The averaging pitot tube or annubar is widely employed to measure the flow rate of the pollutants discharged from the chimney in many industrial situations. Accurate monitoring of the amount of the discharged pollutants necessitates the annubar calibration, which is usually performed in wind tunnels and the calibration conditions are dependent on the size of the wind tunnel test section. However, there are many situations where annubars are larger than the typical size of wind tunnel test sections. In the present study, a new technique using partial blockage was proposed, enabling calibrations of large annubars in various configurations. The results demonstrated favorable agreements with the original annubar coefficients.

최근 의사결정 지원시스템 은 컴퓨터 과학 분야에서 신속히 발전하고 있는 영역이다. 의사결정 지원시스템은 기업관리, 금융, 일기예측, 지진예측 등 많은 분야에서 활용되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 의사결정 지원시스템의 기본적인 구조를 설명하고, 농업분야에서의 필요성과 응용, 농업분야 의사결정 지원시스템 의 특징에 대하여 제시하였다. 또한 현재 농업용 의사결정 지원시스템의 취약점에 대해 논의하고 개선방향을 제안하였다.

In this study, a series of hydraulic experiments are conducted to measure wave pressure on vertical structures with incident solitary waves that well represent characteristics of tsunamis. The pressure transducers measure time histories of wave pressure according to wave height to see pressure distribution. The force of incident solitary wave is estimated from integrated pressure distributions and represented with square and cylindrical columns. Experimental measurements are compared with the predictions of existing empirical formulas frequently used to design of coastal structures. 본 연구는 고립파를 이용하여 수중에 설치된 연직구조물에 작용하는 지진해일 파력 측정 수리실험을 수행하였다. 다수의 파압계를 이용하여 구조물에 작용하는 파압분포를 측정하였고 측정된 파압분포를 통해 파력을 산출하였다. 측정된 실험결과를 바탕으로 해안구조물 설계에 사용되는 파압예측 경험식과 비교하였고 구조물 단면현상에 따라 파압분포의 차이를 분석하였다. 또한, 구조물 전 후면에서 파고측정을 통해 입사파와 투과파를 비교하였으며 구조물의 형상이 파고변화에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다.
Improvement of Beam-Quality Evaluation Method for Medical Linear Accelerator Using Magnetic Field

Beam-quality of medical linac evaluations vary by diverse factors. Because conventional beam-quality evaluation methods yield fragmentary results, a new beam-evaluation method is suggested, and its feasibility is evaluated. The PDDs (percentage depth doses) of 6 MV (Mega-voltage) and 10 MV photon, R (Range) of a 6 MeV (Mega Electron-voltage) and 9 MeV electron were measured and compared with the conventional evaluation methods, and the improved methods PDD<SUP>10</SUP>5, PDD<SUP>20</SUP>10, PDD<SUP>30</SUP>20, PDD<SUP>20</SUP> 5, PDD<SUP>30</SUP> 10, and R<SUP>70</SUP> 50, R<SUP>50</SUP> 30, R<SUP>70</SUP>30 as the magnetic field of the bending magnet was changed to +2% to ?2%, and the results were compared. The comparison showed that the improved methods exhibit a higher discrimination than the conventional methods in each energy regime. PDD<SUP>10</SUP>5, PDD<SUP>30</SUP>20, PDD<SUP>30</SUP>10 and R<SUP>70</SUP>50, R<SUP>50</SUP>30 should be applied. These methods exhibit a higher discrimination in each energy regime than conventional beam-quality evaluation methods; therefore, they should be used for beam-quality evaluation according to the magnetic field variation.
