      • 고려 엉겅퀴(Cirsium setidens Nakai) 잎 조직을 이용한 callus 배양 및 항산화 활성 검증

        We described the effects of antioxidant activity on the extracts of tissue and callus formation by Cirsium setidens Nakai. The callus culture were induced from leaf tissue of Cirsium setidens in both MS and B5 medium with IAA or/and kinetin (0∼5.0 ㎎/ℓ). As medium for callus culture induced from Cirsium setidens, B5 medium showed better condition than MS media. MS medium brought to decrease callus differentiation after formation, on the other hand B5 medium induced to accelerate callus differentiation. Among phytohormones is required 0.5 ㎎/ℓ of IAA and between 2.0 ㎎/ℓ and 1.0 ㎎/ℓ of Kinetin for formation of callus. In order to extract functional material from natural leaf and callus tissue of Cirsium setidens used distilled water and 75% ethanol as solvent and those extract used to determine antioxidant activity as alpha-diphenyl-2-picryl-hydrozyl (DPPH) radicals scavenging effect and TBA(thiobarbituric acid) activity. In result, the effect of DPPH and TBA had high activity more natural leaf extract than callus tissue and 75% ethanol was solvent better than distilled water. The 75% ethanol extract of natural leaf showed an excellent antioxidant activity because that particularly had highest concentration of vitamin C and total phenol among those extracts

        It is usual that the medical examination of human body need special knowledge and equipments. Thus we have to spend time and energy on going to special place such as hospital where doctors and equipment are. Which often cause missing a good chance of medical treatment as well as giving us inconvenience. However may simple and convenient equipments were developed for checking our health conditions recently. O-ring test is accepted as one of useful methods to examine our health conditions. Also the test is recognized as a useful means to judge if some medical substances or foods are beneficial or harmful to our health without any special equipment and medical knowledge. An automatic O-ring test machine has been developed[11]. However the tester have a problem that the pattern of applied force to the O-ring is different from that of manual case. In this study, the reaction force tip is modified and the validity of the tip is verified through experiments.

      • 설갑상선 : 1 예 보고 A Case Report

        갑상선 조직 전체가 설기저부에 발생한 이소성 설갑상선 증례를 경험하였기에 그 방사선학적 소견을 문헌고찰과 함께 보고하고자 한다. 증례는 59세 여자 환자로 40 일전부터 발생한 음성 변화를 주소로 내원하였다. 이학적 검사에서 설 기지부 중앙에 회백색의 격막에 둘러 쌓인 3 cm 가량의 종괴가 있었으며, 종괴는 내장으로 돌출하여 구인두를 막고 있었다. 경부 전산화 단층촬영 측면 정찰 촬영에서, 설 기저부에 후방으로 돌출하여 구인두를 막고 있는 경계가 분명한 연부조직 종괴가 보였으며, 전산화 단층촬영 동맥기와 정맥기에 주변의 혈관과 비슷한 강하고 균일한 조영증강을 보이는 장경 2.5 cm의 원형 종괴가 있었다. 또한 갑상선이 있어야 할 경부 전방 공간에서 정상 갑상선 조직은 전혀 보이지 않았다. 설 기저부의 종괴에서 생검을 시행하였으며 병리 검사에서 갑상선 조직으로 진단되어 설갑상선으로 확진되었다. The authors report a case of ectopic thyroid that whole thyroid tissue was replaced by lingual thyroid. A 59-year-old female presented with dysphonia duration of 40 days. On physical examination, there was a 3 cm sized well encapsulated whitish mass protruding to oral cavity in milline of tongue to base. Computerized tomography of neck revealed homogeneously enhancing well marginated 2.5 cm sized round mass in the cecum of tongue base on arterial and venous phase. And there was no normal thyroid gland in lower anterior neck.

        선천성 낭성 선종양 기형은 태생 16주 이후 말단세기관지의 형성이 중단되어 미성숙기관지들과 중배엽성분들이 과도하게 증식하여 발생하는 드문 선천성 폐질환이다. CT소견은 낭종의 크기 숫자, 내용물 등에 따라 다양하나, 병변내에 정상적인 폐혈관이 보인 예는 전세계적으로 보고된 적이 없었다. 저자들은 역동적 흉부 CT상 균일한 저음영의 병변내에 정상 폐혈관상이 유지된 선천성 낭성 선종양 기형 1예를 경험하였기에 보고한다. Congenital cystic adenomatoid malformation(CCAM) is a rare pulmonary disease that is thought to be developed by abnormal proliferation of immature alveoli and other mesenchymal component from the abrupt halting of the terminal alveoli formation after 16 weeks of gestation. On CT scan, there are no consistencies regarding to size, numbers, and its contents but no cases were reported in past showing normal pulmonary vascularities. We reports a case of CCAM that showed normal pulmonary vascularities within the hypodense lesions on a dynamic chest CT

      • 기흉 후 발생한 뇌동맥 공기 색전증 : 1예 보고

        뇌혈관내 공기 색전증은 뇌혈관 조영술, 혈관내 도자술 시행시 발생하여 매우 심각한 합병증을 유발할 수 있다. 그러나 기흉의 합병증으로 발생한 경우는 보고된 적이 없다. 저자들은 기흉에 의하여 발생한 뇌혈관내 공기 색전증 1예를 경험하였기에 보고한다. Cerebral arterial air embolism is a potentially fatal event that may occur during the cerebral angiography and intravascular catheterization. The CT findings of cerebral arterial air embolism following pneumothorax have not been reported. We report a case of cerebral arterial air embolism following pneumothorax, and describe the CT findings.

      • 비등방성 확산 필터와 형태학적 처리를 이용한 역하프토닝

        Digital Halftoning convert a continuous-tone images to a binary images. Inverse halftoning addresses the problem of recovering a continuous image from a halftoned binary image. Simple low pass filtering can remove the high frequency noise but it also removes the edge information. Thus the edge information should be separated from the halftoning noise. As a result, the edge of result image is blurring. This paper present that we obtain continuous-tone-image which using Anisotropic diffusion filter. To reduce noise without blurring the edges of reconstructed image use edge map. The experimental result show that proposed method gives a higher PSNR and better subjective quality than conventional methods. As a result, the edge information of reconstructed image reduce blurring.

      • L - NAME 주입시 신 교감신경이 신혈류량 변화에 미치는 영향

        Recently it is known renal medullar will be play a important role of blood pressure control and pressure natriuresis. Renomedullary antihypertensive mechanism is activated by increasing perfusion pressure of kidney and can be inhibited by sympathetic nerve stimulation or blockade of nitric oxide(NO) formation. It is important to know what is affect on renal regional blood flow, especially renal medullary blood flow(MBF). For the purpose of investigating the effect of the renal sympathetic nerve on regional blood flow during infusion of blocking NO synthesis(by N^(ω)-nitro-L-arginine methylester:L-NAME) in spontaneous hypertensive rat(SHR) and Wistar rats normal control, Mean arterial pressure(MAP), total renal blood flow(TRBF), midcortical blood flow(CBF), inner medullary blood flow were measured in innervated or denervated renal sympathetic nerve group of SHR and Wister rats. All group that received the L-NAME were seen increasing MAP while TRBF, CBF and MBF decreased and the decrease of TRBF in SHR is more marked than in Wistar rat. In spite of increasing the MAP, MBF in all four group decreased, respectively C: 220 ± 3 U, 205 ± 2 U Wi : 215 ± 4 U, 165 ± 12 U Wd :218 ± 3 U, 170 ± 10 U Si :195 ± 4 U, 98 ± 15 U Sd : 200 ± 3 U, 120 ± 14 U, especially the most remarkable decrease about 50 % in SHR innervated group. Thus, according to these result, NO seems to maintain the MBF and the partial interaction between renal sympathetic nerve and NO in medullary blood flow can be suggested in innervated SHR.

        특이한 악관절 강직증 : 진성 악관절 강직증과 상악골과 하악골 사이의 골성 유합

        TMJ ankylosis is classified with true and false type. A true ankylosis is defined as any condition that produces fibrous or bony adhesions between the articular surfaces of the temporomandibular joint. The main causes of true ankylosis are trauma or infection. A false ankylosis results from pathologic conditions outside the joint that limit mobility of the mandible such as myogenic disorders, coronoid impingement or rare direct bony fusion between maxilla and mandible. The treatment of choice of TMJ ankylosis is surgical intervention. We experienced the male patient with complete mouth opening limitation since 45 years before. This patient has true TMJ ankylosis and rare bony synostosis between maxilla and mandible in the right posterior region. We performed surgical intervention and had a favorable result.
