        정문(程門) `중용학(中庸學)`의 별전(別傳) ― 주자(朱子)와 비교하여 본 곽충효(郭忠孝)의 『중용(中庸)』 해석

        郭忠孝는 程?의 易學과 中庸學을 계승한 만년의 제자이다. 곽충효의 『中庸』 주석서는 이미 일실되었으나, 본고에서는 輯佚된 자료를 근거로 그의 중용학의 대강을 구성해고자 한다. 곽충효가 전승한 중용학은 후대에 程門의 正宗으로 인식되었던 주자의 중용학과 차이점을 보인다. 그의 중용학의 특색은 두 가지로 볼 수 있으니, 하나는 `體用`의 관점에서 중용을 이해했다는 것이고, 하나는 『周易』과 『中庸』을 하나로 보았다는 것이다. 주자는 곽충효의 중용설에 대해 매우 불만족 했다. 그러나 곽충효의 제자 黎立武는 곽충효의 설이 정자 만년의 정론이라고 보았다. 어떤 의미에서 곽충효의 학문에 대한 주자의 비판은 너무 지나쳤다고 할 수 있고, 黎立武의 주장 또한 지나치게 스승을 추존한 것이라고 할 수 있다. 그렇다면 우리는 곽충효 중용학의 위상을 정자 문하 `中庸學`의 別傳 정도로 이해하면 될 것이다. Guo Zhongxiao was the later disciple of Cheng Yi, whom had succeeded Cheng Yi`s thought about Book of Changes and The Doctrine of Mean. However, Guo`s interpretation on The Doctrine of Mean had been lost. According to his incomplete articles, this article is trying to describe his thought on The Doctrine of Mean broadly. His thought is different from Zhu Xi`s understanding of The Doctrine of Mean. There are two features: one is talking about The Doctrine of Mean with TI&YONG; another is taking Book of Changes and The doctrine of Mean as the whole. Zhu Xi was critical of his ideas very much, but Guo`s disciple Li Liwu just took it as the final conclusion of Cheng Yi`s later years. In a certain sense, Zhu Xi criticized the ideas of Guo severely, and Li Liwu`s words were overpraise on Guo`s. We can view Guo`s thought on The Doctrine of Mean as the supplementary material of the School of Cheng Yi.

        Meteorological driven factors of population growth in brown planthopper, Nilaparvata lugens Stål (Hemiptera: Delphacidae), in rice paddies

        Growth of brown planthopper (BPH) (Nilaparvata lugens Stål) in rice paddies is mainly driven by meteorological factors under similar management practices. By analyzing field investigation and meteorological data collected from 2008 to 2013 in Nanchang, China, we show that BPH population densities and monthly growth rates (BGR) changed greatly from May to October, and these changes were closely associated with meteorological factors. Stepwise regression and path analysis indicated average speed of winds (AW) in June and lowest temperature (LT) in July were the first factors entering analysis, which interpreted 46.20% and 31.90% of their influences on BGR. While highest temperature (HT) in August and average temperature (AT) in September were the most important factors affecting BGR, but their direct path coefficients were all smaller than their corresponding indirect path coefficients. In October, relative humidity (RH), AW and number of raining days (RD) had significant effects on BGR. According to the sum of each meteorological factor entering stepwise regression analysis sequences, we found AW had the utmost effect on BPH growth, followed by AT and RH, but LT and RD least. The work demonstrate dynamic meteorological factors driving BPH growth and outbreak in rice paddies, which would facilitate the development of durable approaches for forecasting and controlling this destructive rice pest.

        Identification of differentially expressed immunity‐related genes in Monochamus alternatus Hope (Coleoptera: Cerambycidae) larvae parasitized by Dastarcus helophoroides (Fairmaire) (Coleoptera: Bothrideridae)

        The pine sawyer Monochamus alternatus Hope (Coleoptera: Cerambycidae) is a serious pest of several Pinus species, and the ectoparasitoid larvae of Dastarcus helophoroides (Fairmaire) (Coleoptera: Bothrideridae) is an important natural enemy of this pest. The transcriptome of M. alternatus larvae was sequenced using the Illumina platform and immunity‐related genes were specifically analyzed. De novo assembly resulted in the identification of 24 241 unigenes, with a mean length of 1122 bp, in unparasitized M. alternatus larvae and 23 807 unigenes, with a mean length of 1140 bp, for parasitized larvae. Removal of redundant unigenes resulted in 26 095 all‐unigenes, of which 16 959 (64.99%) showed clear homology with some of the known genes in the National Center for Biotechnology Information nr database. Parasitization had notable effects on the transcriptome profile of M. alternatus larvae. In all, 2702 genes were differentially expressed in M. alternatus larvae after parasitization, with 1491 (55.18%) upregulated and 1211 (44.82%) downregulated. Moreover, expression levels of immunity‐related genes in M. alternatus larvae were markedly altered in response to parasitization by D. helophoroides. In conclusion, the transcriptome profiling data, especially the discovered of immunity‐related genes, help illustrate the molecular mechanisms of parasitism between D. helophoroides and M. alternatus and provide new insights into developing immunity regulation‐mediated control methods of M. alternatus.

        Comparison of volatile organic compounds from uninfested and Monochamus alternatus Hope infested Pinus massoniana Lamb.

        Monochamus alternatus is a destructive stem‐boring herbivore of Pinus massoniana, and the principal vector of pine wood nematode. To investigate the impacts of boring by M. alternatus larvae on the emission of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) from their host trees, the VOCs from uninfested and M. alternatus larvae infested P. massoniana trees were observed using a gas chromatograph–mass spectrometer. We detected 12, 9, 18 and 14 volatile organic compounds from infested xylem, infested phloem, uninfested xylem and uninfested phloem, respectively. In P. massoniana xylem, the boring of M. alternatus larvae induced cyclosativene, and inhibited 4‐carene, humulene, styrene, α‐phellandrene, β‐myrcene, β‐phellandrene and γ‐terpinene. The relative amounts of camphene, copacamphene, longicyclene, longifolene, tricyclene and α‐longipinene were significantly increased, and the relative amounts of α‐pinene and β‐pinene were significantly decreased by the boring behaviors of M. alternatus larvae. In P. massoniana phloem, the boring of M. alternatus larvae induced 2‐bornanone, copacamphene, longicyclene and α‐longipinene, and inhibited 2‐carene, 4‐carene, styrene, α‐phellandrene, β‐myrcene, β‐phellandrene, β‐pinene, γ‐terpinene and ο‐cymene. The relative amounts of camphene, caryophyllene and longifolene were significantly increased by the boring behaviors of M. alternatus larvae. The results indicate that the boring behaviors of M. alternatus larvae changed both the sorts and contents of the VOCs from P. massoniana trees.

        Varistor and dielectric properties of Cr2O3 doped SnO2eZn2SnO4 composite ceramics

        Cr2O3 doped SnO2eZn2SnO4 composite ceramics were prepared by traditional ceramic processing and the varistor, dielectric properties were investigated. With increasing Cr2O3 content, the breakdown electrical field EB increases from 11 to 92 V/mm and the relative dielectric constant εr measured at 1 kHz, 50 C decreases from 11,028 to 3412, respectively. The barrier height fB about 0.8e0.84 eV and the decreasing of SnO2 grain size suggest that the varistor behavior with high εr is originated from SnO2 eSnO2 or SnO2eZn2SnO4 grain boundary. In the dielectric spectra lower than 1 kHz, a dielectric peak is presented and depressed with increasing bias voltage. Similarly, at high temperature, the dielectric constant also presents a dielectric peak in the temperature spectra and the peak becomes faint with increasing frequency. The exhibition of the dielectric peak is thought to be attributed to the conduction of grain boundary since it is accompanied by the sharp increase of dielectric loss. In addition, a dielectric relaxation with the activation energy about 0.4e0.5 eV was observed in the temperature range of 20 e100 C. Based on the results, the formation mechanism of Schottky barriers at grain boundaries and the varistor behavior with high dielectric constant are well understood.

        Synthesis of Ordered Mesoporous Manganese Oxides by Double Replication for Use as an Electrode Material

        Periodically ordered mesoporous manganese oxides were synthesized in a single and double replication procedure. Mesoporous SBA-15 and -16 silica and their reverse replica carbons were successively used as hard templates. The silica and carbon pore systems were infiltrated with $Mn(NO_3)_2{\cdot}xH_2O$ or $Mn(AcAc)_2$, which was then converted to $Mn_2O_3$ at 873 K; the silica and carbon matrix were finally removed by NaOH solution or calcinations in air. The structure of the mesoporous $Mn_2O_3$, using a carbon template, corresponds to that of the original SBA-15 and SBA-16 silica. The products consist of hexagonally arranged cylindrical mesopores with crystalline pore walls or cubic mesoporous pores. The structure of replica has been confirmed by XRD, TEM analysis, and its electrochemical properties were tested with cyclic voltammetry. Formation of $Mn_2O_3$ inside the mesoporous carbon pore system showed much improved electrical properties.

        Investigation on Crystalline Behavior of Polymerized Products in p-Xylene Plasma

        Distinctive Slow β Relaxation and Its Impact on Mechanical Property of LaCe Based Bulk Metallic Glasses

        The slow β relaxation which occurring at temperatures far below glass transition temperature, typically playing importantroles in the plastic deformation behavior of metallic glasses. Compared with polymer glasses, most of the metallic glasses donot exhibit obvious β relaxation based on dynamic mechanical analysis. In the current work, prominent β relaxation behaviorsof a series (LaxCe100−x) Al10Co25(x = 50, 60, 70, 80) bulk metallic glasses (BMGs) at low temperature are observed usingdynamic mechanical analysis. Compared with other BMGs, the LaCe based BMGs show a pronounced β relaxation peak andrelative low peak temperature, the activation energy of the β relaxation based on Arrhenius equation are calculated around79.3 kJ/mol to 86.4 kJ/mol, which obey an empirical rule that Eβ ≈ (26 ± 4) RTg, with the coefficient of 23. Experimentalresults from room temperature compression tests for the LaCe based BMGs indicate that low temperature activated β relaxationbehaviors facilitate the good plasticity of the LaCe based BMGs.

      • 도시 지역사회 빈둥지 노인의 종합양로서비스 체계에 대한 탐구

        중국은 급속한 고령화에 따른 빈둥지 노인의 비율이 점점 증가하고 있으며 이에 따른 빈둥지 노인에 대한 양로 서비스가 갈등적 초점과 연구과제로 되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 중국 도시의 지역사회 빈둥지 노인을 대상으로 빈둥지 노인이 나타나게 된 원인과 그에 영향을 미치는 요인을 탐색하고 도시 지역사회 빈둥지 노인의 양로서비스 욕구 및 양로서비스 문제점에 대한 분석을 통해 종합적 양로서비스시스템 구축에 대한 제안을 하고자 한다. 최근 중국의 고령화 속도가 빨라지고 도시의 ‘빈둥지 가정’ 수도 계속 늘어나고 있다. 이에 따라 빈둥지 가정의 노인을 위한 서비스 및 서비스의 질에 대한 욕구가 높아지고 있으나 공급이 수요에 미치지 못하고 있다. 도시 빈둥지 노인의 양로 서비스 문제는 이미 중국 사회 발전의 과정에서 긴급히 해결해야 할 중요한 문제가 되었다. ‘전국노령위 원회’가 발표한 통계자료에 의하면, 현재 중국의 빈둥지 노인 수는 약 1억 명으로 전국 인구의 7.5%를 차지하고 있다. 이러한 사회적 욕구에 대응하여 2003년 9월, 국무원은 <양로 서비스 사업의 신속한 발전에 대한 몇 가지 의견>을 발표하였다. 이는 <중국 노령사업 발전 ‘십이오’계획>, <사회양로 서비스 체계 건설계획> 이후 중국의 사회 양로 서비스체계 건설사업을 위한 또 다른 지도적 정책 문건이다, 이 문서는 2020년까지 ‘기능확충, 적절한 규모, 도시와 농촌을 적용대상으로 하는 양로서비스체계’를 전면적으로 수립한다는 것으로서, ‘가정 양로를 기초로 지역사회 서비스에 의지하고 시설서비스를 보충적으로 활용하는’ 종합적인 양로 서비스 체계 구축을 그 내용으로 하고 있다. 이는 도시 지역사회 빈둥지 노인 양로 서비스 체계의 방향성을 제시했다는데 의의가 있다. With the rapid aging of the Chinese population, the number and proportion of empty nest elderly also grew rapidly. Empty nester pension services become a focus and hot spot of contradictions. The research focus of this article is the problem of urban community empty-nesters in China. I start with the causes and influencing factors of empty-nesters, explore the demand for empty-nesters pension services in urban communities, analyze the existing problems of empty-nest elderly service in the urban community, and put forward a proposal that establishes a comprehensive pension service system.
