        This study was conducted to examine aspects of health and safety education and demand level of safety education in construction job sites in order to provide direction of safety education development. The subjects of this study were 566 workers who were working in construction job sites located in Daegu City and Kyungbuk Province. Data were collected from June 1, 2002 to August 30, 2002. The results of this study can be summarized as follows. 1. According to safety education by experience methods, the proportion of education by lecture was highest (90.6%). The proportion of education by field practice was 13.1%. 2. Among the education methods which they thought as the most desirable method, the proportion of audio-visual education was 39.4% and the proportion of education by experience was 37.5%. Those who had more monthly income and higher education level preferred audio-visual education, while those who were younger and less educated preferred education by experience. 3. In the case of the contents of the safety education which they thought as the most important one, the proportion of enhancement of safety awareness and education of risk factors was highest (24.7%). The groups of older workers, having longer working period, and belonging to higher education level preferred these contents. 4. According to the factors which were most important to increase effectiveness of the safety education were workers' voluntary participation (27.7%), 40 to 49 years old (27.7%), and monthly income of one million, five hundred thousand won to one million, nine hundred ninety thousand won (32.0%). The proportions of lower educated workers and working as daily workers were also high. 5. The variable which most influenced the safety education was age. The safety awareness of construction job sites was the second highest influential variable. From above results, it is clear that the workers' participation in the safety education was low since most of the safety educations were formal education by lecture. Although they participated in the education, the education was also not effective because they compulsorily participated in it. Therefore, it can be concluded that effective alternative policies must be formulated.

        In this study, chemical compositions of Godulbaegi(leaves and root) were investigated. As for free sugar of the leaves and roots of Godulbaegi, fructose, glucose and sucrose were detected. The total phenolic content was shown higher in the leaves than in the roots. As for amino acid of the leaves of Godulbaegi, 20 kinds amino acids were detected and among them, L-proline and L-glutamic acids were prominent, root of Godulbaegi, 19 kinds amino acids were detected and among them, L-glutamin, L-proline were prominent. As for fatty acid, linolenic acid was prominent in the leaves of Godulbaegi and linoleic acid was prominent in the roots of Godulbaegi. As for vitamin, only the ascorbic acid was detected in the leaves and roots of Godulbaegi and the rest was trace. As for minerals K, Ca, Mg and Na were prominent in the leaves and roots of Godulbaegi.

        Offices vary greatly, and the ways of handling business information are changing ; however, the principal office activities in dealing with information are to create, store, retrieve, organize summarize, communicate, and make decisions about information. A concept of office automation is connectivity that technology links together or integrates information. When Computers are connected, they can be used to communicate with each other in ways that help users improve their productivity. Our enterprises have a changed recognition of the office automation and cope with it sensitively. Like this, a large amount of investment is predicated in the office work which plays a great role in the business management, so it is really necessary to make a study of the office automation in many fields. Until now the study of it has been limited to the office automated machines, the business conditions, or the organization of administration. Actually we have neglected the human consideration of office workers who take practical charge of the office automation. As the office automation is promoted deeply, the human consideration can be applied to the effective management of human relationship in the business administration and present fundamental directions of workers' control. From this point of view this paper made the office managers as objects of study and investigated the change of work attitude and the satisfaction with their work due to the office automation in the human aspect.

      • 스위치드-캐패시터 低域通過 能動 濾波器의 實現에 對한 硏究

        Recently, there has been a great deal of interest in the realization of analog filters using switched and fixed capacitors and active elements. It is known that a switched-capacitor has much better performance than a resistor in the characteristics of temperature and linearity, and can be fabricated on the much smaller space than the resistor. In this paper, in order to design the simple and economic 3rd order Low-Pass active filter using switched-capacitor, all the resistors in the 3rd order RC Low-Pass active filter network using only one OP amplifier were replaced by switched-capacitor and were studied by their experiment. The results were obtained as follows. 1.A RC Low-Pass active filter network could be realized by equivalent circuits of switched-capacitor. 2.The responses of designed switched-capacitor filter were almost similar to that of its RC active filter. 3.A switched-capacitor Low-Pass filter could be fully integrated into a single chip by using MOS technology

      • UV/TiO_(2) 수처리 공정에서의 살균에 관한 연구

        This study investigated disinfection effect by general water purifier and water purifier with UV light disinfection. The results are as follows : (ⅰ) The general bacteria existed plentifully in a storage tank before treatment (ⅱ) Water treated in water purifier did not meet the water treatment regulation standard since the presence of bacteria, whereas with UV light application the regulation standard is totally satisfied. (ⅲ) Photocatalytic disinfection process with UV light in the presence of TiO_(2) more effectively killed general bacteria than UV light only.

        방사선조사가 백서 타액선의 clusterin 발현에 미치는 영향

        Purpose : To investigate clusterin expression in the acini and ductal cells of rat submandibular glands after Co-60 gamma irradiation. Materials and Methods : The male Sprague-Dawley rats weighing approximately 250 gm were divided into control and experimental groups. The experimental group was irradiated with a single absorbed dose of 2, 5, 10, and 15 Gy on the head and neck region. All the rats were sacrificed at 1, 3, 7, 14, 21, and 28 days after irradiation. The specimens including the submandibular gland were sectioned and observed using a immunohistochemical method. Results : In the 2 Gy group, clusterin expression was similar to that of the control group at 1 day after irradiation and it was observed in the striated ductal cells at 3 days after irradiation. In the 5 Gy group, clusterin expression was observed in the striated ductal cells at 1 day after irradiation and gradually increased in the 10 and 15 Gy groups. In the 15 Gy group, clusterin expression was prominent in the striated ductal cells at 1 day after irradiation, but it gradually decreased with the experimental period. The destruction of the striated ductal cells was observed in the 2 Gy group at 21 days after irradiation and in the 5, 10, and 15 Gy groups at 7 days after irradiation. The destruction of the acinar cells was observed in the 2 Gy group at 28 days after irradiation and in the 5, 10, and 15 Gy groups at 14 days after irradiation. Conclusion : Clusterin expression was induced by low doses of irradiation and it appeared to be involved in the regulation of cellular response to irradiation.         방사선조사가 Porphyromonas gingivalis에 미치는 영향

        Purpose : The aim of this study was to observe a direct effect of irradiation on the periodontopathic Porphyromonas gingivalis (P. gingivalis). Materials and Methods : P. gingivalis 2561 was exposed to irradiation with a single absorbed dose of 10, 20, 30, and 40 Gy. Changes in viability and antibiotic sensitivity, morphology, transcription, and protein profile of the bacterium after irradiation were examined by pour plating method, disc diffusion method, transmission electron microscopy, RT-PCR, and immunoblot, respectively. Results : Viability of irradiated P. gingivalis drastically reduced as irradiation dose was increased. Irradiated P. gingivalis was found to have become more sensitive to antibiotics as radiation dose was increased. With observation under the transmission electron microscope, the number of morphologically abnormal cells was increased with increasing of irradiation dose. In RT-PCR, decrease in the expression of fimA and sod was observed in irradiated P. gingivalis. In immunoblot, change of profile in irradiated P. gingivalis was found in a number of proteins including 43-kDa fimbrillin. Conclusion : These results suggest that irradiation may affect the cell integrity of P. gingivalis, which is manifested by the change in cell morphology and antibiotic sensitivity, affecting viability of the bacterium.

      • 난분해성 유기물질 제거를 위한 오존/촉매 공정의 비교에 관한 연구

        Ozone alone and catalytic ozone processes were introduced for treatment of humic acid, which is representative refractory organic compound. The treatment efficiencies of humic acid in each process were analyzed in pH variation, DOC removal, and UV_(254) decrease. Mn loaded GAC catalyst was prepared by loading potassium permanganate onto the granular activated carbon surface. BCM-GAC and BCM-Silica gel catalyst were prepared by BCM. UV_(254) decrease in all processes was comparatively high with efficiency over 87%. DOC removal in ozone/GAC process was the highest with 78%, and removal rates for other processes followed the order ozone/BCM-GAC(62%) > ozone/BCM-silica gel(45%) > ozone/silica gel(43%) > ozone/Mn Loaded GAC(42%) > ozone alone(37%).

        A low stability is in conventional current control type of regulator circuit using operational amplifier, i.e, when the base current of controlling main transistor varies by the ac input variation and the reference voltage varies by the load current variation, dc output voltage varies considerably. In order to solve this problem, an improved regulator circuit using transistor is proposed in this paper. As a result of experiment, its stability is improved remarkably notwithstanding the wide variation of the input voltage and load current.

      • 대칭형 접합이음 보강판의 피로균열성장거동

        보강판은 항공기 구조물의 대부분을 점유하고 있으며, 현실적으로 매우 중요한 균열문제중의 하나이다. 본 연구에서는 복합재료 보강재가 접합된 보강판의 응력확대계수와 피로균열성장거동을 실험ㆍ평가하였으며 그결과를 균열성장과 피로수명의 관계로 정리하여 보강판의 형상비 조건과 보강재의 재질 및 강성비의 영향등을 비교 ㆍ고찰하였다. The stiffened panel is representative of a large portion of aircraft construction and therefore has much practical importance. In this paper, the influence of various shape parameters on the stress intensity factors and the fatigue crack growth in the panels with bonded composite stiffeners are studied experimentally. Results are presented as Crack Growth Rates for various values of crack lengths, stiffening ratios, and stiffening Materials.
