      • 오창 학소리유적 토광묘내 유리구슬의 화학적 특성 - 37호 및 40호 -

        오창 학소리I유적의 토광묘에서 유리구슬 시료 4점을 입수하고 각각 13종의 산화물을 분석하였다. 토광묘에서 출토된 유리구슬의 화학조성에 따른 유리 계통을 정리하였고 어떤 발색제가 기여하였는지를 확인하였으며 구슬을 제조하기 위한 원료의 대해서도 검토하였다. 토광묘에서 녹청색 유리 4점은 모두 $K_2O-CaOSiO_2$ 계통이며 동일한 농도범위이어서 같은 원료를 사용했을 것으로 판단되며, 이중 3점은 PbO 함량이 4% 이상으로서 포타쉬납유리 계통($K_2O-PbO-CaO-SiO_2$)으로 볼 수 있다. 유리의 녹청색은 Cu에 의한 것으로 생각되며 일부 철의 역할도 있었을 것이다. 납동위원소비 분포는 모두 흩어져있어 동일 지역에서 가져온 납을 사용했다고 볼 수 없다. Four glass beads from Hakso-ri site, O'chang were analyzed for thirteen oxides with SEM/EDS and lead isotope ratios with TIMS respectively. These samples were classified to potash glass system($K_2O-CaO-SiO_2$) with HCLA(High CaO, Low $Al_2O_3$). However three samples with above 4% for lead could be classified to potash-lead ($K_2O-PbO-CaO-SiO_2$)glass system and it seemed that coloring agent for greenish blue was Cu. Lead isotope ratio data for four samples did not make a group but scattered to the space respectively. It needs more study for compositions and lead iosotope data of potash-lead glasses with regions and ages.

        6-하이드록시도파민으로 유도된 흰쥐 뇌내의 도파민 고갈에 대한 l-디프레닐의 억제효과

        Whereas a selective inhibitor of mmoamine oxidase type B, l-deprenyl (selegiline), is now widely used in the treatment of Parkinson`s disease, the precise action mechanism of the drug remains elusive. In this study, to investigate protective effect of l-deprenyl against the dopamine depletion induced by 6-hydroxydopamine (6-OHDA). The changes in tissue contents of dopamine, serotmine (5-HT) and their metabolites by l-deprenyl were examined in intact and 6-OHDA-lesioned rat brain. In intact rats, a single intraperitoneal (I.p.) admimistration of l-deprenyl showed a no change in striatal dopamine and its metabolites at low concentrations (0.25 and 1mg/kg), but significantly inhibited dopamine metabolism at a higher concentration (10mg/kg). The repeated administration of l-deprenyl (0.25 and 1mg/kg, I.p., for 21 consecutive days) reduced the contents of 3,4-dihydroxyphenylacetic acid (DOPAC) and homovanilic acid (HVA) in dose-dependent manners without changes in dopamine content. Bilateral intracerebroventricular (I.c.v.) infusion of 6-OHDA (100mcg/10mcl/hemisphere) depleted dopamine in striatum and septum by 81% and 90% respectively. When rats were pretreated with l-deprenyl before 6-OHDA administration, the striatal and septal dopamine levels were signaficantly increased by about 3.0-fold and 3.4-fold, respectively, compared to the untreated 6-OHDA-lesioned rat. Pretreatment of l-deprenyl also significantly enhanced the dopamine metabolites, DOPAC, HVA and 3-methoxytyramine, in the striatum, and DOPAC in the septum. These results indicate that a l-deprenyl pretreatment prevents 6-OHDA-induced depletion of striatal dopamine and its metabolites.

        It was performed that the childrens physical conditions improved through school feeding programs: The results obtained are follows: 1. The school feeding lunch program must be provided with education plan. Through the nutritional education, feeding lunch program is performed. 2. Throughout the school feeding program, their home feeding program was good for children, particulary improving the unbalanced diet was reformed. 3. The physical conditions of children in school feeding was better than non-feeding school children. 4. It was investigated that the school feeding program must be enforced all over the country, because school feeding program was good enough for diet program's exchange.

      • 튀김에 의한 油脂의 化學的인 變化

        The changes of the acid value, saponification value, iodine value and peroxide value of fat and oil according to the preservation time and frequency of frying were determined. Soybean oil, corn oil, shortening and shrimp coated with flour batter were used in this experiment. The results were as follows ; The acid value and peroxide value were increased gradually by the preservation time and frequency of frying. The saponification value and iodine value were decreased as the preservation time and frequency of frying passed in soybean oil and corn oil, but increased in shortening. It is suggest that reasonable frying temperature of soybean oil, corn oil and shortening would be 160∼180℃ in home cooking.

      • Wintering Waterbirds at Dongjin River Estuary

        본 조사는 전라북도에 위치한 동진강하구에서 1996년 10월부터 1997년 4월까지 매월 2회 조사한 결과이다. 동진강 하구는 약 12,000㏊에 이르는 광활한 간척지, 2개의 간척호와 조간대 지역이 있다. 조사 기간 중 관찰된 수조류는 총 57종(미확인 9종 포함), 최대 81,375개체였다. 수조류의 대부분은 기러기목 조류(41.6%)와 도요목 조류(19.2%)였다. 최대 관찰수에서 우점종은 청둥오리(30.0%), 민물도요(10.8%), 흑부리오리(3.1%)와 흰뺨검둥오리(2.2%) 순이었다. 본 지역은 월동하는 수조류의 휴식 및 취식 장소로 비교적 안정되어 있으므로 그 가치가 매우 높을 것으로 사료되며 국제적으로도 중요한 습지가 될 것 이다. This survey was conducted during October 20, 1996 - April 26, 1997 at Dongjin river estuary in Chollabuk-do, Korea. Dongjin river estuary has about 12,000 ㏊ of rice field, two lakes and mudflat for wintering waterbirds. Forty eight species of waterbirds were observed and a maximum count of 81,375 individuals were found in this period. Most of waterbirds were waterfowl (41.6%) and shorebirds (19.2%). The dominant species were Mallard (30.0%), Dunlin (10.8%), Common shelduck (3.1%) and Spotbill duck (2.2%). Many waterbirds were wintering at Dongjin river estuary. This area has provided a suitable roosting and feeding place for waterbirds. Therefore Dongjin river estuary has potential as a wintering place for waterbirds and it may possibly become an internationally important wetland, evaluated by the Ramsar convention criteria. However, many parts of this wintering site are disappearing with the reclamation.
