGR in Mongolia.
