        선협(仙俠)의 위상변화와 확장적 스토리텔링 전략 ― 세계 창조 기술로서의 선협

        In the context of industrial geography and related discourse of media contents in recent China, Xianxia appears to have achieved a significant promotion of its status and recognition. Establishing its position in terms of production and consumption volume, Xianxia also acquired the value as ‘the carrier of Chinese culture’ through official and direct connection with traditional Chinese culture. This trend allows Xianxia some advantages for expanded storytelling within the industrial value chain. This becomes possible with the fact that Xianxia is securing an increasingly abundant narrative source and reference system, and that it is highly viable in the specific political, social, and cultural discourse environment of modern China, In the other hand, Xianxia includes storytelling grammar which is broadly accepted in the global content market. These advantages provide favorable conditions for Xianxia contents to use more extended storytelling strategies within the IP(Intellectual property) industry value chain. As in the case of the MoDaoZuShi, Xianxia is gradually becoming a technique for world creation.

        Post-Chlorination Process Control based on Flow Prediction by Time Series Neural Network in Water Treatment Plant

        It is very important to maintain a constant chlorine concentration in the post chlorination process, which is the final step in the water treatment process (hereafter WTP) before servicing water to citizens. Even though a flow meter between the filtration basin and clear well must be installed for the post chlorination process, it is not easy to install owing to poor installation conditions. In such a case, a raw water flow meter has been used as an alternative and has led to dosage errors due to detention time. Therefore, the inlet flow to the clear well is estimated by a time series neural network for the plant without a measurement value, a new residual chlorine meter is installed in the inlet of the clear well to decrease the control period, and the proposed modeling and controller to analyze the chlorine concentration change in the well is a neuro fuzzy algorithm and cascade method. The proposed algorithm led to post chlorination and chlorination improvements of 1.75 times and 1.96 times respectively when it was applied to an operating WTP. As a result, a hygienically safer drinking water is supplied with preemptive response for the time delay and inherent characteristics of the disinfection process.

      • Compensation Structure of Family Business Groups

        This study examines the compensation structure in Korea, where CEO compensation has been mandated to disclose as public information since 2013, focusing on family CEOs of business group (chaebols). We find that total CEO compensation level is indifferent between chaebol and non-chaebol firms but chaebol firms provide compensation mix with less proportion of bonus. Also, while non-chaebol firms set performance-contingent CEO compensation, chaebol firms do not. Furthermore, among the chaebol firms, family CEOs receive more total compensation than non-family CEOs, but the bonus level is similar to the non-family CEOs’. Despite the high total compensation level of family CEOs, firms with family CEOs show lower profitability than industry-average. It implies rent extraction through compensation by controlling families in Korean business groups.

      • A Study on Production Methods of Stereographic Images Use of Motion Graphics

        The field of stereographic image has reached to a point where it could be viewed through a digital TV or a monitor without separate devices through the process of numerous evolutions from the former red and blue glasses method through rapid development of multimedia technology. Human eyes receive visual information on the object through left and right eyes and these are made to perceive the object in three-dimensions through the brain. Therefore, since the image contents that we see are different from the information of the object that os perceived through the human eyes, there always been a constant demand for more natural and realistic image contents as seeing the object through the real eyes. The stereographic images are replacing the former 2-dimensional images based on the next generation multimedia environment providing incomparable power of information transfer and sense of reality throughout each area of information communication, broadcasting, medical service, education, military purpose, game, animation, virtual reality, CAD, and industrial technology. In response to these social demands, a need to understand the stereographic image production system and study production method has become crucial. The objective background of this study is to give support as foundation information in the stereographic image production using motion graphics in the future by studying reasonable stereofraphic motion graphics based on the problems and limitations discovered from conducting a project with Kwangnwoon University from March to May of this year from my company, MEMOS Pictures Co.,Ltd., which is a multimedia image contents production company, on stereographic promotion image and 3-dimensional education contents production. For study method and procedures, reference research for studying its theoretical background and step by step analysis of the production process of stereographic motion graphic contents were conducted to find the problems and limitations. Hence as a means of increasing the level of satisfaction and fulfilling emotions of consumer's demand from the current 2D based image contents, the possibility of using motion graphics in the process of trans ferring stereographic image contents was studied and a production technique for expressing the sense of reality and existence more efficiently was suggested. Especially, this study is significant in the aspect that, considering most stereographic images of the past and present are 3D graphic oriented animation and 3D films, this study tried to suggest a possibility of producing motion graphics produced using 3D graphics and typography into a stereographic image.

        Comparison the Mapping Accuracy of Construction Sites Using UAVs with Low-Cost Cameras

        The advent of a fourth industrial revolution, built on advances in digital technology, has coincided with studies using various unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) being performed worldwide. However, the accuracy of different sensors and their suitability for particular research studies are factors that need to be carefully evaluated. In this study, we evaluated UAV photogrammetry using smart technology. To assess the performance of digital photogrammetry, the accuracy of common procedures for generating orthomosaic images and digital surface models (DSMs) using terrestrial laser scanning (TLS) techniques was measured. Two different type of non-surveying camera(Smartphone camera, fisheye camera) were attached to UAV platform. For fisheye camera, lens distortion was corrected by considering characteristics of lens. Accuracy of orthoimage and DSM generated were comparatively analyzed using aerial and TLS data. Accuracy comparison analysis proceeded as follows. First, we used Ortho mosaic image to compare the check point with a certain area. In addition, vertical errors of camera DSM were compared and analyzed based on TLS. In this study, we propose and evaluate the feasibility of UAV photogrammetry which can acquire 3 - D spatial information at low cost in a construction site.

        Study on CH4 dry reforming process by high power inductively coupled plasma torch at atmospheric pressure

        CO2 dissociation and CH4 dry reforming, by high power inductively coupled plasma (ICP) torch at atmospheric pressure, have been studied. At a frequency of 400 kHz and power of 30 kW, the ICP torch source dissociates CO2 gas directly, causing CH4 dry reforming. The resulting products are composed of syngas, C2H6, C2H4, and C2H2. The results show conversion efficiencies (CE) for both CO2 and CH4 of 95%. At an input power of 22 kW, a CO2 flow rate of 30 SLM, and a CH4 flow rate of 36 SLM, the energy conversion efficiency (ECE) is 57%. As input CH4 flow rate increases, the selectivity of CO and H2 decreases and that of C2 hydrocarbons increases. In this condition, ECE increases. As a result, the high CE of CO2 and CH4, the large amount of products, and the high selectivity of C2 hydrocarbons can be seen as important factors for achieving higher energy conversion efficiency in the CH4 dry reforming process. The associated chemical reactions are simulated using CHEMKIN-PRO tool, and the results illustrate the tendency of CE to vary with variations in selected parameters, and syngas and C2 hydrocarbons production trends achieved in the simulation agree with experimental resu

        Heterotopic Ossification in the Abdominal Wall after Exploratory Laparotomy

        Heterotopic bone formation in abdominal incisions is a recognized but uncommon sequela of abdominal surgery. On the other hand, the formation of ectopic bone is a well-recognized complication following arthroplasty of the hip. Heterotopic ossification of midline abdominal incision scars is a subtype of myositis ossificans traumatica. Ectopic bone formation of midline abdominal incisions may cause regional pain or discomfort in the patient after surgery. If symptomatic, treatment is complete excision with primary closure. Radiologically, it is important to distinguish this benign entity from postoperative complications. We report a 69-year-old male who underwent exploratory laparotomy for traumatic small bowel perforation. A segment of abnormal hard tissue was found in the abdominal wall. Heterotopic ossification may occur at various sites and is a recognized but infrequent sequela of exploratory laparotomy. This case highlights clinical and etiological features of this finding.
