This article has an intention to understand business travellers who want to the service of super-deluxe hotel level but prefer mid-priced hotel which costs relatively inexpensive by comparing and analyzing behavior of them per the area of rooms and outer environments and other facilities and offer basic data for market segmentation. The purpose of this article is identify the difference of choosing super-deluxe hotel and mid-priced hotel, which business travellers consider important and understand satisfaction with the results of it so as to seek the way for mid-priced hotel to take superior competition differentiated from the super-deluxe hotel and towards world wide competitive level. And also it is to offer necessary basic concept for new investors or experienced investors who construct mid-priced hotel. 호텔 비즈니스센터 인적.물적 서비스품질과 서비스가치가 고객만족도에 미치는 영향

As a new international order emerges today, the number of business guests is increasing, and their demand for specialized and diversified service absolutely require business centers capability to supply individual, specialized and differentiated service, and for realization of guest satisfaction, business center shall absolutely improve its service quality. This study intends to analyze the influence of quality of human and material services supplied by business centers on guests value of the service and the correlation between quality of human and material services and guest satisfaction influencing guests intention for repeated visits and recommendation to others. The results of study affirmatively prove all the hypotheses suggested in the study models. Finally implications for executives and managers of hotels are discussed.Keyword : Hotel Business Center, Service Quality, Service Value, Guest's Satisfaction
사회환경교육의 교육과정 표준화 모형 및 통합프로그램 개발연구

This paper presents the development of standardized modules and an integrated program which will be used for social environmental education. The study objectives are to develop modules which are based on various environmental topics, to relate the regional environmental topics to the educational modules and program, and to include the demand of students in the modules and program. Literature and questionary surveys, as well as, module development method were utilized as research tools. The titles of developed modules are "The Green Plant Earth," "Unexpected Resources: Save Resources and Recycle", "Water as the Mother of All Lives", "The Blue Sky with Clean Air", and "Soil as the Home of All Living and Non-living Things". It is hoped that the developed modules and program are utilized as course materials and curriculum for social environmental education in various educational institutes. The study results will be materialized as multimedia in near futher.

Carbonized rice hull, perlite, and vermiculite were mixed and investigated for the probability of tobacco transplant production by means of plug and transfer float system. These seedling bed materials in condition of float system have gaseous phase ranged from 6% to 13% showing a proper growth of tobacco seedling. However compost media mixed with soil, sand, and compost in condition of float system led to the shortage of respiration in root system by very low proportion of gaseous phase skewing a wicked growth of seedling. Absorption of heat by floating water for the daytime increased rhizosphere temperature in condition of float system during the night and low temperature season resulting in better growth of tobacco seedling. Consequently transplant production of tobacco seedling by float system with mixed materials of carbonized rice hull, perlite, and vermiculite was thought to be desirable method for manufacturing production system of transplant considering the effective management of water, nutrients, and temperature of seedling bed materials.

The purpose of this study is to evaluate farmer’s general contents on the current direct payment schemes and to derive some improvement measures, based on the survey data for the three types of direct payment schemes currently executed in Korea; Rice Farmer's Income Support, Early Retirement Aged Farmer's Support and Less Favored Area Direct Payment. In recent years we have introduced diverse direct payment schemes that are expected to have immediate effects in a short term period without enough preparation of the policy, which raises some contradiction between the agricultural policy and the original purpose of the direct payments. The result shows some important revisions should be made related the direct payment schemes, such as farmer's income stability through the improvement of unit payment and the payment length jointed with criteria of the payment, in addition to keeping up multifunctionality of agriculture and enhancing the effect of structural adjustment in agriculture.

The objective of the study was to evaluate the antibacterial activity of onion shells, which are discarded as industrial wastes, against fish pathogenic bacteria using various extractants such as water, ethanol, ethyl acetate and butanol. Water onion extracts did not show any antibacterial activity in the tested bacteria but butanol onion extracts showed antibacterial activity against Bacillus subtilis and Escherichia coli BE 1186. Ethyl acetate and ethanol onion extracts showed antibacterial activity for all the test bacteria. Ethanol, an edible stuff, was possible to use as an extractant of onion shells in industrial process to make marketed products. We further studied the effects of heat and PH on the antibacterial activity of ethanol onion extract against fish pathogenic bacteria. Heating did not change the antibacterial activity of the ethanol extract. However, ethanol extract showed a decreasing antibacterial activity toward alkaline (pH 11). These results indicate that the ethanol onion extracts is suitable for use as supplementary antibacterials.
