      • Research on the construction of innovation and entrepreneurship education system in Chinese local universities

        The innovation and entrepreneurship education system in colleges and universities is a guiding channel to strengthen the innovation ability of talents and to expand their employment scope. It has the characteristics of diversity, innovation and adaptability. Based on this, taking local colleges and universities in China as an example, this article summarizes the current situation of the construction of innovation and entrepreneurship education system, and puts forward relevant suggestions for the practices of system promotion, so as to bring the advantages of the system into full play and realize the comprehensive utilization of talents in colleges and universities.

        Paired-Associate Second Language Vocabulary Learning: The Role of L1 Translation Familiarity

        First language (L1) use has always been a subject of debate in second language (L2) vocabulary learning, generating two main research lines. The first line concerns whether L1 use is advisable, and the second relates to how its use can be more beneficial. The current study contributes to the latter strand by probing the effect L1 familiarity had on L2 vocabulary gains using paired-associate learning paradigm. Two groups of English as a foreign language (EFL) learners with comparable L2 proficiency were recruited to learn three L2 word sets varying in L1 familiarity status (high/low), and accordingly three conditions were created (High: all L2 words with high L1 familiarity; Low: all low; Mixed: half high and half low). In the treatment session, both groups of participants studied each set separately, while made aware of, and then completing one of the two tests differing in depth of processing (either meaning recognition or meaning recall). At the testing phase, an unannounced one- week delayed posttest which measured meaning recognition was administered to both groups to examine the retention of vocabulary knowledge. The results showed that similar patterns were observed across two groups, such that High displayed an advantage over Low and Mixed did not exhibit striking differences compared to High. Additionally, recall group outperformed recognition group on all word sets. Therefore, our findings offer direct experimental support to the principle of learning burden (Nation, 1990, 2013), and highlight both the importance and the complexity of L1 familiarity. We conclude with pedagogical implications in relation to those findings.

        Pelletized SiO2-supported La0.5Ba0.5FeO3 for conversion of CO2 to CO by a reverse water-gas shift chemical looping process

        Perovskite oxides, such as La0.5Ba0.5FeO3 (LBF), are promising materials for converting CO2 to CO throughlow-temperature reverse water–gas shift chemical looping (RWGS-CL). To transition toward industrialization,this study focused on forming perovskite-oxide/silica composite pellets (25 wt% LBF) with sufficientlyhigh crushing strength, with materials prepared by extrusion and tableting methods. X-rayfluorescence (XRF) and diffraction (XRD) confirmed that the resulting material is 26.6 wt% LBF on SiO2with a combined structure of LBF and SiO2 components. Temperature-programmed reduction (TPR)and oxidation (TPO) experiments revealed that CO2 is converted to CO at 550 C by LBF/SiO2 pellets,higher than LBF by 50 C. CO2 chemisorption was determined to be 62.2 lmol/gLBF. DRIFTS-MS experimentsconfirmed that adsorbed CO2 is dissociated to CO. High material stability is proven by longtermRWGL-CL experiments combined with XRD and XPS. The CO2 to CO yields were 2.21, 2.41, and2.35 mmol/gLBF of 10 mm tableting pellets, 6 mm tableting pellets, and extrusion pellets, respectively. Deactivated pellets are able to be regenerated by air thermal treatment following intentional reduction. All pellets showed stable redox properties in 50 cycles of semi-batch reactor experiments, indicating thatLBF/SiO2 pellets are candidate materials for further scale-up evaluation.

        중국 태족 상각고의 전통체육 문화사상과 발전 과정 연구

        본 연구는 중국 태족 상각고에 내재된 특성과 가치 등을 파악하고, 이를 통해 스포츠 문화 콘텐츠로 개발하여 지역활성화를 위한 실천 방안을 모색하는 데 목적이 있다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 태족 상각고 문화는태족 사회 발전의 결과로써, 민족 생존의 필요, 전쟁 및 종교의 영향, 민족숭배, 정신과 오락의 생활수요, 문화교류의수요 등을 포함한다. 이에 따라 태족상 각고의 기원 및 과정 분석은 자연요인, 사회요인, 문화요인 등 세 가지 측면으로각각 분류되었다. 둘째, 태족 상각고의 미적 특징으로는 조형미와 동적미로 도출되었다. 상각고의 미적 특징은 정적인모습뿐만 아니라 역동성을 포함하고 있는 것으로 나타났다, 또한, 태족 상각고 문화의 가치로는 체력향상을 통한건강증진, 레저‧오락 기능, 교육 기능, 민족 정체성 함양으로 도출되었다. 셋째, 태족 상각고 문화의 발전 방안으로는보존과 전승, 관련 정책 및 법규 제정, 태족 상각고 컨텐츠 발굴 및 개발, 홍보 강화가 필요한 것으로 나타났다 The purpose of this study is to identify the characteristics and values inherent in China s Taijok amortization high school, and to develop it as a sports culture content through this and to find an action plan for regional revitalization. The results of this study are as follows. First, as a result of the development of the Tai tribe society, the culture of high ethnicity includes the necessity of national survival, the influence of war and religion, the worship of the nation, the demand for spiritual and entertainment life, and the demand for cultural exchange. Accordingly, the analysis of the origin and process of the pedigree was divided into three aspects: natural factors, social factors, and cultural factors. Second, as the aesthetic characteristics of the high stature, the formative beauty and dynamic beauty were derived. It was found that the aesthetic characteristics of amortization high school include not only static appearance but also dynamism. In addition, as the value of the Taejoong high school culture, health promotion through physical fitness improvement, leisure and entertainment function, educational function, and national identity cultivation were derived. became Third, it was found that preservation and transmission, enactment of related policies and regulations, discovery and development of contents of the high family amortization high school, and reinforcement of publicity were necessary for the development of the high family amortization culture.

      • The genome of the mesopolyploid crop species Brassica rapa

        We report the annotation and analysis of the draft genome sequence of Brassica rapa accession Chiifu-401-42, a Chinese cabbage. We modeled 41,174 protein coding genes in the B. rapa genome, which has undergone genome triplication. We used Arabidopsis thaliana as an outgroup for investigating the consequences of genome triplication, such as structural and functional evolution. The extent of gene loss (fractionation) among triplicated genome segments varies, with one of the three copies consistently retaining a disproportionately large fraction of the genes expected to have been present in its ancestor. Variation in the number of members of gene families present in the genome may contribute to the remarkable morphological plasticity of Brassica species. The B. rapa genome sequence provides an important resource for studying the evolution of polyploid genomes and underpins the genetic improvement of Brassica oil and vegetable crops.

        Hair follicle development and related gene and protein expression of skins in Rex rabbits during the first 8 weeks of life

        Objective: We aimed to observe hair follicle (HF) development in the dorsal skin and elucidate the expression patterns of genes and proteins related to skin and HF development in Rex rabbits from birth to 8 weeks of age. Methods: Whole-skin samples were obtained from the backs of Rex rabbits at 0, 2, 4, 6, and 8 weeks of age, the morphological development of primary and secondary HFs was observed, and the gene transcript levels of insulin-like growth factor-I (IGF-I), epidermal growth factor (EGF), bone morphogenetic protein 2 (BMP2), transforming growth factor β-1, 2, and 3 (TGFβ-1, TGFβ-2, and TGFβ-3) were examined using quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction (PCR). Additionally, Wnt family member 10b (Wnt10b) and β-Catenin gene and protein expression were examined by quantitative real-time PCR and western blot, respectively. Results: The results showed significant changes in the differentiation of primary and secondary HFs in Rex rabbits during their first 8 weeks of life. The IGF-I, EGF, TGFβ-2, and TGFβ-3 transcript levels in the rabbits were significantly lower at 2 weeks of age than at birth and gradually increased thereafter, while the BMP2 and TGFβ-1 transcript levels at 2 weeks of age were significantly higher than those at birth and gradually decreased thereafter. β-Catenin gene expression was also significantly affected by age, while the Wnt10b transcript level was not. However, the Wnt10b and β-catenin protein expression levels were the lowest at 2 and 4 weeks of age. Conclusion: Our data showed that a series of changes in HFs in dorsal skin occurred during the first 8 weeks. Many genes, such as IGF-I, EGF, BMP2, TGFβ-1, TGFβ-2, TGFβ-3, and β-Catenin, participated in this process, and the related proteins Wnt10b and β-Catenin in skin were also affected by age.
