Background and Purpose Previous studies have explored the association between retinal vascular changes and cognitive impairment. The retinal vasculature shares some characteristics with the cerebral vasculature, and quantitative changes in it could indicate cognitive impairment. Hence, a comprehensive meta-analysis was performed to clarify the potential relationship between retinal vascular geometric changes and cognitive impairment. Methods Relevant databases were scrupulously and systematically searched for retinal vascular geometric changes including caliber, tortuosity, and fractal dimension (FD), and for cognitive impairment. The Newcastle-Ottawa Scale was used to evaluate the methodological quality of included studies. RevMan was used to perform the meta-analysis and detect publication bias. Sensitivity analyses were also performed. Results Five studies that involved 2,343 subjects were finally included in the meta-analysis. The results showed that there was no significant association between central retinal artery equivalents (Z=1.17) or central retinal venular equivalents (Z=1.74) and cognitive impairment (both p>0.05). Similarly, no significant difference was detected in retinal arteriolar tortuosity (Z=0.91) and venular tortuosity (Z=1.31) (both p>0.05). However, the retinal arteriolar FD (mean difference: -0.03, 95% CI: -0.05, -0.01) and venular FD (mean difference: -0.03, 95% CI: -0.05, -0.02) were associated with cognitive impairment. Conclusions A smaller retinal microvascular FD might be associated with cognitive impairment. Further large-sample and well-controlled original studies are required to confirm the present findings.

Objective: The aim of this study was to investigate associations between the morphology score of blastocysts and blastocoele re-expansion speed after warming with clinical outcomes, which could assist in making correct and cost-effective decisions regarding the appropriate time to vitrify blastocysts and to transfer vitrified-warmed blastocysts. Methods: A total of 327 vitrified-warmed two-blastocyst transfer cycles in women 38 years old and younger were included in this retrospective study. Results: The clinical pregnancy rate (CPR) and implantation rate (IR) of transfers of two good-morphology grade 4 blastocysts vitrified on day 5 (64.1% and 46.8%, respectively) were significantly higher than the CPR and IR associated with the transfers of two good-morphology grade 3 blastocysts vitrified on day 5 (46.7% and 32.2%, respectively). No significant differences were found in the CPR and IR among the transfers of two good-morphology grade 4 blastocysts regardless of the day of cryopreservation. Logistic regression analysis showed that blastocoele reexpansion speed after warming was associated with the CPR. Conclusion: The selection of a good-morphology grade 4 blastocyst to be vitrified could be superior to the choice of a grade 3 blastocyst. Extending the culture of grade 3 blastocysts and freezing grade 4 or higher blastocysts on day 6 could lead to a greater likelihood of pregnancy. Since re-expansion was shown to be a morphological marker of superior blastocyst viability, blastocysts that quickly re-expand after warming should be prioritized for transfer.
Study on localization influences of frequency veering on vibration of mistuned bladed disk

Reduced-order models of the bladed disk of the aero-engine compressor were established by adopting Prestressed component mode synthesis (PCMS) method. The frequency veering characteristics of the tuned bladed disk were analyzed. From the aspect of the strain energy, the forced vibration response of the mistuned bladed disk was analyzed, along with calculation of the contribution degree factors, the localization factors and frequency veering distances, finding the influences of the frequency veering distance, the contribution degree factors and the localization. The results show that frequency veering has significant influence on vibration localization of the mistuned bladed disk; in the region of frequency veering, the degree of vibration localization of the mistuned bladed disk is relatively high; along with the changes of the frequency veering distance, the contribution degree of the strain energy of the blades of localization of the mistuned bladed disk shows the certainty of regularity.
Securing Cloud Emails Using Two Factor Authentication Based on Password/Apps in Cloud Computing
Kayigana Virgile,Huiqun Yu 보안공학연구지원센터 2015 International Journal of Security and Its Applicat Vol.9 No.3
Cloud computing has been extending extensively, involving multiple users on the service it provides. Cloud based email is one of services provided by cloud computing with number of users expanding on yearly basis. Cloud computing faces concerning problem of security and privacy mainly based on its working environment. Identity authentication is one reliable method in cloud environment to identify users requesting for cloud services, currently user authentication in cloud computing is based on the credentials possessed by the user mostly username & password. However, this method has vulnerability of being compromised by illegitimate users when users’ passwords have been revealed or cracked. The paper proposes a more secure structure, i.e the two-factor authentication which authenticates by requiring the username/password pair also needs a second factor to completely grant access. The second factor is App stored in users’ smart devices. Username & password/Apps method will continue to allow users to set up passwords for their accounts, it will make a random compulsory code to be entered through App on smart phone devices hence keep privacy of cloud emails. Testing has been done with help of Python program environment. Comparing to recent related proposed schemes, our proposed scheme has advantage of high unbreakable security feature with low implement cost.

Building applications on on-demand infrastructures instead of building applications on fixed and rigid infrastructures was provided by cloud computing providers. By simply positing into the cloud, it gains fast access to business applications or infrastructure resources with reduced Capital Expenditures (CAPEX). Dramatic increase in amount of information’s are placed into the cloud by individuals and industries, security issues are vital concern in mobile computing (MCC) and impends fast deployment of applications on the cloud. This work discus the different security issues that arises about how safe the mobile cloud computing environment is and provides a unified reliable security mechanism. There are two different types of the cloud users are: On-demand and Optimistic. On-demand is a non-preemptible for flexible leases given a user accessing to the resources within an interactive time of making the request and makes the resources available for an agreed-upon period of time, user can deploy any virtual machine (VM) compatible with the system. Optimistic is preemptible and pre-set contract gives a user access to resources at an indeterminate time and make resources available to the user for an insufficient amount of time. After that, this resources are initially (pre)-defined for the user by the cloud admin, that is the user cannot provide his or her own virtual machine (VM) based on defined access control for security.
Transcription factor Sp1 is necessary and functional in regulating expression of oncogene ZNF703

Zinc finger protein 703 (ZNF703) is a putative oncogene in patients with the luminal B molecular subtype of breast cancer. Although the exact function of ZNF703 protein remains largely unknown, its expression and regulation have been implicated in several physiological and pathological processes. In the current study, for the first time, we identified and characterized the human ZNF703 gene promoter region. As a means of characterizing the transcription elements required for expression of ZNF703 protein at different stages, we cloned the promoter region of ZNF703 then created chimeric reporter plasmids for use in luciferase assays. A progressive deletion analysis of the ZNF703 gene’s 5′ and 3′ -flanking regions revealed that the core promoter is located in a 256-bp region ranging from nt-539 to nt-283. Next, we examined the effects of sitespecific mutations and treatment with mithramycin A to identify the functional Sp1 binding site, which was found to be located in a 447 bp region that ranged from nt-509 to nt-76, displayed the characteristics of a CpG island, and overlapped with the promoter region. In conclusion, our data suggest that ZNF703 transcription is regulated by transcription factor Sp1. This finding should facilitate future studies of the mechanism which regulates expression of this important gene.
