      • Cycle-Based 시뮬레이션 기법을 이용한 고장 시뮬레이터 구현

        As IC design size increases, handling events generated by every gate evaluation in traditional event-driven simulation techniques have been more time-consuming. This complexity is same for fault simulation. In this thesis, we present a new fault simulation technique that uses cycle-based simulation concepts. This new fault simulator has been implemented by using cycle-based simulation techniques. Implemented fault simulator uses techniques that propagate single fault to a stem and gather propagated faults on the stem to make a packet of multiple faults. This packet is propagated from the stem to a primary output by evaluating gates in levelized order. Experiments have been performed on the ISCAS85 benchmark circuits to show efficiency of the implemented fault simulator. Experimental results show that our simulator runs 3.3 to 22.9 times faster than fault simulator using traditional event-driven simulation techniques.

      • Digital 方式에 의한 直流電動機의 速度制御에 관한 硏究

        1. Object and Importance for Study In various industrial process controls it is often necessary to be able to adjust a DC motor's speed over a wide range with good speed resolution and reproducibility. Conventional analog control methods suffer on several accounts, including nonlinearlity in the analog speed transducer and difficulty in accurately transmitting the analog signal after it has been obtained from the transducer. Also, while manipulating the signal to effect control action on the motor, errors are incurred which are related to temperature, component aging, and extraneous disturbances. A digital speed control system is superior in that there is no nonlinearity in the speed transducer, the digital signal representing speed can be transmitted long distances with no degradation of the original accuracy, and the digitally developed control signal is not subject to temperature variations, component changes, or noise. There were a few papers on the study of digital methods for DC motor speed control in foreign countries, but no papers available in our country until we started to take this thesis. Hence, in this paper a digital method for DC motor speed control is proposed, and is to be tested through experiment for the performance of the proposed system. 2.Contents of Study A digital method for DC motor speed control is proposed. 3 phase SCR rectifier circuit can be phase-controlled by using the principle of digital phase shift generator, and six magnitude comparators provide proper firing pulse trains for SCRS. An arc-cosine conversion is performed by using PROM to improve linearity of the relationship between applied cosine wave and firing angle. In order to give amount of feedback digital signal by comparing and detecting the difference between reference speed and motor speed, there is provided with a speed control part which includes subtractor, adder, and etc. Through experiment we confirmed that the digital control system had no influnce of errors by noise and offset voltage, and that the simplification of SCR firing pulse synchronization for 3 phase supply voltage waveforms was obtained by six magnitude comparators and the linearity for the relationship between reference speed and motor speed was greatly improved. 3. Results of Study As a digital speed control method which provides the advantages of freedom from drift and offset errors, immunity of the control circuit from transients and distortion of supply voltage, a digital control method which uses the principle of digital phase shift generator is proposed. In addition, phase locked loop(PLL) control is provided which permits speed control with high degree of precision. Conclusions are as follows; (1) There phase SCR rectifier circuit can be phase-controlled by using the principle of digital phase shift generator. (2) An arc-cosine conversion by using PROM greatly improves the linearity of the relationship between firing angle and motor speed, and hence, motor speed can be controlled accurately. (3) By adding the speed control part as shown in Fig.9 to the system, motor speed follows accurately reference speed as shown in Fig.14. (4) By adding to the output side of the phase shift generator six magnitude comparators, each output of which has phase difference of sixty degrees. And so, there needs synchronization of firing pulses only for a single phase cosine voltage wave instead of synchronizations for three phase cosine voltage waves, that is, simplification of synchronization is obtained. (5) The principle of this control system can be extended to higher horse-power drives or to other phase-controlled converter circuits.

        아위버섯(Pleurotus ferulea) 추출물의 생리활성 탐색

        본 연구에서는 아위버섯의 생리활성 기능 규명을 목적으로 하였다. 사람의 뇌세포에서의 아세틸콜린분해효소 억제효과는 25~35%의 경향을 보여 치매 예방 및 개선제로서의 가능성을 보였다. 유해산소 제거기능은 35~36%로 높아 항암, 노화, 심장병 등에 좋은 효과를 나타낼 수 있을 것으로 생각되어진다. 간섬유화(collagen type-Ⅰ) 억제는 3~12%의 저해효과를 보였다. 그러나 아위버섯은 3~8%의 포도당 흡수억제를 나타내어 당뇨와 비만억제에 큰 효과를 보이지 않았으며, 위암과 대장암에 대한 항암효과도 거의 나타나지 않았다. 따라서 향후 아위버섯 추출물 특히, K8종에서 나타난 다양한 생리활성효과를 이용하여 고부가가치의 다양한 기능성제품이 가능할 것으로 판단된다. This study was performed to screen the biological activities of Pleurotus ferulea (K5 and K8 strains). The cap of K5 strain is well developed than stalk, and vice versa in K8. The ethanol extract of Pleurotus ferulea exhibited significant free radical scavenging activity (35~36%), suggesting possible effect on many degenerative diseases originated from the reaction of oxygen species. Acetylcholinesterase inhibitor is proven to be the most effective factor for Alzheimer disease induction, and ethanol extract of Pleurotus ferulea significantly inhibited acetylcholinesterase activity (25~35%) in vitro. Moreover, ethanol extract of Pleurotus ferulea suppressed liver fibrosis by 3~12% in vitro. However, Pleurotus ferulea failed to inhibit glucose uptake in human intestinal cell line. Viability of gastric and colon cancer cells was also not affected by Pleurotus ferulea extract. In conclusion, Pleurotus ferulea exhibited significant effect on free radical scavenging, acetylcholinesterase inhibiton and brain cell protection. However, Pleurotus ferulea failed to affect glucose uptake, and cytotoxicity of gastric and cancer cells. In general, K8 revealed more significant effects than K5.

        정-정맥 체외막형산소화요법을 이용한 급성호흡부전의 치료

        Background: Extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) during severe acute respiratory failure helps to recover the pulmonary function. This study evaluated our experience with veno-venous ECMO in adult patients with acute respiratory failure. Methods: From January 2007 to July 2009, ECMO was used on 54 patients. Of these 54 patients, 7 were placed on veno-venous ECMO for acute respiratory failure. The indications of ECMO were based on the lung dysfunction measured as a PaO2/FiO2 ratio <100 mm Hg on FiO2 of 1.0, or an arterial blood gas pH <7.25 due to hypercapnia despite the optimal treatment. EBS(R), Bio-pump(R), and Centrifugal Rotaflow pump(R) were used and all cannulations were performed percutaneously via both femoral veins. When the lung function was improved, an attempt was made to wean on ECMO at moderate ventilator settings followed by decannulation. Results: Five of the 7 patients were male and the mean age was 46.3±18.3. The causes of acute respiratory failure were 3 cases of pneumonia, 2 near-drownings, 1 pulmonary hemorrhage due to acute hepatic failure and 1 mercury vapor poisoning. The mean support time of ECMO was 17.3±13.7 days. Of the 7 patients implanted with ECMO, 5 patients (71%) were weaned off ECMO and 3 patients (43%) survived to hospital discharge after a mean 89.6 hospital days. Conclusion: The early use of ECMO for acute respiratory failure in adults due to any cause is a good therapeutic option for those unresponsive to the optimal conventional treatments.

        증례 : 신장 ; 신이식 후 거대세포바이러스 감염을 동반한 감염성 심내막염 1예

        저자들은 신장이식 후 면역억제제를 지속적으로 사용하는 환자에서 거대세포바이러스 감염과 함께 병발한 아스페르길루스 심내막염 1예를 경험하였다. 최근 면역억제제 사용이 증가하면서 면역 저하와 함께 기회 감염의 빈도도 증가하고 있으며 특히 거대세포바이러스 감염을 동반할 경우 면역 억제의 정도가 심해지면서 그 빈도가 더욱 증가할 것으로 생각된다. 특히 아스페르길루스와 같은 진균 감염의 경우 혈액배양 검사에서 동정될 확률이 낮고 치료 시기를 놓칠 경우 사망률이 높음으로 기회 감염에 대한 혈청학적 검사가 진단 및 치료에 중요한 단서가 될 수 있다. Advances in immunosuppressive therapy have increased the survival of kidney transplant recipients, yet suppression of the immune system after transplantation can promote infectious complications. Cytomegalovirus (CMV) infection remains one of the most important complications following kidney transplantation and it is a risk factor for developing superinfections with other organisms. Aspergillus endocarditis is a rare life-threatening complication in kidney transplantation. Coinfection of CMV and Aspergillus endocarditis is rare worldwide and has not been reported in Korea. We report a case of Aspergillus endocarditis that developed in a patient with CMV infection after kidney transplantation. His clinical condition did not improve despite mitral valve replacement and empirical antibiotic treatment, but he was eventually treated successfully with antifungal agents for 6 weeks.         증례 : 순환기 ; 급성심근경색증으로 체외막산소화장치 치료 중 Futhan을 사용한 예

        체외막산소화장치를 사용하는 경우 항응고제의 사용은 필수적이며, 그 동안 헤파린이 널리 사용되어 왔다. 하지만 헤파린은 출혈 위험성을 증가시키며, 이로 인해 중대한 합병증이 발생할 수 있다. 이 증례에서 저자들은 심인성 쇼크를 동반한 급성 심근경색증 환자에서 체외막산소화장치의 항응고제로 nafamostate mesilate를 사용하였다. 항응고제로 nafamostat mesilate만 사용한 기간에는 nafamostat mesilate를 평균 2.64±1.11 mg/kg/hr의 속도로 투여하여 ACT를 평균 128.68±21.25초로 유지하였고, 헤파린을 함께 사용한 기간에는 nafamostat mesilate를 1.17±0.34 mg/kg/hr, 헤파린을 3.83f±1.0 Unit/kg/hr의 속도로 투여하여 ACT는 평균 140.2±14.47초로 유지하였다. 기존의 헤파린을 항응고제로 사용한 환자들과 비교하였을 때, 사용된 oxygenator 갯수와 수혈량이 모두 적었다. 저자들은 체외막산소화장치의 항응고제로 nafamostate mesilate를 사용하여 출혈에 의한 합병증이나 oxygenator의 교환없이 성공적으로 치료된 예를 경험하여 이를 보고한다. It is essential during extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) to extend the activated clotting time (ACT) using anticoagulants to prevent blood clot formation. Traditionally, heparin has been used as an anticoagulant during ECMO. Hemorrhaging due to systemic heparinization is considered a major complication of ECMO. A 48-year-old man was admitted due to cardiogenic shock with acute myocardial infarction. ECMO was instituted because of recurrent ventricular tachycardia and refractory shock. We used nafamostat mesilate (Futhan) as an anticoagulant to reduce hemorrhagic complications. The total bypass time was 153 h. The average dose of nafamostat mesilate was 2.64±1.11 mg/kg/h; the average ACT was 128.68±21.24 seconds. Only a few units were transfused, and there was no oxygenator failure or hemorrhagic complications. Thus, nafamostat mesilate may reduce the need for transfusions and hemorrhagic complications during ECMO. (Korean J Med 79:181-186, 2010)
