        From the experiments on the adsorption of binary mixtures of benzoic acid-phenol in the fixed bed column packed with activated carbon, the following results are obtained. 1. For the equilibrium adsorption of unicomponent and binary system are fairly well consistent with freundlich's equation. 2. The breakthrough time and selective separation are linearly increased with the lengh of adsorption column. And the slope of benzoic acid which has large equilibrium adsorption is larger than that of pherol. 3. The substitunt coefficients increase with the concentration ratio. 4. The increase in the flow rate does not bring the equivalent increase in the breakthrough time.

        원형적 글자체가 활자체 변천에 미치는 영향에 대한 연구

        글자는 인간 말에 대응되는 시각적 표현 수단으로서 글꼴 자체가 시각적 차이를 낼 수 있기 때문에 특정 기호가 될 수 있다. 특정 패턴이 있는 글꼴 이미지는 두 가지 측면에서 커뮤니케이션이 가능한데 첫째, 언어에 종속된 시각적 수단으로 언어의 의미를 전달하는 것과 둘째, 시각기호로서 글꼴 자체에 의미가 부여되어 커뮤니케이션을 할 수 있는 것이다. 이렇게 두 가지 측면에서 커뮤니케이션이 가능한 글꼴은 새로운 복제 기술이 발달하는 초기에 커뮤니케이션에 도움이 되는 형태로 대중에게 다량 노출된다면, 집단 각인 되어 원형적 글자체가 된다. 원형적 글자체는 많은 경우 특정 시기에 조심스럽게 디자인되어져 포괄적으로 사용되었던 글자체로 집단적으로 시지각적 체제화 되어 가독성이 부여되었거나, 특정 시기의 양식을 표현하고 있기 때문에 글자체 변천 요인에도 불구하고 역사 속에서 계승발전 되고 재현되거나 변화 재생산되는 양상을 보인다. 연구자는 이러한 현상에 대해 알파벳꼴과 한글꼴의 변천사를 고찰하고 논의하였다. As a means of visual expression corresponding to human language, characters may cause visual differences in their letterforms themselves, so they can be specific signs. A letterform image having a specific pattern is available of communication in two aspects; first, it communicates its linguistic meaning as a visual means subordinate to the language; second, it is given the meaning to letterforms themselves for communication as visual signs. If the lefferforms-available of communication in the two aspects above-are exposed in large quantities to the general public, having the form helpful to communication, early in the development of new reproduction technique, they become prototypic letter style through group imprinting. In most cases, such prototypic letter styles are invested with legibility by collectively visual-perceptual organization or reflect the style of a particular age, a s letter styles which are carefully designed and generally used in a certain period, so that they are inherited and developed in history and in spite of the factors of changes in letter style, they have a tendency to be reproduced, changed or revived. This dissertation attempted to investigate and discuss history of alphabetic and Korean(Hangul) letterforms regarding such tendency.

        배·급수 시스템에서 부식방지제의 적용 평가 연구

        This study evaluated the effect of the corrosion inhibitors on the corrosion control performance in drinking water distribution system. A phosphate-zinc based inhibitor formulated was for the efficient corrosion control in drinking water distribution system. In a continuous-circulation test, 99% reduction in corrosion rate was achieved. The optimum concentration of the corrosion inhibitor was found to be 2.2㎎ PO₄/L. The effect of the corrosion inhibitor was significant for the pipes of carbon steel, galvanized steel and copper, but less for that of stainless steel. The corrosion inhibitor can be an effective cure for corrosion and red water problems by prevention the old pipes from further corrosion. Tap water in Mokpo and Kwangyang were more corrosive than the water in the rest of 4 other regions(Seoul, Pohang, Pusan, Puyeo). Tap water in Pusan was high in various ionic concentrations in general. The corrosion inhibitor reduced the corrosion rate by 76-94%, depending on the origin of the tap water.

        This study is carried out as the efforts to analyze the critical factors in the design of the electronic payment system From the stand point of the users and merchants, not only the critical factors of an electronic payment system that is convenient and reliable to more efficient and secure design, but also the barrier factors involved such as the level of the transaction, product, information and technology has not been proved empirically. The purpose of this study is to present a model and test factors that influence the design of an electronic payment system. In the case of the actual purchase through the internet, the security issue must be resolved in the design of a payment system. The users are not confident about dealing with the transaction on the web. The main contribution of this study is to present a model for design of an electronic payment system and to offer the critical success factors in the design of the electronic payment system.

      • 복수의 자율이동로봇의 협조운동에 관한 연구

        This paper proposes a fuzzy algorithm for cooperative behaviors of multiple autonomous mobile robots. Each robot makes decision of his behavior based on the information obtained by ultrasonic sensors to measure the position and angles of other robots. To enhance the industrial applicability of the suggested algorithm, we add disturbances of error angle caused by wheel steering when autonomous mobile robot navigates toward next destination point. This algorithm uses the position and velocity information of both the nearest robot and other robots within the detective radius of sensor with different weighting. Based on the fuzzy rule table and fuzzy inference, we obtain the rotational angle of the robots. The effectiveness of the proposed algorithm is shown by some computer simulations where a group of mobile robots encircles with equi-interval. In addition each robots is given weighting value to avoid the wall. Finally, the suggested algorithm shows that the more robots exist, the more effective it is.

      • Mo¨ssbauer 분광법에 의한 Mg-Cd 페라이트계의 자기적 성질 연구

        In this study, the magnetic properties of Mg_(1-X)Cd_(X)Fe₂O₄ ferrite system has been studied by Mo‥ssbauer spectroscopy. All the samples, prepared by a ceramic sintering method, were found to be single phase spinel by X-ray diffractometry. The Mo‥ssbauer spectra. for x<=0.3, show two magnetic hyperfine splittings. one due to Fe^3+ octahedral site ions and the other due to tetrahedral site ions. While for x=0.4 spectrum shows relaxation behaviour and for x>=0.5 it exhibits quadrupole splittings. This result implicates that the magnetic properties of Mg_(1-X)Cd_(X)Fe₂O₄ferrite system change from ferrimagnetics to paramagnetics as increasing x, And the x, Cd content, dependence of Mo‥ssbauer parameters (isomer shift, quadrupole splitting, magnetic hyperfine field and line width) were investigated.

      • 이원분산마크로장방형수지에 의한 파라니트로페놀의 흡착

        Uptake curves were obtained for p-nitrophenol/XAD-2000 resin system using a shallow-bed method for various concentration ranges at 298.2K. Distilled water was employed as solvent. The values of effective intraparticle diffusivity were detrermined by comparing experimental and theoretical uptake curves. The values obtained for solvent i. e, distilled water system was not dependent on the amount adsorbed in the higher concentration range. Those results shows that, except in the region where there is a low adsorbed amount, and adsorber packed with macrorecticular resin particles can be designed using a traditional pore diffusion model.
