        미생물 성장 특성에 기초한 독립영양탈질의 화학양론식 연구

        It is necessary to supply external carbon source for enhancement of biological nitrogen removal from domestic wastewater with low influent C/N ratio. Sulfide was chosen as a cost effective electron donor and reaction stoichiometry for autotrophic denitrification was investigated by conducting bench-scale experiments in this study. Higher sulfur to nitrogen (S/N) ratio than the calculated value from theoretical reaction stoichiometry was required when the anoxic reactor was operated at open condition because dissolved oxygen introduced by surface aeration reacted with sulfide with ease. In addition, higher sulfate production and lower yield of microorganism could be observed under the same condition. It was possible to obtain reliable reaction stoichiometry for autotrophic denitrification by establishing pure anoxic condition. Linear relationship between bacterial growth and consumption of nitrate, sulfide, alkalinity, and sulfate production enabled to derive a relatively correct reaction stoichiometry for autotrophic denitrification when sulfide was used as an electron donor.

        환경친화형 수분산성 불소 아크릴레이트 공중합체에 의한 섬유 표면개질

        Waterborne fluorinated acrylate copolymer (WFAC) for surface modification of textile was synthesized from perfluoroalkyl ethyl acrylate, octadecyl acrylate, glycidyl methacrylate, surfactant and 3,3 methyl-methoxy butanol. The structures of the synthesized WFAC were determinated by FT-IR and ^(19)F-NMR analysis. The thermal stability investigated with DSC and TGA was decreased with increasing the content of fluorinated acrylate in the copolymer. However, the particle sizes of WFAC were increased with increasing the content of fluorinated acrylate in the copolymer. The surface energies calculated by contact angles of WFAC were in the range of 29.80~3.41 dyne/cm. On the observing SEM of the textile surface treated with WFAC, the textile was swollen and compacted with increasing the concentration of water repellency agent. WFAC synthesized in this study showed a good water repellency.

        In this study, microstructure, size of primary α, solid fraction and hardness of A356 Al alloy were investigated. Semi-solid A356 alloys were obtained by semi-solid continuous casting apparatus consists of melting furnace, formation apparatus of granular primary α and continuous casting apparatus. Size of primary α and solid fraction were decreased with decreasing temperature, and with increasing volume of cooling water. At the cooling water temperature of 15℃ and cooling water volume of 18.2ℓ/min, the sizes of primary α phases were decreased up to 40㎛, and fraction solid was 0.68.

        With the development of semiconductor devices, adaptation of microcontroller prevails in industrial area. But in arc welding industry, there has not been much progress in adoption microcontroller technology. Therefore, this paper shows the application of digital control technology to welding machine. This paper presents the design of microcontroller that is appropriate for three phase CO2 gas metal arc welding machine. By using microcontroller in CO2 gas metal arc welding machine, the overact cost can be reduced compared to analog type one. Also TMS370C850 microprocessor is used as overall microcontroller for the arc welding machine.

      • 균일가열법으로 제조한 반용융 A390합금의 미세조직 및 성형성

        Microstructure of hypereutectic Al-17wt.% Si alloy, fabricated by mechanical stirring and by reheating at semi-solid state, was investigated by optical microscope. Flow behavior semi-solid metal also was investigated at diffentent mould temperatures 280℃, 290℃ and 300℃ . Size of silicon particles were increased over 100㎛ durig solidification as a result of stirring. It is considered as microstructural coarsening by bonding between neighbouring primary silicon particles during stirring of slurry. In case of reheating at semi-state, however, primary silicon particle was not increased at size of 40㎛ and nearly spherical aluminum solde particle also was improved when solid fraction was 0.7 at mould temperature of 300℃ than other conditions.

      • 1996-1997년 겨울철에 유행한 인플루엔자의 임상역학적 분석 및 원인 바이러스의 분리

        목적: 인플루엔자는 매년 겨울 전 세계적인 유행을 일으키는 급성 호흡기 질환으로 높은 이환률과 사망율을 보인다. 국내에서도 1996-1997년 겨울철에 다수의 보고가 있었으나 아직 체계적인 감시가 이루어지고 있지 못하다. 저자들은 이 기간 동안 인플루엔자 바이러스 감염의 역학적 특성과 임상상을 연구하여 인플루엔자 감시의 기초 자료를 제공하고자 하였다. 방법: 1996년 10월부터 1997년 4월까지 삼성서울병원 임상병리과에 인플루엔자 바이러스 배양 검사가 의뢰된 모든 검체를 대상으로 인플루엔자 바이러스의 분리율과 유행 양상, 그리고 환자들의 임상상을 후향적으로 조사, 분석하였다. 결과: 총 461명의 환자로부터 525례의 검체가 의뢰되어 총 98명의 환자로부터 인플루엔자 바이러스가 분리되었다. 인플루엔자 A형은 54명의 소아 환자와 4명의 소아 환자로부터 분리되었다. 아형과 항원 특성 검사를 시행한 31례의 인플루엔자 A형 중 한 예에서 A/Wuhan/359/95 유사주로 확인되었고 12례의 인플루엔자 B형 중 5례에서 B/Guangdong/8/97 유사주로 확인되었다. 인플루엔자의 유행 양상은 3월과 4월 중순, 두 번의 인플루엔자 최고 분리 시점이 관찰되었고, 가장 많은 불리 빈도를 보인 연령층은 인플루엔자 A형의 경우 1세 미만이었고 인플루엔자 B형의 경우 3-5세였으며 폐렴이 가장 흔한 호흡기 질환이었다. 결론: 저자들은 3차 의료기관에서 분리된 인플루엔자 바이러스에 대한 역학적, 임상적 특성을 연구하였다. 지역사회에 대한 광범위한 연구가 아니므로 국내의 전반적 상황과는 차이가 있을 것으로 생각되지만 우리나라에서도 인플루엔자 바이러스의 이환률이 낮지 않을 것으로 생각되며, 보다 조직적이고 전국적인 인플루엔자 감시가 이루어져야 할 것으로 사료된다. Background: Although influenza has been a leading cause of global morbidity and mortality, we have few data regarding the epidemioloical and clinical characteristics of influenza activity in korea. Since an outbreak of influenza was recognized during winter of 1996-1997, we analysed the epidemiological and clinical features of influenza activity in the hospital seeting. Methods: All clinical specimens requested for isolation of influenza virus at Samsung Medical Center from October 1996 to April 1997 were included. Mardin-Darby canine kidney (MDCK) cell line was used for virus culture. Isolated viruses were confirmed with immunostain followed by subtyping. The demograpic and clinical characteristics of the patients were reviewed retrospectively. Results: Ninety eight influenza viruses were isolatd from 461 patients (21.3%). Influenza A and B virus were isolated from 58 (54 children and 4 adults) and 40 pediatric patients, respectively. One of 31 influenza A viruses was confirmed as A/Wuhan/359/95-like strain and 5 of 12 influenza B viruses were confiremd as B/Guangdong/8/97-like strains. Two distinctive peaks of influenza activity were recognized and the most common age of patients was less than 1 year for influenza A, and 3 to 5 years for influenza B. Common lower respiratory infections were pneumonia followed by croup, bronchiolitis and laryngitis. Conclusion: We analyzed the epidemiological and clinical features of influenza activity during winter of 1996-1997. Although this study was performed not in the community but in the hospital setting, the morbidity caused by influenza may not be low in Korea. Therefore, nationwide surveillance for influenza activity is warranted.

        In this paper we describe a visualization method for Bus Information System(BIS) on Mobile Environment. A BIS is a key service for Intelligent Transport System(ITS) on public transportation area. We present a client-server based visualization technique for bus route information over Internet Protocol and user-oriented regional information service with a voice and animation. We also describe the design and implementation of this kind of schematic map generation system with icon and label.

      • 窒素質肥科의 基追肥 施用時期가 이타리안라이그라스의 生育 및 靑草收量과 養分組成에 미치는 影響

        本 硏究는 冬季休閑畓을 活用한 이타리안 라이그라스의 栽培에 알맞은 窒素質肥料의 基·追肥 施用適期를 알고자 遂行하였던 바 다음과 같은 結果를 얻었다. 1. 窒素基肥施用時期가 늦어질수록 越 草長의 伸長短縮과 靑草收量을 感收시켰고 組蛋白質, 組脂肪, 組灰粉의 含量도 적어 飼料의 質을 低下시켰으며 또한 越冬期 枯死莖 被害와 越冬後의 靑草收量도 減小시켰다. 2. 窒素質肥料의 追肥施用適期 試驗에서도 追肥施用適期가 늦어질수록 生育量 및 追肥施用適期 減小와 節間을 伸長시켰으며 組蛋, 白質, 組脂肪 含量도 적었다. 3. 窒素質肥料의 基追肥 施用適期는 基肥는 播種當日, 追肥는 生育再生後 10日頃이었다. This experiment was carried out to study the effects of different application times on the nitrogen fertilizer, the fresh matter yield and feed efficiency of Italianryegrass under winter cropping on drained paddy field. Plant height, fresh matter yield and content of organic nutrient were decreased. According as the application times of top basal dressing on the nitrogen were late. In the experiment of the application times of top dressing on the nitrogen times of top wintering. Agronomic characters, fresh matter yield, crude protein, crude fat and crude were decreased. According as thd application times of top dressing on the nitrogen fertilizer were late. The optimum application time of nitrogen fertilizer was sowing date in basal dressing and was 10 days after regrowth in top dressing.
