      • 도시공원의 이용후 평가에 기초한 공원의 개발지표 설정 : 부산광역시 암남공원을 사례로 Case Study of Amnam Park in Busan City

        The purpose of this study is to investigate the prime factors that affect to user postoccupancy evaluation of activities and facilities in urban parks, to classify those factors, to find out factors about them, and then to suggest important indicators in the urban park planning, design, and development. The survey research was done using the self-administered questionnaire method by 435 peoples in the Busan City who participated in recreational activities in the Amnam Park. The Analysis of the data primarily consists of two phase: The first analysis was dealt an exploratory factor analysis which identified major factors involved in user postoccupancy evaluation with reacreational activities and facilities in Amnam Park by the SPSS(Ver.6.0) program and the second analysis was used to investigate the factors affected to user postoccupancy evaluation in the urban park by the Regression Analysis. According to the factor analysis, user postoccupancy evaluation of facilities in urban parks concerning the 20 variables, 5 prime factors by the staistical values were considered. The factor analysis showed that user postoccupancy evaluation of activities in urban parks concerning the 11 variables, 3 prime factors by the staistical values were analysed. Postoccupancy evaluation in the urban park by the Regression Analysis suggested that the two varlables as 'the directions of park development' and 'companies with the personal specific characteristics' are significant in addition to the some variables presented in user postoccupancy evaluation with reacreational activities and facilities in Amnam Park by the factor analysis. Furthomore the analysis models were identified as having significant effects on the factor and regression analysis. Overall fits of both models were very good. These significant relationships indicate important factors and variables that should be considered in planning, design, and development of the urban parks. Therefore, development direction of the h a m park has to be analyzed as significant factors concerning user postoccupancy evaluation in a systematic way, recognized as important variables for planning process. The urban park has to be fully designed and established in the planning process not by the decision-maker's subjective evaluation but by user postoccupancy evaluation.

      • DJ-1/park7 modulates vasorelaxation and blood pressure via epigenetic modification of endothelial nitric oxide synthase

        <P><B>Aims</B></P><P>DJ-1/park7, a multifunctional protein, may play essential roles in the vascular system. However, the function of DJ-1/park7 in vascular contractility has remained unclear. The present study was designed to investigate whether the DJ-1/park7 is involved in the regulation of vascular contractility and systolic blood pressure (SBP).</P><P><B>Methods and results</B></P><P>Norepinephrine (NE) elevated contraction in endothelium-intact vessels in a dose-dependent manner, to a greater extent in DJ-1/park7 knockout (DJ-1/park7<SUP>−/−</SUP>) mice than in wild-type (DJ-1/park7<SUP>+/+</SUP>) mice. Acetylcholine inhibited NE-evoked contraction in endothelium-intact vessels, and this was markedly impaired in DJ-1/park7<SUP>−/−</SUP> mice compared with DJ-1/park7<SUP>+/+</SUP>. Nitric oxide (NO) production (82.1 ± 2.8% of control) and endothelial NO synthase (eNOS) expression (61.7 ± 8.9%) were lower, but H<SUB>2</SUB>O<SUB>2</SUB> production (126.4 ± 8.6%) was higher, in endothelial cells from DJ-1/park7<SUP>−/−</SUP> mice than in those from DJ-1/park7<SUP>+/+</SUP> controls; these effects were reversed by DJ-1/park7-overexpressing endothelial cells from DJ-1/park7<SUP>−/−</SUP> mice. Histone deacetylase (HDAC)-1 recruitment and H3 histone acetylation at the eNOS promoter were elevated and diminished, respectively, in DJ-1/park7<SUP>−/−</SUP> mice compared with DJ-1/park7<SUP>+/+</SUP> controls. Moreover, SBP was significantly elevated in DJ-1/park7<SUP>−/−</SUP> mice compared with DJ-1/park7<SUP>+/+</SUP> controls, but this elevation was inhibited in mice treated with valproic acid, an inhibitor of Class I HDACs including HDAC-1.</P><P><B>Conclusion</B></P><P>These results demonstrate that DJ-1/park7 protein may be implicated in the regulation of vascular contractility and blood pressure, probably by the impairment of NO production through H<SUB>2</SUB>O<SUB>2</SUB>-mediated epigenetic inhibition of eNOS expression.</P>

      • 부산시 도시공원의 입지평가에 관한 연구

        The purpose of this study is to evaluate urban parks by location model. For the purpose of doing those, elements of location evaluation - altitude, gradient and accessibility - explored by GIS(Geographical Information System) are selected Evaluation of Location model for urban parks hardly being studied, evaluation of new model by spatial data for analysis shows possibilities in location policies of urban parks, especially, using physical and objective factors. Accessibility is examined by ratio of developed area to total area in Pusan. Altitude and gradient also are explored by each ratio of park areas. The results of evaluation of location model for urban parks in Pusan are summarized as follows; 1) A small scale park is more effective than large scale one in usability on present conditions in Pusan. 2) Most parks are located in areas which are in high altitude and severe slope ratio. Hierarchy of parks as the number of these based on parks' size is improper. Each commune called 'Gu' is very diverse and irrational in numbers and area of urban parks. Therefore, adjustment of irrational parks location is needed 3) Evaluation of this model may be different to facual evaluation because Pusan has many unmade parks. But, unmade parks must continue being constructed. Considering new location model, the problems of that are summarized as follows; 1) The method of analysis using GIS is very objective and effective in abtaining the spatial data. The following study on location and space may be very essential. 2) The problems of weight vague in relations among location elements is very important. Therefore, the more detail works should be required. 3) The model of this study is simple. For more close works, many factors - for example, park form, park management, linkage to other facilitis, etc. - must be considerated

      • 사상공원 식생의 활력에 미치는 환경영향에 관한 연구

        To object of this study was to analyze the effects of air pollution of industrial park to the environmental-ecology characterization in the Sa-Sang Park and the vicinity of South Gate in Mt. Geumjung. 6 transects(each size 400m2 were set up and surveyed each park. The relationships of the distribution of dominant groups for forest vegetation structure and the environmental condition between the Sa-Sang Park and the vicinity of South Gate San-Sung Amusement Park were analyzed by similarity index, frequencies of tree species, importance value, soil pH, SO2ㆍCOㆍNO2 and PM10 density of air and tree vitality. The results obtained were as follows, 1. For analysis of vegetation structure in the Sa-Sang Park, upperstory of forests was mostly consisted of Pinus thunbergii Parl and partly of Alnus japonica Steudel. In midstory, major components were Alnus japonica Steudel and partly of Pinus thunbergii Parl. In lower story Rhus sylvestris S. et Z, which was known to be resistant to air pollution, was found in large number. While the vicinity of South Gate in Mt. Geumjung has various species and stable forest vegetation, upperstory of forests was mostly consisted of Pinus rigida Mill and partly of Pinus densiflora S. et Z. Quercus serrata Thunb. Quercus mogolicα Fischer. Alnus hirsuta Rupr. In midstory, major components were Pinus rigida Mill and Alnus hirsuta Rupr. In lower story Rhododendron yedoense Maximowicz var. poukhanense(Le'v.) Nakai. and Rubus crataegifolius Bunge, Lespedeza bicolor Turcz. Similarity index in the Sa-Sang Park and the vicinity of South Gate in Mt. Geumjung was 42.31%. 2. Frequencies class of tree species were analyzed A(23.53%), B(17.65%),C(11.76%), D(5.88%), E(41.18%) in the Sa-Sang Park and A(29.41%), B(29.41%). C(23.53%), DC5.88%), E(11.77%) the vicinity of South Gate in Mt. Geumjung 3. Soil pH decreased to below pH 0.7 in the Sa~Sang Park as compared to pH 4.9in the vicinity of South Gate in Mt. Geumjung. In addition Water content decreased to below 7.7% in Sa~Sang Park as compared to 9.3% the vicilli앙 of South Gate in Mt. Geumjung. While SO2ㆍCO2 density of air and tree vitality were higher than those in the vicinity of South Gate in Mt. Geumjung. It is concluded that the Sa~Sang Park is only afraided to survive stronge tree species which resist to air pollution and decrease a function of city park in a few years that tree vitality of the Sa~Sang Park is higher than those in the vicinity of the South Gate in Mt. Geumjung. as a result environmental factorsCfor example SO2ㆍCOㆍNO2 and PM10 density of air, Water content, Soil pH and so on).

        부산광역시 도시공원의 관리운영 실태 분석에 관한 연구 - 관리주체측면을 중심으로 -

        본 연구는 부산광역시 조성 완료된 근린공원 69개소를 대상으로 관리하는 운영주체에 대한 파악과 그 실태를 분석하는 것을 목적으로 하고 있다. 이러한 연구목적을 달성하기 위해 공원녹지 관련 업무자료 및 담당자와 면담, 그리고 도시공원의 예산편성 자료를 바탕으로 관리주체를 조사하였으며, 위탁관리 및 별도의 기관에서 관리되는 경우는 홈페이지 및 직접방문을 통한 자료 수집을 통해 연구를 진행했다. 공원의 관리방식은 자치단체의 본청과 사업소에서 직영관리가 48개소(69.6%), 공단 및 민간단체에 위탁관리가 18개소(26.1%), 직영관리와 위탁관리를 병행하는 혼합관리가 3개소(4.3%)로 파악되었다. 그리고 도시공원의 관리 실태를 종합분석한 결과, 위탁관리하고 있는 공원은 공원의 총괄 관리가 미약하며, 공원관리가 조경 및 청소 등의 유지관리 위주로 관리되어 이용자를 위한 프로그램 운영이 미흡한 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 기초자치단체에서 관리되고 있는 총 46개소의 공원은 대부분 규모가 작은 근린공원이며, 공원의 유지관리를 위해 무기계약직 근로자 및 기간제근로자를 고용하여 관리하고 있어, 공원 관리운영을 위한 전문 인력 및 조직체계가 개선이 시급한 것으로 분석되었다. 또한, 공원 내 교양시설은 별도의 기관에서 관리하고 있어, 공원 내 공원시설이 아닌 독립된 교양시설로서 공원관리와 분리된 형태로 관리되고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과의 해결 방안으로는 공원의 적정인원 고용에 대한 법제화 및 제도적 개선, 시민단체와의 협력적 네트워크 구축, 시대변화에 따른 이용프로그램 기획 및 개발과 더불어 이용객 위주의 프로그램 관리를 지속적으로 실시하여야 할 것으로 판단된다. This study aims to figure out the main agent of management in the 69 recently constructed neighborhood parks in Busan, and to analyze the present status of the main agents. For this purpose, the work resources on park and landscape management, interview to related staff, and the budget on urban parks were found as the main agents of management. In case the parks were managed by consignment or by other separate organization, this study collected resources through the homepage or personal visits. As a result for the management method on parks, about 48 parks(69.6%) were under direct management by the local governments' main office and its business offices. Eighteen parks(26.1%) were commissioned to corporation or private organizations and three parks(4.3%) were operated by both direct and commissioned management. Because of the overall management result on urban parks, the company under outsourced management is not sufficient for a comprehensive management. Such is mainly focused on the maintenance like landscape or cleaning, but have fewer programs for the users. Forty-six parks cared by the local governments are mainly small sized neighborhood parks. For the management, contract workers or short-term workers are hired. It demonstrates an urgent need to improve professional personnel and organizational system for park management. In addition, any educational or cultural facility in the park is managed by separate institutions. Thus, it is not controlled as a park facility but an independent facility with separate controls. Moreover, to solve such problems, it needs legalization on the proper employment for parks, institutional improvement, cooperative network with NGO, planning and development of the program used according to the change of time, and customer oriented program management.

        가상평가법(CVM)에 의한 도시공원의 관리운영에 대한 경제적 가치평가에 관한 연구 - 부산시 APEC기념공원을 대상으로 -

        본 연구는 도시공원의 관리운영을 위한 민간기금 조성측면에서 부산시 APEC기념공원을 대상으로 가상평가법(Contingent Valuation Method: CVM)을 이용하여, 쾌적한 도시공원 유지를 위한 거주민이 인식하는 경제적 가치를 평가했다. 그 결과, 부산시 APEC기념공원의 관리운영을 위해 월 가구당 지불 가능한 추정금액은 5,673원에서 8,358원으로 평가되었다. 추정금액을 공원 유치권역의 가구로 확대하여 살펴보면, 2012년 편성된 공원 관리예산의 2.2~3.3배 수준으로 분석되어, 지역 거주민들이 인식하는 쾌적한 공원 유지를 위해 지불의사금액이 편성된 관리예산보다 높은 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 도시공원의 관리운영을 위한 지불의사금액에 영향을 주는 응답자의 사회적 요인으로는 연령, 교육수준, 소득으로 분석되었으며, 연령대가 높고, 교육수준이 높은 응답자에서 지불의사가 높은 것으로 평가되었다. 또한, 거주민의 공원이용 및 인식에 따라 도시공원 관리운영을 위한 지불의사금액에 많은 영향을 미치고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 특히 공원이용 빈도가 높은 거주민이 지불의사가 높으며, 주1회 이상 공원이용자가 전체 지불의사금액보다 1.1배 높은 추정금액으로 평가되었다. 그리고 공원의 필요성을 인식하는 것보다 공원을 만족하는 것이 더 높은 지불의사금액으로 이어지는 것을 밝혀냈다. 따라서 공원 만족도 제고를 위한 공원시설관리 및 이용프로그램 운영이 필요하며, 공원에 대한 인식을 기부로 연결할 수 있는 공원문화 보급정책이 필요하다고 판단된다. This study evaluated economic value recognized by the residents for the pleasant urban park management using contingent valuation method(CVM) to APEC Memorial Park in Pusan in terms of private fund development for the management of the city park. As a result, the estimated amount payable by each household for the management of APEC Memorial Park in Busan was between 5,673 won and 8,358 won. If such amount is expanded to households in park hosting area, it was 2.2~2.3 times of the park management budget in 2012, which demonstrates the willingness to pay (WTP) of residents for pleasant park was higher than the management budget. Social factors of respondents affecting WTP for city park management operation included age, educational level and income level. Those with high age and high education level had higher WTP. And, WTP was much affected by the use of park and recognition of residents. In particular, those with high frequency in the use of parks had higher WTP, and the users with more than once per week had 1.1 times higher WTP than overall WTP. Then, the satisfaction of park rather than recognition of necessity of park had led to higher WTP. Accordingly, it is necessary to manage park facility management and use program operation to enhance park satisfaction and it is also required to develop a park culture distribution policy to link such recognition to donation.

        In this paper, we propose a program to identify 14 parking status in a parking lot using a high resolution 360° camera of 12M. The proposed program consists of three steps: Match with plane image, parking area detection algorithm, and discrimination of parking using learning method. Tests on a model car to evaluate the program to identify 14 parking status in a parking lot using a high-resolution 360° camera of 12M showed 100% accuracy for both parking and double parking. Therefore, the effectiveness of a program to identify 14 parking status in a parking lot using a high-resolution 360° camera of 12M proposed in this paper has been proved.

      • 마을마당에서 재현된 전통조경요소에 관한 연구

        This study is aim to find modernized representation of Korean tradition and search the pattern of revival today's Village Parks by analyzing the characteristics of Village Parks which are constructed in Seoul. As a result of analyzing the patterns of revival in Village Parks with three factors-a direct representation, an abstract (metaphoric) representation and destructive representation : the three factors are used in previous surveys about the revival pattern of Village Parks-most landscape facilities are showed to modernized representation of Korean tradition but they are used with no relation to traditional methods. To show modernized representation of Korean tradition Village Parks are built with two ways: copying a prototype of the Village Park and making similar to it changing its texture or size and changing. To reconstruct Village Parks considering images of them and spatial characteristics is needed, giving consequences and functions. In this manners, ways to show modernized representation of Korean tradition are too limited. In modernized representation of Korean tradition, there is design guidance to help design those parks suitable for traditional images, but existent Village Parks are still inefficient to represent modernized representation of Korean tradition.

        한국인 폐확산능 정상예측식의 임상적 유용성과 정확성

        연구배경: 폐확산능을 해석하는 데 필요한 정상예측식으로는 한국인을 대상으로 하여 박 등이 개발한 식(박 식)이 있으나 아직 외국 정상예측식을 많이 사용하고 있다. 이에 국내에서 많이 사용하는 외국 정상예측식인 Burrows 식과 박 식의 임상적 유용성과 정확성을 비교하고자 하였다. 방법: 1. 임상적 유용성 연구; 2006년 7월부터 12월까지 6개월간 폐확산능검사를 시행한 환자 중 두 식을 각각 정상예측식으로 적용하였을 때 폐확산능 해석이 다른 276명(대상군 A)을 대상으로 하였다. 대상군 A에게 두 식을 각각 적용하였을 때 폐확산능 해석과 임상적 판단과의 일치도를 비교하여 임상적 유용성을 평가하였다. 2. 간질성폐질환 진단의 정확성 비교; 2001년부터 2006년까지 폐조직검사를 시행하여 확진된 간질성폐질환군과 서울아산병원에서 모집한 정상군을 대상으로 하여 정상예측식으로 두 식을 각각 적용하였을 때 폐확산능 해석의 정확도를 비교하였고, 두 식이 차이가 나는지 맥니머의 카이스퀘어 검정을 하였다. 결과: 1. 임상적 판단과의 일치도 비교; 276명을 임상정보를 토대로 폐확산능을 예측하여 분류한 결과 정상 54명, 감소 220명, 불분명이 2명이었다. 예측식으로 박 식과 Burrows 식을 적용하였을 때 임상적 판단과 일치하는 환자는 각각 78%와 22%이었다(p<0.001). 2. 간질성폐질환 진단의 정확성 비교; 박 식은 민감도 90.1%, 특이도 100%이었고 Burrows 식은 민감도 64.2%, 특이도 100%로 민감도가 통계학적으로 유의하게 박 식이 높았다(p<0.001). 결론: 우리나라 정상예측식인 박 식이 외국 정상예측식인 Burrows 식을 정상예측식으로 적용하는 것보다 임상적 유용성이나 간질성폐질환 진단의 민감도에서 더 우월하였다. 향후 폐확산능검사의 정상예측식으로 박 식을 사용해야 할 것으로 사료된다. Background: Park et al. developed the Korean reference equation for the measurement of diffusing capacity in 1985. However, the equation has not been widely used in Korea and foreign reference equations have been popularly used. We intended to compare the clinical usefulness and the accuracy of the the Korean reference equation (Park`s equation) with that of the foreign equation (Burrows` equation) that is commonly used in Korea. Methods: 1. Evaluation of clinical usefulness; Among 1,584 patients who underwent diffusing capacity (DLCO) at the Asan Medical Center from July to December 2006, group A subjects included 276 patients who had different interpretations of DLCO in trials employing Burrows` equation and Park`s equation. Clinical assessment was decided by consensus of two respiratory physicians. In order to evaluate the clinical usefulness of Burrows` equation and Park`s equation, agreement of clinical assessment and DLCO interpretation were measured. 2. Evaluation of accuracy; Group B subjects were 81 patients with interstitial lung disease (ILD) and 39 normal subjects. The 81 ILD patients were diagnosed following a surgical lung biopsy. The accuracy of diagnosing ILD as well as sensitivity and specificity were evaluated according to the use of the reference equations (Burrows` equation and Park`s equation) for DLCO. Results: Agreement between clinical assessment and interpretation of DLCO was 22% for the use of Burrows` equation and 78% for the use of Park`s equation. The sensitivity and specificity of the Burrows` equation for diagnosing ILD were 64.2% and 100%. The sensitivity and specificity of the Park`s equation for diagnosing ILD were 90.1% and 100%. The sensitivity of the Park`s equation for diagnosing ILD was significantly higher than that of Burrows` equation (p<0.001). Conclusion: The Korean reference equation (Park`s equation) was more clinically useful and had higher sensitivity for diagnosing ILD than the foreign reference equation (Burrows` equation).       • Development of a Mobile Application, "Wild Flowers of Bukhansan National Park (version 1.0)", for Identification of Plants in Bukhansan National Park

        We developed the educational purpose mobile application, named "Wild Flowers of Bukhansan National Park (version 1.0)", aiming for easy identification of wild flowers for students and visitors in the park. When visitors find a flower or part of plant in the park, visitors can search for its name utilizing the pictures and characters provided in their own smartphone mobile devices or tablet PCs. The application provides pictures of wild flowers in the park and character-based searching system based on 12 diagnostic features (e.g., growth form, leaf arrangement, flower symmetry, petal color, petal number, sepal number, etc). We adopted the complete floristic survey of Chung and Lee (1962) and added species that we confirmed their distribution in the park during the development of this application. In summary, number of vascular plants in this park was estimated to be 428 taxa including 100 families, 280 genera, 327 species, 1 subspecies, 50 varieties, and 5 formas. We provided a total of 588 pictures representing 358 taxa and each taxon includes multiple pictures in many cases. Included identification quizzes can be an efficient educational tool as well as fun activity for students and visitors who are learning plant species in Korea. Our next step will include GPS function in the application for indicating visitor's location and for providing previously reported sites of the species that we interested in the map of the park. The future application which includes GPS function will be a valuable tool for the monitoring of rare plants, plant researches related to the climate changes, etc. We currently provide Korean iPhone version only, and English version and both of android versions will be serviced soon.
