Byeol-Seo means a villa which have designed for leisure, retire, recreation, and entertaining guests. Byeol-Seo is believed as one of important architectural type in traditional architecture of Korea. And lots of heritages construct in Jo-Seon dynasty are still remained. Most of previous researches on korean Byeol-Seo have focused on the period of Jo-Seon dynasty. but very few have given an attention to Go-Ryeo dynasty. This study, therefore, deal with the Byeol-Seo in Go-Ryeo dynasty by interpreting ancient literature. The result of this study suggests that the site and architectural planning might be the origin of Jo-Seon dynasty.

Recently DVD(Digital Versatile Disk) has been used in many areas. This paper presents new type of rotor magnet for spindle motor in DVD. In the new type of DVD, the rotor magnet, turntable and back yoke are integrated by one body injection mold. The magnet is magnetized in the process of injection. The injection mold is designed using finite element method. And the characteristics of the rotor magnet are analysed and compared with the experiment.

Stud connector has been used by shear connector of composite beam. Shear connector is important element to heighten composition rate of composite beam. This study based on the experiments of 15 specimens by Push-Out Test. In this paper, we analyze shear connector of other form instead of stud connector through an experimental study and wish to present application possibility to T-type Steel Composite beam.

This paper presents the characteristics analysis of a single-sided linear induction motor with secondary molten metals. The characteristics of a linear induction motor are analysed by the equivalent circuit method considering the end effects. For the verification of the analysis method, the locked test and load test with molten tin were made. The test results of locked test were compared with the simulations, and the velocity of the load test with molten tin showed 0.24[m/s] with air gap 30[mm] which is sufficient for transferring molten tin.
The Analysis of Liquid Metal Flow Characteristics in the Annular Passage of an Electromagnetic Pump

An electromagnetic pump using a tubular induction motor (TLIM) has been proposed to pump liquid metal fluids. TLIM has been designed for liquid metal flow systems with a motor with a thrust force of 40~77[N]. The flow characteristics have been investigated by solving the Navier-Stokes equation, where the Lorentz force was included simply by considering it as a constant in the Navier-Stokes equation. A wood metal was chosen to simulate the liquid metal. The effect of Lorentz force on the flow rate was investigated. An experiment was conducted and its results were compared with those of the simulation. The simulation result showed an overestimation of about 17% compared with the experimental one.
An Optimum Design of Tunnel Actuator using FEM and RSM to Improve the Performance

In th is paper, an optim um design of T unnel A ctuator(TA ) was proposed for im proving the performance using the finite element m etho d(F E M ) and response surface m etho d(R S M ). Five design variables were optim ized by R SM and 3D F E M to improve the performance of T A-thrust,detent force, and late ral force. The results from th is analysis showed an increase of 15% in the m axim um th ru st, a decrease of 36% in the lateral force, b u t also a sm all increase of the detent force.
