The long-term research of the Jurchens’ sites included into the Eastern Xia State (1215-1233) has elucidated the economic structure of that period. The large amount and wide variety of agricultural equipment let us conclude that the Jurchens’ economy was based on farming and cattle breeding. The plowshares, socks, shovels and mattocks been excavated there fall into the category of equipment used for soil cultivating; sickles, flails and hayforks were used in harvesting; mortars and handoperated mill stones were designed for grain processing. The basis of the Jurchnens’ grain farming consisted of many sorts of cultivated plants including cereals, beans, garden and technical crops. The Jurchen people used mortars and mill stones for their processing. Besides agricultural production, they consumed a great deal of meat products, o that the cattle breeding played considerable part in the economy sector. The Jurchens had the system of residential cattle breeding, where cattle and horses prevailed. There were agisted, pasture and yard forms of feeding. The archaeological research of the Eastern Xia State proved that the Jurchens’ sites mostly performed both administrative and military functions, but at the same time they can be regarded as military and agricultural centers.
특별논문 : 몽골어 기원의 야쿠트어 형용사 고어형의 의미적 방전
( S D Eginova Gavril`eva ) 한국외국어대학교 언어연구소 2003 언어와 언어학 Vol.0 No.32
Sequential Differentiation of Human Bone Marrow Stromal Cells for Bone Regeneration

In this study we hypothesized that as a simulation of endochondral bone formation, bone marrow stromal cell (BMSC) provide a sequential chondro-osteogenic differentiation potential. A chondrogenic priming of BMSC leads to a spontaneous three-dimensional cell formation. BMSC were chondrogenically differentiated prior to an osteogenic stimulation. Duration of cell culture was 28 days, whereas in group A BMSC were chondrogenically differentiated for 1 day, followed by an osteogenic differentiation for 27 days. In group B BMSC were chondrogenically differentiated for 14 days prior to an osteogenic differentiation of 14 days and group C BMSC were differentiated chondrogenically for 28 days serving as a chondrogenic control group. Chondrogenic priming induced a spontaneous three-dimensional cell formation. To survey the stability of the osteogenic phenotype in the absence of an osteogenic stimulus, investigations were performed in vivo in a specially adapted chorioallantoic membrane model of fertilized White Leghorn eggs. Histology and real time polymerase chain reaction revealed a higher amount of osteogenic extracellular matrix synthesis and significant higher expressions of osteogenic marker genes in group B after 14 days of chondrogenic and 14 days of osteogenic stimulation. Matrix calcification in vivo in the absence of an osteogenic stimulus could be demonstrated. The results of the present study support the theory of a sequential differentiation potential of BMSC. A chondrogenic priming of BMSC stimulated into the osteogenic lineage result in a stable osteogenic phenotype in a scaffold-free, three-dimensional tissue engineering application.
Religiosity in Mexico: The Cult of The Virgin of Guadalupe
Eva Leticia Brito Benítez,김소현,노용석 국립부경대학교 글로벌지역학연구소 2023 Journal of Global and Area Studies(JGA) Vol.7 No.4
To understand the religiosity and syncretism in the so-called Guadalupano phenomenon in Mexico, it is necessary to understand the historical veneration of the Earth goddess by ancient ethnic groups. Their religion was based on devotion to female and male deities of fertility and creation. The Mexicas, a group that settled in central Mexico, had a particular fervor for Tonantzin, which means “Our Mother” and tzin “respect” in Tonan. When the first Spanish friars arrived with an evangelizing mission and realized that the Christian doctrine meant nothing to the indigenous people, they looked for similarities between their old beliefs and the newly imposed religion. At the same time, the natives took advantage of this transmutation to keep their deities alive. Thus, in a merging of the goddess Tonantzin’s characteristics and the Virgin Mary’s attributions, Santa María de Guadalupe emerged. This image of motherhood is a product of a syncretic process characterized by the power of Christianity and indigenous resistance to domination. It is the Mexican Catholic population’s most important devotion and religious celebration.
Experimental determination of the resistance of a single-axis solar tracker to torsional galloping
Eva Martínez-García,Eduardo Blanco Marigorta,Jorge Parrondo Gayo,Antonio Navarro-Manso 국제구조공학회 2021 Structural Engineering and Mechanics, An Int'l Jou Vol.78 No.5
One of the most efficient designs of solar trackers for photovoltaic panels is the single-axis tracker, which holds the panels along a torque tube that is driven by a motor at the central section. These trackers have evolved to become extremely slender structures due to mechanical optimization against static load and the need of cost reduction in a very competitive market. Owing to the corresponding decrease in mechanical resistance, some of these trackers have suffered aeroelastic instability even at moderate wind speeds, leading to catastrophic failures. In the present work, an analytical and experimental approach has been developed to study that phenomenon. The analytical study has led to identify the dimensionless parameters that govern the motion of the panel-tracker structure. Also, systematic wind tunnel experiments have been carried out on a 3D aeroelastic scale model. The tests have been successful in reproducing the aeroelastic phenomena arising in real-scale cases and have allowed the identification and a close characterization of the phenomenon. The main results have been the determination of the critical velocity for torsional galloping as a function of tilt angle and a calculation methodology for the optimal sizing of solar tracker shafts.

Extraction of the phenolic compounds, cinnamic and benzoic acid derivates, from Cinnamonum cassia (Nees & T.Nees) J.Presl was carried out. Classical solvent extraction, ultrasonication, maceration, and shaking methods were compared. Phenolic compounds were identified based on ultrahigh-performance liquid chromatography with photodiode array detector. The optimum solvent percentage was 60% (v/v) ethanol (EtOH) in a ratio of 1:20 with the cinnamon sample weight. The optimum extraction time was 90 min, and the optimum extraction temperature was 50oC. Under optimized conditions, the highest phenolic contents were 2.263±0.089 mg/g of free acids for sinapic acid, and the contents of cinnamic acid were 0.103±0.031 mg/g of free acids. The antioxidant capacity of the extract produced using the best extraction conditions was 14.337±4.662 mmol/g and the total phenolic content was 1.918±0.528 mmol/g.
