        지역 커뮤니티 활성화를 위한 복합문화공간으로서의 공공도서관 발전 방향 연구

        (Background and Purpose) Recently, the expansion of the role of the public library beyond the place of information acquisition and education centered on books is demanding the symbol of the community and the value as a cultural community space. Accordingly, public libraries are developing in the form of complex cultural spaces to revitalize the region. The purpose of this paper is to explore the development direction of the public library to provide the central point of the development of unique culture and arts in a specific region and to create a cultural identity. In particular, this study aims to suggest the development direction of public libraries for local cultural branding through the study of public libraries as complex cultural spaces. (Method) First, we studies the concept of public library, the role related to the community, and the meaning of the library as a complex cultural space based on the bibliographic information. Second, we analyzes the cases of domestic and foreign public libraries operating as complex cultural spaces. Third, through the analysis results, we suggest the direction of development of public library as a complex cultural space. (Results) The function of a complex cultural space can be linked to the function of a public library by the characteristics of symbolism, complexity, expertise, participation and accessibility. As a result of the case analysis, participation among the five characteristic elements was the highest, which could see the importance of encouraging voluntary participation by providing various programs and spaces. The next high level of complexity and accessibility conforms to the meaning of a complex cultural space in that you can experience various values in an easily accessible space. Symbolism was rated as the highest scale in all cases. Based on this symbolism, the public library as a cultural complex will be able to be a landmark that accentuates the characteristics of the area and thus gain the value of the tourism industry as well as the influx of people from other regions. (Conclusions) Public libraries as complex cultural spaces can be landlocked and improve the quality of cultural spaces by developing contents of cultural spaces that fit the characteristics of regions and providing professional information. In addition, the architecture that serves as the hardware of space should be unique, and the operating program that is the software should meet the user's requirements. Variety, a characteristic of complex cultural spaces, needs to be applied to the spatial composition and services of public libraries. In conclusion, the pursuit of directionality, which fused the role and spatial composition of the composite cultural space while maintaining the basic function of public libraries, is expected to help promote the local branding and the lives of local residents.

        마 재배지의 뿌리혹선충의 발생 실태 및 수직 분포

        The study was conducted to investigate the infestation and distribution of plant-parasitic nematodes on Chinese yam (Dioscorea batatas) in Andong, Korea. Root-knot nematodes, Meloidogyne incognita was the most prevalent nematode species which is found from 43 yam fields (81.1%) with high population densities (average of 450 juveniles/300 cm3). Other nematodes, root-lesion nematode (Pratylenchus spp.) and pin nematode (Paratylenchus spp.) were less problematic. Density of juveniles (J2) of M. incognita was 10 J2/300 cm3 by August, then increased to 274 in September and 624 in October. The highest J2 density was found at the soil depth between 40 and 50 cm (1,840 J2/300 cm3). M. incognita was able to infest yam tuber down to a depth of 70 cm and developed galls outside and brown spots inside. The highest number of females were found at 40–50 cm (79 females/10 cm piece) tuber from the top.

        해바라기침선충(Paratylenchus projectus) 피해 경감을 위한 윤작작물 탐색

        2019년 Paratylenchus projectus에 의한 심각한 상추 피해를국내 처음으로 보고하였다. 상추 시설재배지에서 P. projectus 밀도를 낮출 수 있는 고소득 윤작작물을 탐색하고자 십자화과(Brassicaceae)에서 6종; 갓(leaf mustard, Brassica juncea), 경수채(kyona, B. rapa subsp. nipposinica), 브로콜리(broccoli, B. oleracea var. italica), 청경채(bok choy, B. rapa subsp. chinensis), 케일(kale, B. oleracea var. viridis), 콜라비(kohlrabi, B. oleracea var. gongylodes), 국화과(Asteraceae)의 2종; 엔다이브(endive, Cichorium endivia), 치커리(chicory, C. intybus), 매꽃과(Convolvulaceae) 의 1종인 공심채(morning glory, Ipomoea aquatica) 등 총 9종을 윤작시험에 사용하였다. 각 엽채류를 직경 10 cm 토화분에 심고 침선충 접종(3,000 P. projectus/100 cm3 soil) 및비접종으로 나누고 각 처리별 10반복으로 하여 온실에서 재배하고, 100일 후 식물의 생육, 초장, 무게, 엽수, 뿌리무게, soil plant analysis development, 선충 밀도를 조사하였다. P. projectus를접종한 모든 작물은 무처리에 비하여 생육이 감소하였다. 지상부 무게를 기준으로 하여, 브로콜리와 갓이 56–66%로가장 감수율이 컸고 치커리와 공심채의 수량 감수가 30–35% 로 비교적 감수율이 적었다. 또한 선충의 증식률(Pf/Pi 비율)도콜라비의 2.54에 비하여 엔다이브는 1.1, 치커리는 1.35, 공심채는 0.64로 비교적 낮게 나타났다. 따라서 이번 실험에 의하면, 상추 재배지의 윤작작물로는, 비록 충분하지는 않지만 효과적인 윤작작물을 찾기 전까지는, 다른 엽채류에 비하여 수량 감수가 비교적 적고, 선충의 증식률이 가장 낮은 공심채가 상추재배지의 윤작작물 대안일 것으로 판단된다. The severe lettuce damage caused by Paratylenchus projectus was first reported in 2019 in Korea. To find high-value rotation crops for the control of P. projectus, nine vegetables, Brassica juncea (leaf mustard), B. rapa subsp. nipposinica (kyona), B. oleracea var. italica (broccoli), B. rapa subsp. chinensis (bok choy), B. oleracea var. viridis (kale), B. oleracea var. gongylodes (kohlrabi), Cichorium endivia (endive), C. intybus (chicory), Ipomoea aquatica (morning glory) were planted in d-10-cm clay pots in greenhouse. The growth of vegetables was compared between inoculated with 3,000 P. projectus per 100 cm3 of soil and non-inoculated. Treatments were replicated 10 times. After 100 days, the reduction of fresh top weight was 30.4% in C. intybus, 35.1% in I. aquatica, 36.9% in B. oleracea var. acephala, 40.5% in C. endivia, 42.1% in B. rapa, 47.5% in B. rapa subsp. nipposinica, 50.4% in B. oleracea var. gonglodes, 56.3% in B. oleracea var. italica, and 66.0% in B. juncea. Nematode multiplication rates (Pf/Pi) were lower in I. aquatica (0.64) and C. endivia (1.1), but higher in B. oleracea var. gongylodes (2.54). Considering these results, I. aquatica is suitable for the rotation crop with lettuce until better rotation crops developed.

        Effects of Fish-Meal Application on the Growth of Chinese Cabbages (Brassica Campestris L.) and Soil Chemical Properties

        This study was conducted to get the basic data for the eco-friendly cultivation of Chines cabbages that high nitrogen requirements by evaluate the effect of the pollack fish-meal incorporation on growth properties of cabbage and soil chemistry. The study was conducted as pot (1/2,000a) test at the Miryang in Korea from May to August 2017. The treatment was divided into two groups; the amount of fish-meal treated were based by comparing the standard application ratio of nitrogen for Chinese cabbage with the nitrogen content of the fish-meal, and the chemical properties and the growth of the cabbage were compared by the treatments of 50%, 100%, 150%, 200% and 250%. The results obtained are following; the ammonia gas was produced from the after 2nd day of incorporated, and the amount of ammonia gas generated was geometrically correlated with the amount of fish processed. The soil pH level after study was lowered to about the pH 5.1 from 32.1 g/pot (1/2,000a). Due to the fish-meal increased the EC, content of Av. P₂O5 acid and inorganic nitrogen, and the pH level did not decrease even when the inorganic nitrogen increased at NO₃<SUP>-</SUP>‒N content of 5.4 mg/kg and NH₄<SUP>+</SUP>‒N was higher than 3.3 mg/kg. The SPAD value at the time of cabbage harvest was positive correlation with the amount of fish-meal treated, and the biomass was similar to that of SPAD. The biomass of Chinese cabbage in fish-meal plots were higher than that of conventional treatments, and the weight of the headed cabbage was the highest in T4 (64.1 g/pot). The number of cabbage leaf was the highest in T3 (53.4 g/pot). Based on the above results, it is thought that if the C/N ratio adjusted plant organic resources, methods of mixing and technologies for minimizing pH drop are supplemented, it will be excellent eco-friendly organic resources instead of synthetic nitrogen.

        Nematophagous fungi can capture, kill, and digest nematodes using a specific capturing organ. Of the nematophagous fungi, while Arthrobotrys flagrans and A. superba have been described previously, certain characteristics have not been described. For a detailed description of the two nematophagous fungi, the fungi were isolated from soil samples and produced in a pure culture. Morphological characteristics, such as predatory ability (according to the nematode species), shape, and size of predatory organ, conidia, and chlamydospore were investigated and they were used for identification of the fungal isolates along with molecular phylogenetic analysis. Furthermore, this study provides the classification key for 21 nematophagous species.
