Up to the present time, many methods to estimate emissions from a particular diesel engines have wholly depended on the quantity of diesel fuel consumed. Then, the recommended emission factors were normalized by fuel consumption, and further total activity was estimated by the total fuel consumed. One of main purposes in the study is newly to develop emission factors for the railroad diesel rolling stock (RDRS) and to estimate a total amount of major gaseous pollutants from the RDRS in Korea. Prior to develop a Korean mode emission factor, the emission factor from the USEPA was simply applied for comparative studies. When applying the USEPA emission factors, total exhaust emissions from the RDRS in Korea were estimated by 28,117tons of NOx. 2,832.3tons of CO, and 1,237.5tons of HC, etc in 2001. In this study. a emission factor for the RDRS. so called the KoRail mode (the Korean Railroad mode) has been developed on the basis of analyzing the driving pattern of the Gyeongbu-Line especially for the line-haul mode. Explicitly to make the site specific emission factors, many uncertainty problems concerning weighting factors for each power mode, limited emission test, incomplete data for RDRS, and other important input parameters were extensively examined. Total exhaust emissions by KoRail mode in Korea were estimated by 10,960tons of NOx, and 4,622tons of CO, and so on in the year of 2001. The emissions estimated by the USEPA mode were 2.6 times higher for NOx. and 1.6 times lower for CO than those by the KoRail mode. As a conclusion, based on the emission calculated from both the USEPA mode and the KoRail mode, the RDRS is considered as one of the significant mobile sources for major gaseous pollutants and thus management plans and control strategies for the RDRS must be established to improve air quality near future in Korea.

Predictions by four atmospheric dispersion models such as TCM, ISCLT, Valley, and TEM were relatively compared in the Suwon City. Each dispersion model was seasonally modified with hourly TSP, SO_(2), NO_(2), and CO ground-level concentration data observed at two telemetered air monitoring sites operated by the Ministry of Environment. Prediction by each model was performed with the same input data prepared by intensive investigation of meteorological data as well as point, area, and line emission inventories in the target area. To present the paired comparison of each model, relative errors among four different models were calculated with reference statistics which were based on the predicted arithmetic means at a number of 48 different sites for each model. Since the main objective in this study was in the relative differences between models, it is impossible to quantitatively determine rank order for models. However, the results by four models show that the maximum relative errors in TSP, SO_(2), NO_(2), and CO concentration were 97.1%, 92.5%, 118.4%, and 49.7%, respectively.

A method of Safe operation of bioreactor with purge-recycle streams which the substrate concentration is inhibited by the specific growth of the biomass is proposed. A region of the phase plane (safe operating region) in which all trajectories lead to the desired steady in bioreator is determined, and a method for determining the safe start-up procedure is proposed by which the washout of raection system before approaching a desired steady state can be prevented during the start-up operation.

Thermal Decomposition of Copolymers of Butyl methacrylate and Styrene Produced in a CSTR

Thermal decomposition of the copolymer of butyl methacylate(BMA) with styrene(St) was investigated. The copolymer Was obtained at 80 ℃ in a continuous stirred tank reactor(CSTR) using toluene and benzoyl peroxide(BPO), as solvent and initiator, respectively. The reactor volume was 0.3 liters and residence time was 3 hours. The thermal decomposition followed the second order kinetics for BMA/St copolymer. The activation energies of thermal decompositon were in the ranges of 38 ~43 kcal/mol for BMA with St copolymer and a good additivity rule was observed with the composition of copolymer. The thermogravimetric trace curve agreed well with the theoretical calculation.
컴퓨터 분석에 의한 Myosin Head의 SH가 Actin-Myosin Cross-Bridges에 따른 구조변화 연구

N/A IASL(iodo acetamide) and MSL(maleimide) disordered the orderly helix arrangement of myosin in the rest state of spin level. Especially the effect of IASL was great. Equatorial reflection(10,11) change inferred that myosin head was moved to the vicinity of actin filament by spin level. The intensity change of 143Å and 72Å could offer information of the mass projection of population of myosin heads along the filament axis. The slope of intensity profile of the mass projection of 143Å and reflection of IASL is appeared and that of MSL is appeared sharply. The decrease of 215Å reflection intensity is appeared the periodical characteristic of 143Å reflection by spin label. The raise of MSL actin reflection at 51Å and 59Å in the actin reflection change refers that the shifted myosin head binds a certain actin or changes an actin structure by spin label effect. Because iodo acetamide has a tendency to decease the actin reflection, actin close not bind myosin head. From this result, we could conclude that LASL and MSL are spin labeled on SH of myosin head and disordered the helix arrangement of actin.
모발에 좋은 오존수를 이용한 이동식 샴푸 장치 개발에 관한 연구

본 연구는 오존수를 이용한 인체공학적 샴푸대가 분리 가능하고 미세분사 형식의 샤워헤드와 높낮이 조절이 가능한 샴푸대를 개발할 수 있는 장치기술 및 그 방법을 제시하고자 한다. 개발결과 기존의 장치보다 피시술자 머리가 세발대 안으로 들어오는 인체공학적 디자인과 목받이 부분을 높게 제작하여 물튀김 방지를 완성하였다. 실험결과 물을 공급하는 통에 부착되어 있는 온수 유지 히터를 통해 피시술자의 기호에 맞는 온도를 설정하여 시술 시 지연 시간 없이 온수 세발 가능하도록 온도센서를 통하여 확인한 결과 수온유지(38℃)가 일정하게 유지되었다. 그리고 오존수 변환장치 설치로 자체 살균(1PPM) 및 정화 기능까지 가능한 장치의 효용성을 알 수 있었다. 오존수를 20분 정도 측정한 결과 오존 농도가 1PPM 이하로 측정되어 안정성을 확보하였다. 최종적으로 오존수를 20분 정도 측정한 결과 오존 농도가 1PPM 이하로 측정되어 안정성을 확보하였고, 온수장치와 오존수 변환장치와 함께 이동 샴푸대의 모든 부분이 사용자가 사용하기에 불편함이 없도록 설계 하였다. The goal of this study is to suggest the technology and the way of developing ergonomic shampoo device, which is able to adjust the height and to be devided, and it uses ozone water. As a result of developing the device, it can complete better the effect of preventing water splash than existing devices by making neck holding part higher. And it is also made with ergonomic design, therefore, the head of shampoo candidate can be drawn into it more easily. By adjusting water temperature(38℃) to candidate s taste through water heater attached to water bucket, when a candidate is being shampooed, it can help keep warm shampooing without delaying. We could know the process through temperature sensor. And we could also know the utility of its own sterilization(1PPM) and purification. Finally, ozone water was measured for 20 minutes and the ozone concentration was measured to be less than 1 PPM to ensure stability. All parts of the mobile shampoo stand together with the hot water device and the ozonated water conversion device were designed so as not to be inconvenient for the user to use
