In architectural design, housing has been an essential element of cities in general. This study investigated housing as a key element of urbanism and a major fabric in the rethinking of spatiality, density and new living/working patterns. Ciriani has continued to find a framework that could restructure the city, and then theorized his findings with the idea of strong "urban fragments" capable of "holding" space, a theory tested in his first important built commission in France: Noisy Ⅱ. Ciriani's typological strategy, which is a means to his purpose of generating space and forms in urban housing, is classified into three phases; 'megatrame(megastructure)', 'linear building', 'La Tour d'Horizon(horizontal tower)'. This study is about the design technique of the second phase, linear buildings. By analyzing his housing works of linear type, we ascertained his"upiece urbaine"vto serve as a connecting tool between diverse building types and urban morphology, regulating whole building in his design process. Typological strategy is a means of granting urban spaciality through the automatic formative norm capable of setting diverse restrictions- urban context, site conditions, functional programme, space, etc.- in urban housing design.

이야기 욕망 소환을 통한 글쓰기와 다시 쓰기 수업

This paper has intention to reveal the necessity of recalling desire of narrative in writing story. Without the summon, writing must be pressure machine. This studying is written with Gyeongsang national university students in fourth year during one month(2004. April). In order to take out the desire, interior dialogue and experimental narrative strategies are used. For the former, we made several group and talked collectively. Each student experienced liminality of self, so they could bring success of interior dialogue. For the latter, the spectrum of narrative strategies. Left of the spectrum, so called traditional narrative strategies are composed. Right of that, experimental strategies are deposited. Students made a choice what is called postmodern technique such as noncausality of episode, open closure, polyphonic character, fantastic chronotope, multiple narrater, the second point of view, and so on. This writing enabled students make new stories never thought in the past, and the desire of narrative, I believe, is posted in their mind like guerilla.

First of all, we must recognize that students learn everything through their whole body. It is impossible for them to get ready to receive information by using their only brain. So in literature education, teachers must get students to accept all contents and codes of poetry all over the body. Namely, students incorporate literature, so teachers must be manipulators and ideal participants of class. The method of poetry education consists of four elements. First, participants(a teacher and students) have got to constitute rapport and they must relax. For rapport and relaxing, music, paintings, films can be used. The thing that we don't have to overlook, the intertexual media must not be subjects of teaching. The intertexual media are only 'media' of poetry education. Maintaining rapport and relaxing, participants recite a poem. Reciting is a kind of performance. A reciter identifies himself(herself) with a speaker or a listener of a poem. Through reciting, a reader incorporates the rhythm, texture, ideas, atmosphere of a poem all over the body, And they construct a metatext. The metatext goes forward generalization individuality to a poem. Till now, evaluation of a metatext has been done by numerical value. But the literary ability can't be evaluated by numerical value but by description of individual trait or power. Students can incorporate a poem in their personal context, and they produce metatext liberally. And the same time, students can write a poem for themselves. The poem is produced surrounded by students' experiences and lives. Literature education must keep 'literary aura'. Besides teachers and researcher must develop and elaborate methods and fill up the lack of literature education.

지형도 그리기로서의 서사 쓰기의 방법과 실제

T.P.G. Strategy is initialed Topos, topo-Philla, and topo- Graphy. It functions as meta-cognition of writing narratives. Topos is what is tempered peculiar value or significant mean with space. Topos is more concrete and definite than space. Space is meaningless to human, on the other hand topos has very valuable significance. Topophilia is love and affection toward topos. The love is not only unconditional attachment but also all of the course that a person endows topos with a love and a concern. Topography is a sort of a map that a person acts and brings out various accidents. A person falls in topophilia with a special topos, so the person acts and reacts to the topos and circumstance, and that the all of course becomes a topography. T.P.G. Strategy makes a writer call the bygone self, so the past and the present can cross each other. The narrative consists of polyphonies of a present self and a past self. The memory and topophila enable a writer to describe vividly and concretely. And that the narrative has a propensity for lyricism. To prove the virtue of T.P.G. Strategy and establish elaborate it, the real writing lesson in K university from May till June 2004. The conclusion of real writing instruction, the narratives have noteworthy features. The peculiarities are as follows. First, the self was the other. The narrative subject or the past undergone self did not defend oneself. Instead he or she had the alterity. The texts by students were not narratives of subject but of transformative alters. Second, the cross of past and present brought out a collision of scenes in fragments, that was a montage like a cross cutting in films. The texts didn't have a casuality. So, the narratives held abundant lyricism, and extremely the time of a narrative came to a full stop occasionally. Paradoxically in drying time, the characters were very exceptional and cruel. Because of cruelty of characters, the text came to take on sublimity. So to speak excessively, the protagonist of the narrative through T.P.G. strategy is a topos. Topos is all except me. The writing to let me be the other is T.P.G. writing. So the writer can reflect on oneself and circumstances.

성장시기별 무순의 화학적 조성 변화

The chemical components of radish buds were investigated during the growth stage. The vitamin C and total phenol contents were lowered after 4 days of early sprout growth, and were 22.19 and 4.99 mg%, respectively.These increased according to the growth time, showing the highest value on day 8, 25.85 and 17.87 mg%, respectively. However, these values decreased around day 12, which seemed to be the bud end point. The major free sugar component of the radish buds was glucose, showinged the highest content on day 8. The total organic acid content gradually increased as the growth proceeded. The detected oxalic acid content was only small on day 8. During the early growth stage, the total and essential amino acids contents were 3,020~3,575 and 1,206~1,499 mg, respectively. These contents tended to decrease with growth time. Glutamic acid, aspartic acid and alanine were the major amino acid components (39%).

문학교과서의 해석과 활용에 관계하는 변인들

The new factors of every literature textbook based on seventh curriculum are exactly the same. The factors are image texts. what are called global terms, activities using computer or other media, and forced rules that students must find a solution to the problem. It goes without saying that they come in pretty handy to students. Because image texts increase students' interests, global terms are applied to interpret literature texts, computer make students write and rewrite texts easily, and the many problems let students try to think about literature. But we could be the last to overlook this fact that the factors would do students harm. First of all, overflowing image texts let students lose any sense of literature. We must put students on guard against vanity and ambiguity of image. Besides, image involves and degenerates imiologie, so image must be read thoroughly. So-called global terms pretend to stand neutral but they originate in political and economical subordinate relationship. So we must apply the terms considering the origin of the terms. The activity such as writing and rewriting literature using computer leads to commodity fetishism. Writing is not montage or editing but very creative work. If students edit text easily through ready-made texts, that is not creative working. So we must teach media criticism. The problems about literature composing textbook operate matrix. The matrix control students and students come near losing capability appreciation of literature. So the problems must decreased and transmitted to guidance book. Literature education must resist temptation of reprinting. We have to develope literature textbook involving various factors bringing positive appreciation. Otherwise, students would be numb of literature.

문지방 사유를 통한 자전적 서사 쓰기의 효과

The purpose of writing autobiographical narrative is introspection and reflection of the world. So, when we write our own life, the first person's viewpoint is not enough. The first person's viewpoint would make us think anything self- centerednessly. In this case, thinking on the threshold could be very useful. The thinking on the threshold brings multiple point of view. It is possible us to recognize and read ourself and the world. But it is needed something that support the metaphor of thinking on the threshold. The meta-thinking of thinking on the threshold is each narrative strategy such as homo-extra-diegetic narrator(an 'external' narrator who narrates his own story (corresponding to a first person retrospective narrative, where the narrator is extra diegetic and his past experiencing self is intra diegetic), homo-intra-diegetic narrator(a fictional narrator who tells his own story), self-conscious narrator, hetro-extra- diegetic(an 'external' narrator who is not a fictional character in the story. This is, of course, the third person omniscient narrator). hetro-intra-diegetic narratoda fictional narrator who narrates events in which he does not participate), stream of consciousness(interior monologue, quoted monologue), narrated monologue, psycho-narration, internal focalization (character- bound focalization), external focalization(non-character-bound focaliza- tion), zero focalization, camera-eye, second person viewpoint, and so on. Using these narrative strategies, the autobiographical narrative does not come to narrative closure but open the narrative, so it could let us introspect ourselves and our world.

향류분배 장치에 의한 주광성 행동의 인위도태와 자연도태의 유전적 효과

Directional selections for positive and negative phototaxis were carried out with hte populations, derived from Jeju and L-F strain of Drosophila melanogaster, using the countercurrent distribution apparatus. Effects of selection for positive and negative phototaxis were clearly recognized in the early generations, and the populations were reached a selection plateau from the 5th generation onwards. After 9 generations of artificial selection, the populations selected for positive and negative phototaxis were relaxed in the following 16 generations. The phototactic responses to natural selection of positive and negative populations were not returned to their neutral states. As a result of artificial and natural selection, genes of phototactic behaviors measured by means of countercurrent distribution apparatus are possibly controlled by major genes, and they seem to be fixed in the early generations of artificial selection. Walking behavior in populations of flies with positive and negative phototactic respones at the 9th, 16th and 17th generations was measured by the connected test tube apparatus. The negative populations turned out slow walking behavior. It seems reasonable to assume that genes controlling negative phototaxis and slow walking behavior were accumulated and selected within populations simultaneously.

Beneficial effects of fermented black ginseng and its ginsenoside 20(S)-Rg3 against cisplatin-induced nephrotoxicity in LLC-PK1 cells

Background: Nephrotoxicity is a common side effect of medications. Panax ginseng is one of the best-known herbal medicines, and its individual constituents enhance renal function. Identification of its efficacy and mechanisms of action against drug-induced nephrotoxicity, as well as the specific constituents mediating this effect, have recently emerged as an interesting research area focusing on the kidney protective efficacy of P. ginseng. Methods: The present study investigated the kidney protective effect of fermented black ginseng (FBG) and its active component ginsenoside 20(S)-Rg3 against cisplatin (chemotherapy drug)-induced damage in pig kidney (LLC-PK1) cells. It focused on assessing the role of mitogen-activated protein kinases as important mechanistic elements in kidney protection. Results: The reduced cell viability induced by cisplatin was significantly recovered with FBG extract and ginsenoside 20(S)-Rg3 dose-dependently. The cisplatin-induced elevated protein levels of phosphorylated c-Jun N-terminal kinase (JNK), p53, and cleaved caspase-3 were decreased after cotreatment with FBG extract or ginsenoside 20(S)-Rg3. The elevated percentage of apoptotic LLC-PK1 cells induced by cisplatin treatment was significantly abrogated by cotreatment with FBG and the ginsenoside 20(S)-Rg3. Conclusion: FBG and its major ginsenoside 20(S)-Rg3, ameliorated cisplatin-induced nephrotoxicity in LLC-PK1 cells by blocking the JNKep53ecaspase-3 signaling cascade.
