Agonistic interactions between nymphs of the lantern fly, Lycorma delicatula (Hemiptera: Fulgoridae)

The nymphs of the lantern fly, Lycorma delicatula, typically aggregate on tree branches for feeding. We studied the agonistic interactions between nymphs in the field and investigated the effects of residence and size asymmetries on contest outcome. Resident nymphs took positions and engaged in feeding on tree branches, whereas intruding nymphs moved along tree branches. When intruders approached, residents typically raised their front legs as a threat sign. Intruders would decide to either move away or palpate residents, and residents often lowered their position when palpated. Then, intruders would attempt to shake residents back and forth, and the number of attempts varied from once to several. Residents either maintained its position or fled away. After a contest, the winner was determined as the one which occupied the position it fought over. Resident nymphs won 84.2 % of the agonistic encounters, and nymphs with bigger body size won 63.2 % of the agonistic encounters. The result of the logistic regression analysis revealed that residence was a significant factor for contest outcome, but body size was not

공급사슬의 효과적인 관리를 위하여 기업들은 SCM(Supply Chain Management)을 도입하고 있다. 기업 및 학계에서는 SCM의 효율성 향상을 위해 단위 시스템과 RFID와 같은 IT 기술들을 SCM에 적용하기 위하여 노력하고 있으며, 또한 많은 연구에서 IT기술의 도입 효과를 검증하기 위해 노력하고 있다. 하지만 현재 각광받고 있는 IT 신기술인 IoT와 SCM의 연관성을 분석한 연구는 많지 않다. 따라서, 본 연구는 SCM을 구성하는 POS, MES, TMS 등의 기존 시스템을 분석하고 델파이 기법을 통하여 IT 신기술인, IoT(Internet of Things) 도입이 SCM에 미치는 영향을 연구한다. 이를 통해 기업들이 SCM의 효율성 향상을 위해 IoT 도입시 의사결정에 도움이 되는 연구가 될 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

Logistic regression analysis revealed that prior residence was a significant factor for the contest outcome, but body size was not. We discuss the hypotheses for the dominance of the residents in agonistic interactions between nymphs of L. delicatula.

We consider the speed control problem for a two-inertia system that consists of two inertias connected by a shaft. In this system, the flexibility produces torsional vibrations that usually result in limited tracking performance when employing a conventional control strategy such as PI control. Moreover, the control problem becomes far more challenging if the load-side speed and torsion torque developed in the shaft are not measurable. This paper presents a disturbance observer-based controller that suppresses vibrations due to torsion torque and external disturbance so that the load speed tracks the desired reference. This is done by constructing an observer that estimates the torsion torque, load speed, and load torque at the same time and a controller that can adjust the torsion torque as desired. The proposed idea is validated through numerical simulations.

After a contest, the winner was determined as the one which occupied the position it fought over. Resident nymphs had a winning rate of 84.61% in agonistic encounters, and the winning rate increased to 87.5% when residents had bigger body sizes than intruders. Bigger individuals had won 61.54 % of agonistic encounters. The behavioral analyses of the agonistic encounters suggested that asymmetry in residence had a strong effect on the outcomes of agonistic encounters, with asymmetries in body sizes producing a weaker effect.

고객과의 접점을 증대시키기 위하여 과거에는 유통채널의 수를 증가시켜왔다. 하지만 ICT의 발전으로 유통채널의 서비스와 운영방식이 개선되고 있으며, 이로 인해 다양한 채널에서 소비자에게 일관성 있는 경험을 제공하기 위해 채널 간의 유기적인 통합을 의미하는 옴니채널(Omni-channel) 구축이 화두가 되고 있다. 선행연구에서는 옴니채널의 성공적인 구축을 위하여 소비자 구매 과정에 기반한 유통 채널 통합의 중요함을 주장하고 있 다. 하지만 기존의 유통 채널 분류 방법은 유통업자, 제 품, 유통기구 관리 방법 등의 기준으로 유통채널을 분류하거나 온ㆍ오프라인 등으로 유통 채널을 구분하고 있어, 옴니채널 구축 강화를 위한 소비자 관점의 유통 채널 분류로 적절하지 않 다. 또한 1:1 또는 1:1:1 채널 비교를 통한 소비자의 채널 전환 행동 요인을 분석하는 연구는 많이 있지만 다양한 유통 채널을 고려하여 소비자의 채널 전환 행동 요인을 분석하는 연구는 미비한 실정이 다. 따러서 본 연구에서는 유통 채널 분류체계를 재정립하 고, 순차적 로짓 기법을 사용하여 소비자 구매 결정 과정의 전 단계에서 소비자의 채널 전환에 미치는 선택 요인을 분석한다.
