      • Comparison of Characteristics of Soybean Varieties Grown in a Green House and open Field for Leaf Use

        Jeju islanders consume soybean leaves as a wrapping for slices of raw fish and pork, eating mainly the young, raw, but fully extended leaf. These leaves are known to contain several kinds of functioning compounds, such as amino acids, isoflavones, flavonoids and pterocarpans. Farmers grow soybean leaves, but different soybean varieties and their characteristics for soybean leaf production have not been studied. Therefore, this study compared agronomic characteristics and iso flavones among varieties grown in a green house and in an open field. The results were as follows: There were differences in agronomic characteristics among the varieties and between places grown; generally, indoor growing produced bigger and more abundant leaves of higher quality. There were also differences in isoflavone contents in soybean leaves. Soybean leaves harvested earlier contained higher amounts in total concentration. Plants grown outside showed slightly higher but, different concentrations of the compunds studied. These results indicate that it is possible to control the isoflavone levels with varieties used, and harvest time and place.

        商代부터 공자까지 ‘命’론의 발전사 및 커뮤니케이션의 구조 -운명론, 초기·후기 천명론의 구조와 구성요소를 중심으로-

        본 연구는 상대 갑골문에 보이는 명(令)을 기준으로 여기에서 발전된 다양한 명(命)의 커뮤니케이션 구조와 특징을 알아보았다. 인류의 ‘명’ 관념은 신이 ‘직접’ 세속의 복·화를 내린다는 ‘① 신→ 명(세속의 복·화)→ 인’의 원형구조가 시발점이다. 이 원형구조에서 ‘② 신→ 명(順:세속의 복, 逆:세속의 화)→ 인(행실)’이라는 원시 종교적 구조가 발현한다. 상대 말에는 명이 불변하는 ‘③ 신→ 명(세속의 복·화:불변)→ 인(행실: 무관)’의 심화된 운명론과 명이 가변하는 ‘④ 신→ 명(세속의 복·화:가변)→ 인(행실:상관)’의 초기 천명론의 씨앗이 상호 논쟁을 만들었다. 주대에는 인간의 관념이 ‘신’에서 ‘인’으로 전이가 가속되면서 ‘명’의 의미도 내재하는 도덕적 명과 외재하는 세속의 명(복·화)으로 양분되었고‘⑤ 신→ 도덕적 명(불변:내재)→ 세속적 명(복·화의 가변:외재)→ 인(행실:상관)’의 명·복 일치, 즉 초기 천명론으로 발전한다. 마지막으로 공자에 이르러 ‘⑥ 신→ 도덕적 명(불변:내재)→ 인(도덕적 명의 실현을 추구)’이라는 명·복 불일치의 후기 천명론이 확립된다. ⑥에서 ‘신’은 인간에게 내재된 도덕성의 원천 혹은 뿌리로 제한되고 세속의 복·화와 분리(제거)되어 올바른 방향(가르침)만을 제시할 뿐이다. 사마천은 백이와 숙제의 삶을 통해 ‘하늘의 도는 선인에게 복을 악인에게 벌을 내린다.’라는 ‘복선화음’의 법칙, 요컨대 ②·④·⑤에 대한 강한 의심을 제기하였는데 공자의 ‘⑥ 명·복 불일치’를 통해 이를 설명할 수 있었다. 또한 젖과 꿀이 흐르는 복된 세상은 신의 권능이 아니라 인간의 손으로 직접 만드는 것임을 알 수 있었다. This study investigated the communication structure and characteristics of various 命derived and developed based on the 令presented on oracle bone inscriptions of the Shang Dynasty. Regarding humanity’s idea of “Ming,” the original structure of “(1) 神→ 命(secular fortune and misfortune) → 人” in which God “directly” bestows mundane blessing and misfortune is the starting point. In such a structure, the primitive religious structure of “(2) 神→ 命(順: mundane blessing, 逆: mundane misfortune) → 人(deed)” emerges. At the end of the Shang Dynasty (商代), 命of “(3) 神→ 命(worldly blessing and misery: unchanging) → 人(deed: related)” created a seed for mutual argument for unchanging (不變) intensified fatalism. Moreover, 命of “(4) 神→ 命(mundane blessing and misfortune: variable) → 人(deed: related)” created a seed for mutual argument for changeable (可變) early Mandate of Heaven (天命論). In the Zhou Dynasty, as the human conception accelerated the transition (轉移) from “神” to “人”, the meaning of “命” was divided into two parts including intrinsic (內在) moral 命and extrinsic (外在) mundane blessing and misfortune. fortune (命·福) of “(5) 神→ moral 命(immutable: immanent) → mundane 命(mutability of blessing and misfortune: extrinsic) → 人(deed: related)” coincided, that is, developed into an early Mandate of Heaven. Lastly, with Confucius, the late Mandate of Heaven of Ming fortune inconsistency that states “(6) 神→ Moral 命(immutable: immanent) → 人(seeking the realization of moral 命)” was established. As Samacheon(司馬遷) mentioned the deaths of Baek-i(伯夷) and Seok-suk(叔齊), he raised the rule of “福善禍淫,” which states that “The Way of Heaven blesses the good and punishes the wicked.” In short, Samacheon raised strong doubts about (2), (4), and (5). This could be explained through Confucius’ (6) discordance between Ming and blessing. In addition, the blessed world flowing with milk and honey was made by human hands, not by the power of God.

        Magnetic resonance images of ameloblastoma

        Purpose : To classify and describe the characteristic features of MRI of some ameloblastoma variants. Materials and Methods : The MR images, CT images, and panoramic radiographs in 5 cases were retrospectively examined as follows. First, the contents of ameloblastomas were devided into two portions of either solid or cystic components on the basis of MR signal intensities. The signal intensity within the solid or cystic portions was classified as homogeneous or heterogeneous. Next, the characteristic internal feature of the lesion on T1W1 or T2WI was described. The signal intensities were classified into low, intermediate, slightly high, high, and strong high signal intensity. Results : Unicystic lesion showed homogeneous high signal intensity (SI) on T2W2 and the rim enhancement of the surrounding area including the mural nodule and the thick wall except the central portion on Gd-T1W1 Solid type revealed heterogeneous and high SI area with strong high SI area on T2W2. On Gd-T1W1, the area corresponding to the low signal spot on T1W1 and the strong high signal spot on T2W1 showed low SI. Hybrid type showed slightly enhanced capsular structures and low SI for the round bony septa and the areas connecting the mixed and cystic lesions on T2W1 and Gd-T1W1. Conclusion : MRI could easily assess the relationship between the mixed and cystic findings in ameloblastoma.

        [사소절(士小節)]을 통해본 조선후기 사회상

        This paper is a detailed analysis of the changes in the late Joseon dynasty and the consciousness of the problems in “Sajeon”, “Buui” and “Donggyu” from “Sasojeol” of Lee Deokmu (1741 ~ 1793). It is meaningful that the analysis of the changed customs recorded in “Sajeon”, “Buui” and “Donggyu” and the author’s opinion about it in a unified viewpoint. In this article, I have paid attention to the social aspects of the late Joseon Dynasty, especially the different customs. At the time, there were changes in customs such as clothes, gambling culture and books and these changes seemed to have a negative effect on individuals as well as society as a whole. The national ceremony was held at the family feast, and music and dance in the western area spread to the private sector and the customs became obscene. In addition, gambling poured into the private sector, as well as men and women. There seems to be a lot of people who believed in superstition or believed in Feng Shui, such as gut, and the luxurious costume culture developed between Sunbi and his wife. Lee Duk-moo recorded each of these social events of the late Joseon dynasty in  “Sasojeol”, and pointed out the problems respectively. In order to solve the problem, Lee explained that he must constantly remind the problem and correct it with real action. Especially the role of the family. This is meaningful in that it offers very close and realistic ways for individuals to solve problems that have become widespread throughout society without turning them around.

        Duk-ki Kim. 1997. Interpretation and Understanding of the Language of Jesus' Parable: focusing on Literary Features and Criticism. Collected Papers on Chirstian Language Culture. A new model. of Politico-Social Interpretation of Jesus' parable will be proposed in this paper to the effect that the ploitical-sicial aspects unfolded in the text of Jesus' parable can be laid bare if the role of present reader will be seriously taken in the process on interpretation. Key supporting amalytic method will be adopted from Text Sociology of Peter Zima and Poststructuralism. The new model of interpretation can be constructed after reveiwed and criticized be the previous four models of interpretation: Amos N. Wilder's Rhetorical Interpretation, J. D. Crossan's New Criticism and Structuralism Interpretation, Norman Perrin's Existential Interpretation, and Bernard B. Scott's Reception-Theory Interpretation. The methodical process and illustruation of each bibilical scholar's interpretation will be concisely displayed. The proposed model of Politico-Social Interpretation will be used to ananlyze and interpret Jesus' parable of 'The Great Banquet'(Lukr 14:16-24). (Daejon Theological Seminary)

      • Star Test Pattern을 이용한 X-선관 등가초점의 측정

        In this study, equivalent focal spot sizes of X-ray tube were measured by star test pattern. As a result, the focal size was proportional to tube current and inversely proportional to tube voltage. Although tube current was increased the focal size was almost constant, when tube voltage is large than 80kVp. And, focal size was more increased at high tube current or low tube voltage. Resolution was more excellent if focal size was small. We confirmed what the radiation energy was distributed as edge band distribution in focus, because the intensity of energy at side was larger than in center.

      • 리티움 이온 고체전해질 CO₂센서

        Carbon dioxide gas sensor, which has inner heater, is fabricated using Li ionic electrolyte as raw material which is systhesized by sol-gel method. It has either Au electrode or Pt electrode as the metal electrode of sensing electrode part. Sensing characteristics for carbon dioxide gas and interference effect for carbon monoxide gas and hydro carbon gases are investigated. The sensors using Au electrode and Pt electrode show sensitivity about 25 mV/decade and 26 mV/decade for the variation of carbon dioxide gas concentration, respectively. The sensor using Au electrode shows more exellent selectivity compared to that using Pt electrode for carbon monoxide gas and hydro carbon gases.

        Kim, Duk-ki. 1998. Culture and Language unfolded in the parable of 'Vineyard Workers' (Matt 20:1-16): Structuralist Analysis and Interpretation. The Christian Language Culture. ...A new model of socio-cultural Interpretation of Jesus's parable will be proposed in this paper to the effect that the socio-cultural aspects unfolded in the text of Jesus' parable can be laid bare if the role of present reader will be seriously taken in the process of interpretation. Key supporting analytic method will be adopted from cultural studies of Raymond William and French Structuralism of L. Althusser and J. Lacan. The new model of interpretation can be constructed after reveiwed and criticized be the introductory remark on French Structuralism and structuralist literary criticism. Especially the previous two American Structuralist reviews of Jesus's parable will be compared with each other: J. D. Crossan's New Criticism and Structuralist Interpretation and Paul Ricoeur's Structuralist insight on Jesus' narrative and metaphor, and his hermeneutic criticism on Structuralist approach. The narractive analysis of 'structured' surface sturcture and semantic analysis of 'structuring' deep structure will be in detail displayed and their results will be reinterpreted in light of social formation. The proposed model of socio-cultural Interpretation will be used to analyze and interpret Jesus' parable of 'Vineyard Workers' (Matt 20:1-16). (Daejon Theological Seminary)

      • 진단용 X-선 장치에서 조사야조절기구의 성능개선에 대한 연구

        The performance of the X-ray equipment's collimator system was improved by using ultrasound distance indicator and laser unit. The laser beams were coincided with radiation field. The distance between X-ray focus and film could be measured by using the ultrasound distance indicator attached collimator. According to the actual investigation in collimator, 30% of equipments were not satisfied recommendations on standard of illumination intensity, and 25% of them were not satisfied recommendations on limits of light/radiation field coincidence. Therefore by using laser beam coincided with light field the difference between light field and radiation filed could be decreased. By using the ultrasound distance indicator, the distance between focus and film could be measured easily, rapidly and correctly.
