        새로운 정합 알고리즘을 이용한 손가락 정맥 인식 방법

        이 논문에서 손가락 정맥영상에 대한 새로운 인식 방법을 제시한다. 손가락 정맥인식은 대중적으로 사용되고 있는 지문인식의 위조가능성을 배제할 수 있고, 홍채인식의 불편한 영상획득 방식을 피할수 있는 좋은 개인 인증 방편으로 주목 받고 있다. 손가락 정맥영상을 지역적 히스토그램 균등화에 의하여 전처리하고, 이것을 세선화 처리하여 선 형태의 정맥을 얻는다. 이렇게 얻어진 선 형태의 정맥선 영상에 HS정합 알고리즘(HeeSung's Matching Algorithm)이라고 명명된 새로운 정합 알고리즘을 적용하여 정맥의 정합 여부를 가린다. 이 새로운 정합 알고리즘은 세선화나 에지 검출 처리한 여러 가지 선 모양의 영상인식에 좋은 효과를 보이고 있다. 개인당 5편씩 총 130명분 650편의 손가락 영상에 대한 인식실험 결과 99.20%의 인식률을 보였다. 한 쌍의 영상 정합처리에 단 60ms 의 처리 속도를 보였다. In this paper, a new method for finger vein recognition is proposed. Researchers are recently interested in the finger vein recognition since it is a good way to avoid the forgery in finger prints recognition and the inconveniences in obtaining images of the iris for iris recognition. The vein images are processed to obtain the line shaped vein images through the local histogram equalization and a thinning process. This thinned vein images are processed for matching, using a new matching algorithm, named HS(HeeSung) matching algorithm. This algorithm yields an excellent recognition rate when it is applied to the curve-linear images processed through a thinning or an edge detection. In our experiment with the finger vein images, the recognition rate has reached up to 99.20% using this algorithm applied to 650finger vein images(130person × 5images each). It takes only about 60 milliseconds to match one pair of images.

        현대목회(기독교)상담 맥락에서 이해하는 한국풍류영성상담의 ‘흔들흔들 기법’과 ‘푹 잠기기 기법’ 연구

        풍류영성상담은 한국전통의 풍류도와 풍류운동 국선도를 바탕으로 고한된 상담이다. 풍류영성상담은 또한 서양이론위주의 상담이론과 실제에 한국적 통찰을 적용하여, 기독교신학적 통찰을 적용하여 고안한 상담이다. 그런데 풍류영성상담이 상담현장에서 대중적으로 활용되기 위해서는 풍류영성상담의 기술이 구체적으로 어떤 것인지에 대한 연구가 필요하다. 이에 본 논문에서는 풍류영성상담의 주요한 기술인‘흔들흔들기법’과‘푹 잠기기 기법’을 연구한다. 특별히 삼위일체 하나님 신학에 근거해 목회상담실제기법을 고안한 닐 펨브로크, 또 관계중심패러다임에 기초해 현대 목회상담실제를 제시한 파멜라 쿠퍼-화이트와의 기법을 비교하여 설명한다. 이 논문은 풍류영성상담의 구체적 기법에 대한 논문으로서 의의를 가진다. Pungryu (Pung-ryu) spiritual counseling is a newly invented counseling based on Korean cultural resources. Pungryu spiritual counseling is derived from Pungryu-do, Korean traditional spirituality in terms of its theory and Kouksundo, Korean traditional exercise in terms of its practice. In addition, Pungryu spiritual counseling is also very Christian because of the Trinitarian implications of Pungryudo and Kouksundo. Since general descriptions of the theory and practice of Pungryu spiritual counseling have been published already in other journals, this article focuses more on the two unique techniques of Pungryu spiritual counseling, ‘soft rocking’ and ‘full submerging’ in comparison with cases of Neil Pembroke and Pamela Cooper-White. The technique of ‘soft rocking’ of Pungryu Spiritual Counseling is a very effective counseling skill that helps to embody certain aspects of the Trinity. This paper examines its outstanding characteristics by making a criticism on Pembroke’s ‘nearness’ and ‘distance.’ Pembroke suggested nearness and distance as pastoral counseling skills that actualize the co-managing the space, the operation of the Trinity. The technique of ‘full submerging’ of Pungryu spiritual counseling also helps to internalize the aspect of the Creator God, the first person of the Trinity. Compared to a counseling case of Cooper-White’s, this paper argues for the strength of full submerging. This study intends to illustrate how to use the two skills in the pastoral counseling context.

        지역축제 서비스품질이 축제인지도와 축제성과에 미치는 영향: 민간주도형 축제를 중심으로

        Purpose - The purpose of this study is to examine the impact of local festival service quality on festival awareness and festival performance. Design, data, and methodology -Based on extensive literature review, four sub-factors of festival service quality were derived: Festival program, festival food/ souvenir, festival promotion/guide, and festival space. Two factors of festival awareness were derived: Differential map and likely recognition. Lastly, social performance and touristic performance were selected as the main factors of festival performance Based on prior research, the hypotheses were established that the quality of the festival service affects the awareness of the festival and the performance of the festival. Data were collected from visitors to Gyejoksan barefoot festival from May 11 to 12, 2019 and a total of 275 samples were used for hypotheses test. Result -The service quality of the Gyejoksan barefoot festival showed a positive impact on festival awareness and festival performance, and that only the "food/souvenir" factor among service quality had a negative impact on discriminatory awareness. Conclusions - By verifying the quality of festival services, the impact relationship between festival awareness and festival performance, the academic value of this research may be granted by re-verifying the results of the relevant prior research or confirming detailed causality.

        텍스트 그래픽 애니메이션 적용에 따른 정보제시양식의 차이가 웹사이트 효과에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

        웹사이트는 컴퓨터와 통신기술의 발전에 힘입어 텍스트와 그래픽 애니메이션 등을 결합한 다양한 정보제시양식을 활용하고 있다. 본 연구는 웹사이트의 정보제시양식의 차이가 시각을 통한 정보의 수용과 저장에 미치는 영향을 설명하고자 기존의 연구들에서 효과를 측정하는 주요 개념이었던 기억에 평가적 감정의 실증적 측정을 추가하였다. 이를 위하여 웹사이트에 대한 기억(회상과 재인)과 평가적 반응(선호와 태도)을 변인으로 설정하고 정보제시양식을 텍스트로만 제시하는 경우 텍스트에 그래픽을 추가한 경우 텍스트와 그래픽을 애니메이션으로 처리한 서로 다른 수준의 실험자극을 마련하여 한 명의 피험자가 3가지 다른 조건의 웹사이트에 배정되고 이 3가지 조건이 실시되는 순서를 각 피험자별로 달리하는 반복 측정설계의 실험연구방법을 실시하였다. 주효과를 검증한 결과 대부분의 변인에 있어 제시양식 간의 차이는 비교적 뚜렷하게 나타났다. 이는 정보제시양식이 웹사이트에서의 정보를 기억하고 평가하는데 중요한 역할을 하고 있음을 나타내는 것이다. Various information presentation modes combining text graphic and animation are used on websites as the development in computer and communication technologies. This study is to examine the effect by the differences in information presentation modes on the reception and the storing of information through the cognitive approach. The empirical measurement of assessing emotions(preference and attitude) is added to the memory(recall and recognition) which has been the major measurement scale of the cognitive effects. The laboratory experiment of repeated design was executed by the different order of three conditions with information presentation mode(text only text with graphic text with graphic in animation) as a treatment variable. Dependent variables included recall and recognition explaining memory in the websites and preference and attitude on assessing emotional response. The differences in information presentation modes affected on the recall and recognition preference and attitude. This study shows that information presentation modes has a significant influence on processing the information on websites.

      • Biomethane Yield of In-situ Codigestion of Sewage Sludge and Food Wastes in South Korea

        This study was to find out optimum methane production from food waste leachate in the in-situ anaerobic digestion of sewage sludge. The 4 facilities for the biogasification of sewage sludge and 8 facilities for co-digestion treating sewage sludge and food wastes were selected as a target for this study. In order to evaluate the operation efficiency, precision investigation (methane yield, organic loading rate, etc) was conducted from January 2015 to June 2016. The characteristics parameters and operating factors of the anaerobic digestion were analyzed and derived including volatile fatty acids (VFAs), chemical oxygen demand (CODcr), nutrients (carbohydrate, fat, protein), total nitrogen (TN), element analysis (C, H, O, N, S), etc. The theoretical methane yield was calculated based on organic constituents (carbohydrate, protein, fat) and based on element analysis. The actual methane yield was investigated based on volatile solids and CODcr. Theoretical methane yield by organic constituents were 0.503 Sm<sup>3</sup>CH<sub>4</sub>/kgVS and 0.350 Sm<sup>3</sup>CH<sub>4</sub>/kgCODcr. Actual methane yield were 0.224 Sm<sup>3</sup>CH<sub>4</sub>/kgVS and 0.171 Sm<sup>3</sup>CH<sub>4</sub>/kgCODcr. Considering the average removal efficiency of organic materials of 12 biogasification facilities, actual methane yield were 0.405 Sm<sup>3</sup>CH<sub>4</sub>/kgVS and 0.352 Sm<sup>3</sup>CH<sub>4</sub>/kgCODcr. Combined anaerobic digestion showed steady operation conditions and high efficiency of methane yield by additional injecting food waste (leachate) into the anaerobic digester and met the current criteria sufficiently in South Korea.

        Large enhancement of the photocurrent density in N‑doped Cu3N films through bandgap reduction

        Copper nitride ( Cu3N) has attracted wide attention for solar energy conversion applications owing to suitable Eg of 1.6–1.9 eV, non-toxicity, and possibility to fabricate homojunction solar cells. The Cu3N has a body-centered site of anti-ReO3 structure, which can be easily occupied by transition metals. Hence, many studies on the band gap tuning of Cu3N have been conducted with doping of various elements. However, N-doped Cu3N film has not been reported experimentally yet although it was theoretically predicted to have very stable doping and new partially filled narrow band gap. Herein, via systematically controlling the nitrogen partial pressure (R = N2/N2 + Ar), we successfully fabricated N-doped Cu3N film using reactive RF sputtering. The N-doped Cu3N film (only specific R = 0.5) exhibits significantly reduced optical bandgap (1.1 eV) and improved photocurrent density (1.66 mA/cm2 at 10 V) compared with that of pristine Cu3N film.

        Genetic Outlier Detection for a Robust Support Vector Machine

        Support vector machine (SVM) has a strong theoretical foundation and also achieved excellent empirical success. It has been widely used in a variety of pattern recognition applications. Unfortunately, SVM also has the drawback that it is sensitive to outliers and its performance is degraded by their presence. In this paper, a new outlier detection method based on genetic algorithm (GA) is proposed for a robust SVM. The proposed method parallels the GA-based feature selection method and removes the outliers that would be considered as support vectors by the previous soft margin SVM. The proposed algorithm is applied to various data sets in the UCI repository to demonstrate its performance.

        A Symbiotic Evolutionary Design of Error-Correcting Code with Minimal Power Consumption

        In this paper, a new design for an error correcting code (ECC) is proposed. The design is aimed to build an ECC circuitry with minimal power consumption. The genetic algorithm equipped with the symbiotic mechanism is used to design a power-efficient ECC which provides single-error correction and double-error detection (SEC-DED). We formulate the selection of the parity check matrix into a collection of individual and specialized optimization problems and propose a symbiotic evolution method to search for an ECC with minimal power consumption. Finally, we conduct simulations to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.

      • Camera Calibration using the TSK fuzzy system

        Camera calibration in machine vision is the process of determining the intrinsic cameara parameters and the three-dimensional (3D) position and orientation of the camera frame relative to a certain world coordinate system. On the other hand, Takagi-Sugeno-Kang (TSK) fuzzy system is a very popular fuzzy system and approximates any nonlinear function to arbitrary accuracy with only a small number of fuzzy rules. It demonstrates not only nonlinear behavior but also transparent structure. In this paper, we present a novel and simple technique for camera calibration for machine vision using TSK fuzzy model. The proposed method divides the world into some regions according to camera view and uses the clustered 3D geometric knowledge. TSK fuzzy system is employed to estimate the camera parameters by combining partial information into complete 3D information. The experiments are performed to verify the proposed camera calibration.

        Cephalic Index of Korean Children With Normal Brain Development During the First 7 Years of Life Based on Computed Tomography

        Objective To identify the normal range, distribution, and age-dependent differences in the cephalic index (CI) of Korean children with normal brain development and develop a classification of the current CI for Korean children up to 7 years of age. Methods We retrospectively analyzed 1,389 children who visited our hospital in the emergency room between October 2015 and September 2020 because of suspected head injuries. Finally, 1,248 children (741 male and 507 female) were enrolled after excluding abnormal medical or familial history and divided into 10 groups by age. The CI was measured using brain computed tomography and calculated according to the following equation: cephalic width/cephalic length×100. Results The averages of CI by age groups were as follows: 89.29 (0–3 months group, n=44); 91.41 (4–6 months group, n=63); 89.68 (7–9 months group, n=62); 87.52 (10–12 months group, n=41); 87.64 (≥2 years group, n=243); 86.63 (≥3 years group, n=178); 85.62 (≥4 years group, n=232); 85.77 (≥5 years group, n=201); 85.15 (≥6 years group, n=75); and 85.34 (≥7 years group, n=109). The CI of Korean children in normal brain development was confirmed to be large, showing a notable difference compared to that of Caucasians. Conclusion The current CI of Korean children will provide a valuable reference for diagnosing and treating cranial deformities, especially dolichocephaly and brachycephaly as well as to monitor the morphology of the cranium in clinics.
