Purpose: To accelerate magnetic resonance fingerprinting (MRF) by developing a flexible deep learning reconstruction method. Materials and Methods: Synthetic data were used to train a deep learning model. The trained model was then applied to MRF for different organs and diseases. Iterative reconstruction was performed outside the deep learning model, allowing a changeable encoding matrix, i.e., with flexibility of choice for image resolution, radiofrequency coil, k-space trajectory, and undersampling mask. In vivo experiments were performed on normal brain and prostate cancer volunteers to demonstrate the model performance and generalizability. Results: In 400-dynamics brain MRF, direct nonuniform Fourier transform caused a slight increase of random fluctuations on the T2 map. These fluctuations were reduced with the proposed method. In prostate MRF, the proposed method suppressed fluctuations on both T1 and T2 maps. Conclusion: The deep learning and iterative MRF reconstruction method described in this study was flexible with different acquisition settings such as radiofrequency coils. It is generalizable for different in vivo applications.

Three new nor-dammarane triterpenoids, 12b-O-acetyl-15a-hydoxy-3-oxo-17-en-20,21,22-23,24,25,26,27-octanordammanran (1), 12b,28-O-diacetyl-15a-hydoxy-3-oxo-17-en-20,21,22-23,24,25,26,27-octanordammanran(2), 12b-hydoxy-3,15-dioxo-20,21,22-23,24,25,26,27-octanordammanran (3), together with one known compound,12b-O-acetyl-15a,28-dihydoxy-3-oxo-17-en-20,21,22-23,24,25,26,27-octanordammanran (4), were isolated from the 95 %EtOH extract of Dysoxylum hainanense. The structures of thenew compounds were elucidated by spectral methods. All thetriterpenoids were in vitro evaluated for their cytotoxic activitiesagainst four tumor cell lines (BGC-823, U251, HepG2and SGC-7901). All the three nor-dammarane triterpenoidsexhibited particular significant cytotoxic activities againstglioma cell line.

Portland cement concrete, which has higher strength and stiffness than asphalt concrete, has been widely applied on pavements. However, the brittle fracture characteristic of cement concrete restricts its application in highway pavement construction. Since the polypropylene fiber can improve the fracture toughness of cement concrete, Polypropylene Fiber-Reinforced Concrete (PFRC) is attracting more and more attention in civil engineering. In order to study the effect of polypropylene fiber on the generation and evolution process of the local deformation band in concrete, a series of three-point bending tests were performed using the new technology of the digital speckle correlation method for FRC notched beams with different volumetric contents of polypropylene fiber. The modified Double-K model was utilized for the first time to calculate the stress intensity factors of instability and crack initiation of fiber-reinforced concrete beams. The results indicate that the polypropylene fiber can enhance the fracture toughness. Based on the modified Double-K fracture theory, the maximum fracture energy of concrete with 3.2% fiber (in volume) is 47 times higher than the plain concrete. No effort of fiber content on the strength of the concrete was found. Meanwhile to balance the strength and resistant fracture toughness, concrete with 1.6% fiber is recommended to be applied in pavement construction.

Phytochemical investigation of the ethanolextract of the bulbs of Lycoris caldwellii afforded fournew alkaloids, (?)-N-methoxylcarbonyl-nandigerine (1),(?)-N-methoxycarbonyl-lindcarpine (2), (?)-10-O-methylhernovineN-oxide (3), and (?)-3-hydroxy-anhydrolycorineN-oxide (4). Structural elucidation of all the compounds wereperformed by spectral methods such as 1D and 2D (1H-1HCOSY, HMQC, and HMBC) NMR spectroscopy, in additionto high resolution mass spectrometry. All the alkaloids werein vitro evaluated for their cytotoxic activities against eighttumor cell lines (BEN-MEN-1, CCF-STTG1, CHG-5, SHG-44, U251, BGC-823, HepG2, and SK-OV-3). Alkaloids 1and 2 exhibited particular cytotoxic activities against astrocytomaand glioma cell lines with IC50 of 9.2–11.3 lM and10.4–12.2 lM respectively.

Traditional Chinese medicine classifies peripheral nerve impairment as paralysis and arthromyodynia, and considers that it is the result of defects of meridians and vessels, QI and blood, bones and muscles. Huangqi (Astragalus) Guizhi (Cassia Twig) Wuwu Tang, as a Qi invigorating formula, is usually used to improve peripheral nerve impairment. In recent years, some scholars have conducted research into Chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy (CIPN) treatment with Huangqi Guizhi Wuwu Tang and certain values of this treatment approach have been identified. CIPN is a type of blood-arthralgia Zheng in traditional Chinese medicine theory. In this review, we will discuss the treatment of CIPN with Huangqi Guizhi Wuwu Tang according to blood-arthtalgia Zheng.

With the help of new research tools -- the satellite aerial photography and digital elevation mode, the author illustrate the Fengshui 风水 Pattern and the central axis of Zhongdu 中都 City in a more intuitive and global perspective. Mountains are integrate into city space as landscape and defensive barriers, while the natural water system limits the size of the city. Additionally, combining the satellite aerial photography with the field survey, the author points out the exact position of the north Imperial City Wall and the shape of southwest corner of the Outer City Wall, filling the blank of previous research. Finally, with a grid, in unit of 25 zhang 丈, covering on the satellite picture of Zhongdu City, the author infers the design scales of triple city walls.
