The Impact of Buzz Marketing on Customer E-WOM Intention: An Empirical Study in Vietnam

Chi Minh LE,Minh Hoang DANG,Dinh Gia Trung TRAN,Thu Duyen TAT,Liem Thanh NGUYEN 한국유통과학회 2022 The Journal of Asian Finance, Economics and Busine Vol.9 No.2

Customers’ perceptions of information about a company’s products or services have altered as a result of the development of ICT and social networks. This gives rise to a fact that buzz marketing, which is a marketing technique employed commonly in today’s business and communication, has a significant impact on customers’ electronic word of mouth intention (e-WOM). However, very few studies about this issue have been conducted so far, which reveal a gap in understanding buzz marketing from an academic perspective. Based on the results of a cross-sectional survey in Binh Duong city, this study investigates the efficiency and effect of buzz marketing on customers’ e-WOM intention through mediating variables of message credibility. Data from 367 time-lagged individual samples were collected and analyzed by the structural equation modeling method (SEM). Results showed that creativity, clarity, and humor variables have a positive relationship with message credibility and then impact the intention to conduct e-WOM of social networks’ users. Marketing campaigns employing the buzz technique should be launched with easy-to-understand and entertainable messages. Findings from this study also provide managers with a scientific understanding of buzz marketing and the effectiveness of this technique as well as reveal the potential for future studies to explore further in this area.

The Role of Zn Doping on the Catalytic Activity of the Nanoparticle Perovskite La0.7Sr0.3MnO3

Tran Thi Minh Nguyet,Nguyen Quang Huan,Tran Que Chi,Do The Chan,Nguyen Doan Thai,Nguyen Cong Trang,Luu Tien Hung,Le Van Tiep,Nguyen Van Qui 한국물리학회 2008 THE JOURNAL OF THE KOREAN PHYSICAL SOCIETY Vol.52 No.5

The nanometer complex oxide La0:7Sr0.3Mn0.6Zn0.₄O₃ was prepared by using a Sol-Gel method with citric acid as a ligand. The in uence of Zn doping of La0.7Sr0.₃MnO₃ on the structure, the morphology, the surface properties and on the catalytic activity of material was studied by using X-ray diraction (XRD), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), a high-resolution images and selected area electron diraction (SAED), physical adsorption and temperature programmed surface reaction (TPSR) methods. The results showed that perovskite La0:7Sr0:3Mn0:6. Zn0.₄O₃ could well catalyse propene oxidation in the temperature range 190 { 280 ℃, which was reduced to 100 { 120 ℃ for catalyst La1-χSrχMnO₃ The nanometer complex oxide La0:7Sr0.3Mn0.6Zn0.₄O₃ was prepared by using a Sol-Gel method with citric acid as a ligand. Guidance of Nerve Stimulator and Ultrasound for Transforaminal Epidural Steroid Injection in Lumbosacral Radicular Pain : A Single Institution Experience in Vietnam

        Viet-Thang Le,Chi Hue Nguyen,Phuoc Trong Do,Anh Minh Nguyen,Khoi Hong Vo 대한신경외과학회 2024 Journal of Korean neurosurgical society Vol.67 No.2

Objective : This study aimed to evaluate the clinical feasibility of the combination of ultrasound and nerve stimulator guidance in transforaminal epidural steroid injections (TESIs) to manage lumbosacral chronic radicular pain. Methods : Using the combination of nerve stimulator and ultrasound guidance, TESIs were performed in 125 segments of 78 patients who presented with chronic lumbar radicular pain. Demographic characteristics and surgical outcomes were recorded on admission, pre-procedural and post-procedural for 1-week, 1-month, 3-month, and 6-month follow-ups. The result was measured using the Numeric rating scale (NRS) and Oswestry disability index (ODI). Results : Patients who received TESIs showed significant improvements on two evaluation tools (NRS, ODI), compared to that before procedure (p<0.001). No significant complications were observed for 6 months’ follow-up. Conclusion : The result suggests that a combination of ultrasound and nerve stimulator guidance in transforaminal epidural injections is safe, reliable and effective for short-term management of lumbar disc herniation. It is a promising technique and has shown good results in providing intermediate pain relief.

      • Laboratory Measurement of Mechanical and Hydraulic Apertures of Smooth Aluminum Joints under Different Confining Stresses

        ( Xuan-xinh Nguyen ),( Jia-jyun Dong ),( Chi-wen Yu ),( Tan-minh Le ) 대한지질공학회 2019 대한지질공학회 학술발표회논문집 Vol.2019 No.2

Fluid flow through rock mass is a critical issue for rock engineering practice and geoscience from shallow to great depth. Among others, the stress-dependent aperture of single fracture is a key for predicting the hydro-mechanical coupling effect of rock mass. To understand the reducing flow rate along a smooth joint with a reduction of aperture, laboratory measurements of mechanical/hydraulic apertures of sawed, polished aluminum samples via YOKO 2 system under a confining stress up to 120 MPa were conducted. The closure of smooth aluminum joints (reduction of mechanical aperture, E) under different normal stress was characterized based on the volume reduction measurements. The hydraulic aperture (e) was determined based on measured flow rate and a cubic law. The hysteresis of the mechanical/hydraulic aperture was observed. However, the permanent aperture closure decreases significantly after the first loading/unloading cycle. The stress dependency of apertures fit the hyperbolic function and semi-logarithmic closure law well. Based on the measurements, we found the ratio of mechanical aperture to hydraulic aperture (E/e) decreased with decreasing hydraulic aperture, which the existing model cannot predict the observed trend. The results of this study provide an important base line for depicting the relation between mechanical aperture and hydraulic aperture, which is widely used to predict the hydraulic aperture from mechanical aperture.
