        The purpose of this study was to evaluate effects of Cordyceps militaris on fat oxidation during submaximal exercise. Fifteen healthy male collegiate students(ingestion group, N=7; control group, N=8) participated as subjects after signing an informed consent following overnight, subjects completed maximal graded execise test on treadmill to determine exercise intensity(50%VO2max). To evaluate the fat oxidation using indirect calorimeter, it was performed submaximal treadmill to determine exercise lasting. 40min at 50%VO2max after 5day and consumed Cordyceps militaris on separate days. This study was used 2×4 two way repeated ANOVA to analyze physiological and metabolic variables between two groups and metabolic variables between two groups and four exercise periods(l0min, 20min, 30min 40min), and used Scheffe to post-hoc test. Significance was set at α=.05. The results of this study were as followed: First, there were significantly highest in ingestion group for V02, percentage of fat oxidetion(%fat), fat per kilocarolies(Fkcal), and total per kilocarolies(Tkcal)(p<.05), but respiratory exchange ration(RER) and heart rete(HR) were significantly lower in ingestion group(p<.05). Second, RER, %fat, Fkcal were significantly difference in 10, 20, 30, 40min of exercise period(p<.05). This results suggest that there is the effect of Cordyceps militaris on fat oxidation submaximal exercise. Additionally, to evaluate effect of Cordyceps militaris as ergogenic aid, it should be required the future study that included extend subjects, various dosage, and chronic consumption.

      • 운동부하 방법에 따른 탈진적인 트레드밀 운동중 탄수화물과 지방 연수의 비교

        The purpose of this study was to compared the carbohydrate and fat oxidation during exhaustion treadmill exercise by exercise protocols. The subject fo this study were consisted of twelve healthy active male college students(19.5±.9 years) majoring physical education. The active male subjects were measured for the VO_2, RER, energy expenditure and carbohydrate and fat oxidation during exhaustion treadmill exercise by protocols(Bruce, modified Ellestad, Ramp). The carbohydrate and fat oxidation was determined by converting VO2 to each treadmill stage using RER and a Lusk table. There are no significant difference at RER, Fkcal(fat kilocalories) and Ckcal(carbohydrate kilocalories) by each protocols, and ratio of carbohydrate and fat oxidation were not significant difference by each protocols. The VO_2(E; 2.65±.29, R; 2.39±.25ℓ/min) and energy expenditure(E; 12.98±1.46, R; 11.68±1.22kcal/min) was significant difference by each protocols. The VO2 and energy expenditure in modified Ellestad protocol was significantly higher than Ramp protocol. This results suggest that was this exercise can increase the cost of energy and has a effect of fat oxidation.

        The purpose of this reivew was to study acupunture and moxa treatments for abnormal leukorrhea. Normal leukorrhea is always secreted in female vagina. It increased usually by infection(Trichomoniasis and Candidiasis), turmor and so on. In acupunrure therapy meridians of Bladder, Stomach and Spleen were mostly used for them in connection with the functions of each meridians. In particular, Chung-guk(cv3), Kwan-won(cv4) points of Conception vessal Meridian and Samum-gyo point of Spleen meridian are frequently applied in leukorrhea.

      • 운동유형이 회복기 대사변인과 EPOC에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study was to compared the magnitude of excess post-oxygen consumption(EPOC) following resistance exercise(1-RM of 60%) and aerobic exercise(VO₂ max of 60%). The subjects of study were consisted of each ten trained and untrained male college students(19.7±2.3, 19.3±0.5 years). This study was designed to compare the magnitude of EPOC following two exercise types. For both exercise types, resistance and aerobic exercise was energy consumption of total 300㎉ during exercise(untrained aerobic & resistance 298.6±2.9, 297.8±2.1㎉ ; trained aerobic & resistance 299.6±2.6, 295.7±4.1㎉). The dependant variables in this study consisted of three parts, metabolic variables (VO₂, RER, rectal temperature, lactic acid), EPOC and total energy consumption after exercise. To compare the difference of metabolic variables rest, during exercise and recovery period of each groups, 2×2 combined design two-way ANOVA was used. 2×2×2 combined design three-way ANOVA were used for compare the metabolic variables rest, during exercise and recovery period between groups. EPOC and total energy consumption during recovery period was used one-way ANOVA. The statistical significance was set at 0.05. The results were obtained as following, first, VO₂ during recovery of each groups was higher significantly than the rest(both group; until 5 min, p<0.05). RER was decreased significantly in both untrain and train group(p<0.05). Rectal temperature(RT) and lactic acid concentration was higher significantly than the rest in each group(p<0.05). Second, the difference of exercise types was statistically significant among two groups. Finally, result of EPOC and total energy consumption was higher significantly trained group than untrained group in after aerobic exercise(p<0.05). However, resistance exercise was not statistically significant between groups, but the value was higher trained group. The results suggest that EPOC follow aerobic exercise higher the resistance exercise, thus exercise prescription for weight loss and fat oxidation following exercise include aerobic exercise. However resistance exercise is recommended, because fat oxidation ratio was higher during recovery period by resistance exercise.

      • 여자 축구 선수들의 등속성 각근력과 무산소성 운동능력의 상관관계 연구

        The purpose of this study was to investigate correlation between the isokinetic leg strength and anaerobic exercise capacity from Wingate ergometer test in women soccer players. 30 females soccer players performed two exercise test. Anaerobic exercise capacity variables including peak power(WPP), mean power(WMP), peak anaerobic power(WPAP) and peak anaerobic capacity(WPAC) test were analyzed using Wingte cycle ergometer test(30sec) and isokinetic leg strength variables including peak torque(PT), average power(AP) and set total work(STW) were analyzed using Cybex 770 iskokinetic device(60, 90, 180°/sec, 5, 10, 25repetitions, respectively). Isokinetic leg strength variables was calculated by the mean value of both knee(legt and right). The experimental results from this study are the following: There were a significant positive correlation between WPP and WMP and PT of knee extension in comparison with knee flexion. PT of knee extension at 60°/sec had the highest positive correlation with WPP(r=.789, p=.000). And WMP had the highest positive correlation with PT of knee extension at 180°/sec. Also, there were a significant positive correlation between WPAP and WPAC and PT of knee extension in comparison with knee flexion. WPAP had the highest positive correlation with PT of knee extension at 90°/sec (r=.765, p=.000)and WPAC had the highest positive correlation with PT of knee extension at 180˚/sec(r=768, p=.000). In conclusion, anaerobic exercise capacity using Wingate test had a significant positive correlation with PT of knee extension. However, because little is known about the correct measurement and evaluation the soccer fitness of women soccer players, it is necessary to study about the improvement of various soccer fitness of women soccer players.

        腦卒中 患者 形態에 關한 臨床硏究

        Clinical observation was made on 52 cases of Stroke that were confined through brain CT, MRI scan. The Stroke cases wee classified into the following kinds cerebral infarction, cerebral hemorrhage, cerebellar or brain stem infarction, cerebellar or brain stem hemorrhage. and among the 52 cases of Stroke cerbral infarction was noticed in 75.00%, cerebral hemorrhage in 11.54%, cerebellar or brain stem infarction in 9.52%, cerebeller or brain stem hemorrhage in 3.85%. The ratio between males and females was 1.74:1 in the whole groups of Stroke and most cases were over 60 of age. As the time of hospitalization, most patients hospitalized from 1 day after stroke to 7 days after stroke. And as the course of hospitalization, most patients hospitalized first. Among the preceding disease at the onset of Stroke hypertention was noted in 32.69%, and deabetes mellitus or heart problem was noted frequently(15.39%). Electrocardiography findings were as follows: The normal was noted in 53.85%, the abnormal in 46.15%. And as the abnormal, left ventricular hypertrophy was noted in 17.54%. The predisposing factors or conditions at the onset of brain infarction were usually initiated during the time of sleeping and those of brain hemorrhage chiefly during the time of execising like overwork or walking etc. It was noted that smoking a pack of cigarette showed highest disease rate(33.33%) among the average of smoking amount of one day in case of man. Prior to attack, the most chiefly complain was dyspnea or discomfort on chest region. And 30.70% of patients had no previous sign. There were a large number of recurrent cases. The first attack was noted in 71.15%, the 2nd attack in 23.08%, the 3rd attack in 5.77%.

        우리는 DWT를 적용하요 석ㆍ골재의 패턴 분류와 인식을 위한 테이타베이스를 구축하였다. 우선, 우리는 이미지의 각 row 벡터를 DWT를 수행하여 각 row 벡터마다 특징값을 얻는다. 그리고나서 같은 방법으로 row 벡터의 특징값을 이미지전체의 특징 값을 얻을 때가지 DWT를 반복해서 수행한다. 그런 다음 우리는 이미지의 히스트그램을 얻는다. 특징 값과 히스토그램은 이미지의 특징을 나타낸다. CCD 카메라로 새로운 이미지를 얻었을 때 우리는 먼저 특징 값과 히스트그램을 얻는 과정을 수행한다. 그 특징 값을 가지고 패턴 원형을 찾기 위해 저장된 특징 값과 비교하여 비슷한 값들을 찾아낸다. 그리고 입력 데이터의 히스트그램을 가지고 이전 과정에서 찾아낸 이미지들의 히스트그램과 비교하여 가장 유사한 패턴 원형을 찾아낸다. 이 방법은 석ㆍ골재의 자동분류를 할 수 있도록 하여 생상선 향상과 비용절감을 가능하게 한다. We built some database of stone and aggregate resources for classification and pattern recognition using DWT(discrete wavelet transform). First, we perform one dimensional DWT for each row of the image and obtain one value for each row of image. Then we perform again the same DWT for them to get a feature value. Next, we evaluate the histogram of input image data. The feature value and histogram represent the feature of image data. when an image data achieved by CCD camera, we perform same process again to get a feature value and a histogram. the feature value is compared with stored feature values to choose candidates. And then the histogram of input data is compared with some histogram value of candidates to find target image. this method can be adapted to automation of manufacturing of stone and aggregate resources for high quality low cost products.

        In this study, Variation Characteristics and Analysis of Water Pollution Factors in Iksan stream were investigated and samples were collected 7 times during this study period at nine points. The water quality criteria of Iksan stream is first grade but it is over fifth grade because of domestic wastewater and livestock wastewater. Particularly, livestock wastewater from Wang-kung affect water quality of Iksan stream. So livestock wastewater should be controlled to recover water quality of Iksan stream.

      • 칼슘과 아연으로 치환된 Y0.8 Pr0.₂ Ba₂ Cu₃ O7_δ 의 전기 및 자기적 성질에 관한 연구

        전이온도가 72K인 고온초전도체 Y?P?B?Cu?O?에서 초전도성을 감소시키는 Pr원소자리에 Ca과 Zn를 적당히 치환시켜 자기적 성질을 연구하였다. 초전도 전이온도(Tc)는 Ca이 치환된 시료의 경우 80~85k의 범위에서 측정되었으며, Zn가 치환된 경우에는 35~49K의 값을 보였다. 비저항의 온도 변화로부터 결정된 전기적 전이온도는 온도에 대한 자기모우먼트으 변화에서 구한 자기적 전이온도와 비슷한 값을 보였다. 자기이력곡선으로부터 Bean의 모델을 이용하여 Hcl(저임계자기장), Hc?(고임계자기장), 반자성정도, 임계전류밀도를 측정하였다. 이러한 성질들은 시료 내에 Ca의 치환량이 많아질수록 증가하였으며, Zn가 많아질수록 급격히 감소하였다. 특히 임계전류밀도는 x=0.0인 시료는 1.60x10?A/㎠이었으며 Ca이 치환된 시료는 1.30~1.98x10? A/㎠, Zn가 첨가된 시료는 3.5x10?~1.3x10?A/㎠의 값으로 계산되었다. 이것은 시료 내에서 Ca은 초전도성을 증가시키고, Zn는 초전도성을 감소시키는 것을 의미한다. We have studied magnetic properties as a appropriate substitute of Ca and Zn element for Prelement which reduces superconducting properties in the high-temperature superconductor Y?Pr?Ba?Cu?O? of transition temperature 72K. When Ca is put into, the critical temperature(Tc)showed the value of measurement at the range of 80~85K while for Zn the Tc had the range of 35~49K. The electric critical temperature determined by the temperature dependence of resistivity had a similar data to the magnetic field), Hc?(high critical magnetic field), diamagnetic ratio and critical current density have observed by Bean's model from the magnetic hysterisis curve. These properties were increased with adding Ca and abruptly decreased with adding Zn in the samples. Especially, the critical current density of x=0.0 sample was calculated at 1.60x10?A/㎠ and those of the other Ca-added samples at the range of 1.30~1.98xA/㎠and those of Zn-added samples at the range of 3.50x10?~1.30x10?A/㎠. These mean that Ca increases supercondecting properties in the sample and Zn element decreases them.
