This paper deals with the characteristics of political changes in information society and Korean political culture. There are many theoretical debates on the changes of information society and itself. And optimism and pessimism coexist among scholars who describe political changes in information socy' Although it has elements of direct democracy, we can not assert that it is a democracy for very different views. In consequence of that, it is better to call it for 'caber politics' or 'e-politics' than for some democracies. This paper employs the terminology of 'e-politics' which represents the political aspects by the information and communication technologies in information society. A characteristic of e-politics is participant political culture and it likes to Ronald Inglehart's concept of the post-modem political culture based on postmaterialist value systems. In Korea, it is true that the spread rate of internet rise and the aspects of e-politics spread widely. The influences of `the Internet' on election are increasing more and more. Several study's analyzing the 17th National Assembly Election in 2004 show that 'the Internet' and online political activity increased electoral concern and influenced voting participation directly or indirectly. Although voting rate is low, the level of political concern and interest is high in that election. That is a characteristic' of the participant political culture of e-polity's and Inglehart's post-modern political culture. This paper finds the post-modern political culture has begun to emerge in contemporary Korea which entered into information society. In conclusion, Korean political culture is expanding into participant political culture with the spread of e-politics.

감마선투과검사 장치의 자동 원격조작기 개발

국내 감마선투과검사용 조사장치는 1,000여대로 2,500여명의 종사자가 대부분 수동으로 원격 조작하는 실정으로 작업의 효율화와 방사선피폭 저감화를 위하여 자동 원격조작기의 사용이 요구된다. 이에 연구팀은 실무에 적합한 토크와 안전계수로부터 54kgf·㎝의 출력을 지닌 24V, 200W의 BLDC모터를 이용하여 0.4∼1.2 m/s 범위의 선원 이동속도를 조절할 수 있는 구동장치와 RF 센서로 구동 속도 조절, 광전센서에 의한 선원 위치 및 timer로 노출시간을 제어할 수 있는 무선 원격조작기를 개발하였다. 이와 같이 개발한 자동원격조작기는 AC와 DC 겸용, 그리고 기존의 수동 원격조작기에 탈착이 가능하여 자동과 수동을 겸용할 수 있는 경제적 이점 등으로 활용도가 클 것으로 기대된다. Recently, gamma radiographic equipments have been used about 1,000 sets manually and operated by about 2,500 persons in Korea. In order for a radiography to work effectively with avoiding any hazard of the high level radiation from the source, many field workers have expected developing a wireless automatic remote exposure controller. The KITCO research team has developed an automatic remote exposure controller that can regulate the speed of 0.4∼1.2 m/s by BLDC motor of 24V 200W which has output of 54 kgf·㎝, suitable torque and safety factor for the work. And the developed automatic remote exposure controller can control rpm of motor, pigtail position by photo-sensor and exposure time by timer to RF sensor. Thus, the developed equipment is expected that the unit can be used in many practical applications with benefits in economical advantage to combine the use of both automatic and manual type because attachment is possible existent manual remote exposure controller, AC and DC combined use.

Charged Particle Decay Following The Heavy Ion Transfer Reaction ^(90)Zr(^(7)Li, ^(6)He)^(91)NB

The charged particle decay of continuum states excited by a single proton stripping reaction ^(90)Zr(^(7)Li, ^(6)He)91Nb at 50 MeV/nucleon was investigated. Chargerd particles, mostly protons, emitted in backward directions and 6He particles were measured in coincidence and compared with reaction model predictions. The results suggest that much of the strength in the continuum arises from decay of unbound states in 91Nb are not from breakup of the 7Li projectile. These results are in reasonable qualitative agreement with the predictions of the model of Bonaccorso and Brink.

國際收支및 換率決定에 관한 貨幣的 接近方法

The purpose of this paper is to introduce the Monetary Approach to balance of payments and exchange rates and, according to this approach, to explain some empirical facts for which Keynesian Traditional Approach can not provide any theoretical basis. The empirical facts, which appear in the turbulent period from the middle of sixties to the early seventies, are as follows; ⓛthe relationship between increasing income and continuous revaluation and balance of payment surplus in Japan and W. Germany, especially. ②the ambiguous relationship between capital flow and change in interest rate. ③short-run overshooting of exchange rate, since collapse of Brettonwood System in the early seventies. Monetary Approach can provide theoretical basis for the above facts. In particular, regarding the balance of payments and exchange rates as monetary phenomenon which are determined by money demand and supply, Monetary Approach can find the ultimate cause of the short-run overshooting of exchange rate is monetary disturbance. And by using stock models where flow is considered as the gap between actual stock and desired stock, Monetary Approach makes it possible to remove the ambiguous assumptious about capital flow. Though the Monetary Approach is expanded to the Asset Market Approach, it is considered as the special type of the modified Traditional Approach, namely Portfolip Approach. But its theoretical contribution can be found in combining the stock model with the Traditional Approach which use flow models. And recently, many empirical tests give the theoretical significance to Monetary Approach. The summary of this paper and its policy implication are as follows; First, the exchange rate will typically overshoot its long-run change in its short-run response to monetary policy, monetary disturbance. But adjustment path of exchange rate to change in price level, viz. real disturbance, is likely to be smooth and monotonic. Second, due to great impacts on balance of payments and exchange rates, monetary policy should be used carefully in our country highly dependent on foreign sector, to keep the credit of Korean ?? which is a very important element for external and internal balance. Third, the policy target of holding optimum foreign reserves should be pursued not by political regulations but by the economically desirable tool of monetary policy.

높은 들뜸 에너지에서의 단입자의 단양공 상태의 반응의 세기를 얻기 위한 무거운 이온을 이용한 핵자전이반응에 대해서 조사하였다. 핵반응에서 나오는 입자들의 들뜸, 스핀패러티의 식별, 스펙트럼에서 나타나는 배경처리 등을 고려하였다.

Se/CS₂용액으로 처리한 n-GaAs 표면의 Photoreflectance 특성에 관한 연구

The surface of of n-GaAs(100) was treated using 1.5㎎/100ml solution of Se/CS₂. The passivation of the surface of this sample was investigated by photoreflectance(PR) experiment. After the surface treatment, the samples were annealed between 300 to 700 ℃ in a N₂atmosphere for 10 min. From the obtained Franz-Keldysh oscillations, we have evaluated the surface electric field(E?) and built-in voltage(V??). The density of surface states(Q??) and surface Fermi level(E??) of n-GaAs treated with CS₂and Se/CS₂solution were determined 1.78 ×10??㎝?? , 1.81×10?㎝? and 0.734 eV, 0.737 eV, respectively. After annealed at 600 ℃, These values were about 45% and 13% smaller than those in unannealed samples. It has found that the passivation of surface occured when the surface of the sample had been treated with Se/CS₂ solution and annealed from 400 to 600 ℃. This is ascribed to effects due to activation of elemental Se on the surface.

Spontaneous retroperitoneal hemorrhage due to hemophilia A with impaired coagulopathy is very rare. Spontaneous retroperitoneal hemorrhage has been recorded as having originated from many retroperitoneal organs and blood vessels, and it may be due to local and/or systemic factors. In the majority of the patients, kidney and adrenal gland were the major site of hemorrhage. The systemic causes of spontaneous retroperitoneal hemorrhage are anticoagulation therapy and chronic hemodialysis. During the course of these treatments, hemorrhagic complications may occur at many site, including the retroperitoneal space. Blood dyscrasias including leukemia, polycythemia, sickle cell trait and hemophilia have been reported associated with spontaneous retroperitoneal hemorrhage. Rheumatoid arthritis frequently involves the cervical spine and may lead to neurologic impairement. However, direct involvement of CNS structures by inflammatory cells has been reported infrequently. The prevalence of this complication of rheumatoid arthritis is unknown. Inflammatory CNS involvement in rheumatoid arthritis reportedly occurs in the setting of longstanding, active, erosive articular disease and is accompanied by extracranial and extraspinal nodules and vasculitis. This is diagnosed by radiologic finding of CNS nodules or meningeal thickening and by biopsy or autopsy. Treatment with corticosteroid, cytotoxic agent or surgical decompression is helpful. But the majority of patients die within several months of onset of neurologic symptom. Recently, we experienced a case of pachymeningitis caused by rheumatoid arthritis, which resolved repeatedly with azathioprine treatment.
