      • 알레르기 환자에서 MAST-CLA 검사의 의의

        To evaluate usefulness of application of MAST-CLA to indetify allergens, authors conducted MAST-CLA allergen-specific IgE assay and collected allergy related symptoms in 118 allergic patients diagnosed at Soonchunhyang University Chunan Hospital during October 1998 through January 2000. The results were as followings; 1. The mean (SD) age was 23.1 (±12.17) years old and teenagers accounted for 33.1% of patients. 2. The frequent allergic symptoms were sneezing (59.3%), rhinorrhea (53.4%), nasal stiffness (44.1%), itching sensation (24.6%), cough or sputum (16.1%), and eye symptom (8.5%) in order. 3. Among these subjects, 62.7% of patients revealed at least more than one specific allergen and 70.3% showed elevated total IgE levels by MAST-CLA. The three most frequent specific allergens were Dermatophagoides farinae (47.5%), Dermatophagoides pteronyssinus (45.8%), and house dust (30.5%). 4. While age was not significantly related to positive of both specific allergens and total IgE (P>0.05), sneezing and nasal stiffness were significantly associated with positive of specific allergen and total IgE, respectively (both P<0.05). 5. Total IgE increased with the number of specific allergens, but both specific allergen and total IgE were not significantly related to increases of allergic symptoms (P>0.05). In conclusion, our data suggest that MAST-CLA allergen-specific IgE assay is useful measure for identification of causative allergens in allergic patients, however, it is recommended that more specific allergic antigens should be determined and replaced or added to Korean inhalent panel of MAST-CLA.

        응급실 내원 환자 14,836례의 통계적 고찰

        Cases of 14,836 patients who visited the emergency room at the Chosun University Hospital from January 1 to December 31, 1994 were analyzed statistically according to sex, age, department, admission, discharge and used transportations. The results were as follows: 1) Considering sexual distribution, male patients were 52.3% and female patients were 47.7%. 2) According to age categories, 4th decade of life was most frequent. 3) According to the department distribution, internal medicine accounted for 22.7%, orthopedic surgery 15.4%, neurosurgery 12.4% and pediatrics 11.7%. 4) The rate of patients admitted via emergency room was 38.0% of total number of patients visited emergency room. The department distribution was as follows: internal medicine 24.1%, neurosurgery 13.7%, orthopedic surgery 12.1%, general surgery 10.5%. 5) 62.0% of patients visited emergency room were discharged. The department distribution was as follows: internal medicine 21.9%, orthopedic surgery 17.5%, pediatrics 13.3%. 6) The number of DOA patients was 212(14.3%) and it showed highest rate in December. 7) A car and taxi were the most frequently used transportation(70%) but the used rate of hospital, 119 and 129 ambulance tended to increase. 8) Emergency room was visited most frequently from 20 to 24 hours. 9) Consumed time from arrival to emergency care of the relevant department was within one hour(67%).

      • 만성 화농성 중이염의 세균학적 고찰

        Background and Objectives : Chronic suppurative otitis media is one of the frequent diseases in otolaryngologic field. It is important to choose of antibiotics in the management of infectious disease. But the organisms in infections have been changed and resistance to antibiotics has been grown as the development of antibiotics has been achieved. And so it has been necessary to recognize the changes of organisms and resistance in antibiotics. Our study was performed to identify the pathogens isolated from discharges in chronic otitis media and evaluate the antibiotic agents, to recognize the change of to resistance to·antibiotic agents and to use the appropriate anitiotics. Materials and Methods : Retrospectively, authors reviewed the backeriologic study of 114 cases of chronic suppurative otitis media who visited the Department of Otolaryngology, Soonchunhyang University in Seoul from Nov. 1996 to Oct. 1999 and analyzed 101 strains and its sensitivity test to various antibiotics. Result : In 93 cases in which pathogenic organism was isolated, single infection was 85 cases(91.4%) and mixed infection was 8 cases(8.6%). The most frequent pathogenic organism was Staphylococcus aureus(59.4%), Pseudomonas aeruginosa(13.9%), Providencia(4.8%), Alcaligenes(3.0%) and Streptococcus pneumoniae(2.9%) were the next. Methicilline-Resistance Staphylococcus aureus was 34 cases(57.6%) of Staphylococcus aureus. Staphylococcus aureus was sensitive to Vancomycin(96.7%), Trimethoprim-Sulfamethoxazole (57.6%), Cefuroxime(42.4%) and Ciprofloxacin(40.7%) but resistant to Penicillin(94.9%). Pseudomonas aeruginosa was sentitive Amikacin(100%), Ciprofloxacin(100%) and Gentamicin(67%). Conclusion : As MRSA recently was wide spread in community accquired infection as well as nosocomial infection, we must consider strict control of MRSA.

      • 영상복원을 이용한 다중 열화된 영상의 디지털 자동초점 장치 개발

        영상복원의 문제에서 blind deconvolution의 문제는 열화함수를 미리 알고 있지 않을 경우를 말한다. 이런한 blind deconvolution은 입력된 영상으로부터 알지 못하는 열화시스템의 정보를 찾아내서 원래의 영상을 복원하는 것이다. 이런 가술은 우리가 보통 사용하는 사진이나 우주영상, 현미경영상 등의 영상에 사용하여 보다 나은 영상으로 개선하는데 사용된다. 본 연구에서 제안하는 자동초점장치는 얻어진 영상에 다중 열화된 물체들이 있는 경우에 적용되는 blind deconvolution이다. 최근들어 인터넷의 보급과 일반 자정집의 통신선로의 확장 및 확대가 단지 텍스트위주의 컴퓨터 통신을 음성 및 영상과 동영상으로 발전되어지며, 이도 통신의 시장에서도 IMF 2000이 본격적으로 상용화의 궤도에 올라가면서 음성 못지 않게 영상의 비중이 더욱더 커지는 것은 말할 나위가 없다. 일반전화선을 이용해서 H.324 기반 영상전화기 기술에서도 전송되어지는 영상의 화질을 개선하기 위한 여러 전, 후처리 기술들이 속속히 개발되어지고 있는데, 그 기술 중 촬영되어진 영상을 전송하기 전에 열화되어 초점이 맞지 않은 영상을 기계적인 어떤 부가 장비 없이 초점이 맞도록 하는 자동초점장치의 역할은 전송하기 전의 원영상의 화질 개선에 매우 큰 영향을 미친다. 본 연구에서는 자동 초점시스템을 구현하기 위해서는 입력되어진 초점 불안전 열화 영상에서 실제 카메라의 열화모델의 점확산 함수 추정은 매우 중요하다. 점확산 함수의 정확한 추정은 영상복원으로 얻어진 well-focus 된 결과영상이 원 영상에 얼마나 근접 할 수 있는가를 결정하기 때문에 영상처리 기술에서 매우 중요한 연구 주제이다. 그래서 본 연구에서는 서로 다른 점확산 함수에 의해 열화된 물체들의 영상을 영상분할 기반 반복적 영상복원기법을 이용해서 원래 well-focus된 영상으로 복원하는 점에 중점을 두었다. The images of three dimensions scene recorded by a camera are in general defocused, due to limited depth-of-field of the camera. So, some objects are in focus and others are out-of-focus in the images, which is suffered from degradation due to spatially varying out-of-focus blur. In this paper, we proposed a new method for auto-focusing of multiple objects blurred by a different valued point spread function(PSF). The multiple blurred objects are defocused respectively in proportion to the circle of the confusion (COC), so the multiple blurred objects (MBOs) have individually the PSFs in the image. In order to obtain all range well-focused image, we first divide the MBOs into the same degree blurred objects using the several segmentation methods. But, in this paper, we do not focus on the segmentation methods, so we discuss about that methods later. We divide the region of same blurred value in manual. And we compute amount of out-of-focus by estimation two-dimensional(2D) PSF, finally we acquire the all region well-focused image using the proposed the boundary model of between objects and background and segmentation-based spatially adaptive image restoration algorithm and boundary. We proposed a new degradation model for auto focus blur between multiple objects with different out of focus parameters and the segmentation-based spatially adaptive regularized iterative restoration algorithm. In the proposed model, the boundary effect of out of focus objects is mathematically analyzed. By using experimental results, we show that the proposed restoration algorithm can efficiently remove the space-variant out of focus blur of multiple blurred objects image.

        경련 발작에 대한 초·중·고교 응급처치교육 모듈 평가

        Purpose : The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of first aid education module on convulsion and seizure for students in elementary, middle and high school. Methods : This study has implemented to 2 types of test groups and control group in each 3rd and 5th grade of elemenary school, 2nd grade of middle school and high school within target school. The data were collected through a self-reported questionnaire to before, after and one month after education from July, 11 to September 4, 2007. Results : The test group who received first aid education possessed greater knowledge about convulsion and seizure relative to the control group not received education. The overall students has satisfied and been understood well with this module. The educators agreed to the practical aspects of this module in school setting. Conclusion : The above results implicated the importance of a continuous and systematic first aid education program among students. For effective first aid education, there needs a development of targeted educational materials for each grade student and training programs for educators.

        중심 정맥 도관 348례의 임상적 고찰

        To evaluate clinical trends, central venous catheterization of 348 in total performed at the Chosun University Hospital from January 1993 through December 1994 were analyzed clinically & statistically according to sex, age, department, used veins and complications. The results are as follows : 1) Considering sexual distribution, male patients were 61.2% and female patients were 38.8%. 2) According to age categories, fourth decade of life was most frequent. 3) According to departmental distribution, general surgery was 38.5%, chest surgery was 21.0% and orthopedic surgery was 12.9%. 4) Subclavian vein used most frequently (74.1%), and femoral vein accounted for 14.9%, extermal jugular vein 7.5% internal jugular vein 3.4%. 5) Complications associated with subclavian vein catheterization using infraclavicular approach occupied 15.1%(39 cases) of total subclavian vein catheterization(258 cases), and among these complications pneumothorax occupied 43.6%, subcutaneous hematoma 28.2%, local infection 15.4%.

      • 韓國産 十字花科 植物에 關한 本草學的 硏究

        For the purpose of developing Korean Herbalogy with the plants of Cruciferae which grow wild and is planted in Korea, the these and writings on herbalogy, from literature of successive generations, have been thoroughly investigative and the results obtained were as follows: 1. There were totaled to 23 genera and 74 species in Korea and among them medicinal plants are 13 genera, 29 species, some 39% in total but, the number of species may be added because of the similiar plants. 2. According to the oriental names which can be used for medical purpose, the medicinal plants belonging, to the Cruciferae family were classified as Herba 8,Semen 7,Radix 4,Foilum,Flos 3,Rhizoma 3,Fructus 1. Thus it was noticed that Herba was the main kind. 3. According to sum of 74 species in Cruciferae family, they were classified into Arabis genera 16, Brassica, Lepidium genera 5 each. Thus it was noticed that Arabis genera was the main kind, some 23% in total. 4. According to the number of species of the origin plants about each chinese materia medicals, they were classified into SEMEN LEPIDII 10,SEMEN SINAPIS 2. Thus the origin plants was not complexed reletively. 5. According to nature and flavour of medicinal plants, they were classified into warmth, heat; 4 each, cold, cool; 7 each, balance 14. Thus it was noticed that balance is the main in nature and flavour of medicinal plants. 6. According to the Properties and Principal curative action, they were classified into Drugs for remove toxic heat with febrifugal and detoxicant drugs, to removing evil heat and resolve dampness ,Drugs for reducing intense internal Heat Digestives and Evacuants 6 each, with promote or activate blood circulation by removing blood stasis ,to clear up heat and resolve phlegm, to remove toxic heat with febrifugal and detoxicant drugs such as 6 each, to regulate the flow of vital energy, to replenish vital essence with drugs 5 each, to dispel pathogenic factors from the exterior of the body with sudorifics pungent in flavor and warming in property, to stop diseases with drugs 3 each. Thus it wasnoticed that to promote or activite blood circuration by removing blood stasis drugs was the main kind. 7. Comparing to whole medicinal plants 89 kinds, toxic durgs include minor toxin were 8 kinds, 9% of the whole.Thus toxic durgs were rare. From this result, it was revealed that the plants for medical purpose in Liliaceae was 76% of the whole, in which Bulbus was mostly abundunt and toxic plants was so rare that it will be used for clinical treatments more easily. It is considered that many experiements and clinical approaches must be continued to use Liliaceae plants widely.

      • 초음파를 이용한 토출관 접합계면 평가기술 개발

        Ultrasonic testing method has been developed to evaluate adhesive layers in blast tube for the reliability of the rocket. The main objective of the present work was to find debonding and uncharged state between steel and FRP layers. We distinguish the debonding and uncharged state using the resonance method in the adhesive layers. It was found that the higher magnitude of ultrasound is reflected for the uncharged area in frequency domain, and shown good agreements with experimental results. The traditional ultrasonic pulse-echo method offers good implements for the distinction debonding area. The nondestructive testing results were compared with the micrography of destruective testing. As results, ultrasonic testing could be utilized for the evaluation of adhesive layer in the blast tube.

      • 선행하중 재하시 지반손실 감소효과에 대한 연구

        Among various methods for reducing the ground loss, this study introduces the pre-loading method which has been recently developed. Also, the major influence factos concidered fundamentlly in application of the pre-loading method are studied through hypothetical examples. In order to estimate the reduction effect of the ground loss by using the pre-loading method, three types of wall with the same ground conditions and the strut system have been considered. And each type of the walls has been clsssified again into twd categories depending on the rigidity of the temporary walls to invastigate the influence of wall rigidity on the reduction effect of ground loss owing to pre-loading in detail. The variation of underground water level has been evaluated by the seepage analysis. And the soil movement of the ground and axial force of struts in the back site of the excavation have been calculated by analyzing the soil behavior with the consideration of the underground water variation calculated by the seepage analysis. The reduced ground losses related to the magbitude of pre-loads have been determined by varying the pre-loads on the struts.
