        In this paper I studied the past developmental proces of physical education. In the course of studying I was able to learn about education practised in the past, the image of human beings demanded in the past and the influences which physical education exercise on politics, economy, military affairs, religion, art and climatic or geographical circumstances. In the long history of human beings I have found different images of human beings according to changes of the times. These image varied from the harmonious growth of mind and body, training strong soldiers to desiring only the soul.

        There are Various traditional arts in korea. However, the wrestling Peculiar to korea gives an impression like a national sport. The objects of the korean wrestling are to Promote mutual friendship and to improve physical conditions. And it has been played as a healthy sport of a recreation. They held the Wrestling Contest in most parts of the country on the Dan-O(the 5th day of the fifth lunar month) of on Chu-Seok (the 15th of August by the lunar Calender) to cultivate courageous mental Power and to harden the body . A thousand of People gathered together from various parts of the Country when they held the wrestling contest. And the wrestling of the younger generation has been Prosperous in that way in korea.

      • 力動的 總評이 數學態度 및 數學成就에 미치는 效果分析

        This study is aimed at examining the effects of the dynamic assessment on the mathematics attitude and achievement. Forty senior high school students were assigned to the two conditions of experiment: dynamic assessment (N=20) and traditional evaluation (N=20). The experiment was conducted by dynamic assessment such as writing essays, conducting experiments, providing written answers to problems or preparing portfolios. The results obtained from this experiment were as follows: First, the dynamic assessment showed a higher positive attitude on mathematics learning than the traditional evaluation. Second, the dynamic assessment showed a critically higher achievement on mathematics learning. A conclusion derived here is that the dynamic assessment is definitely a strong factor to bring higher cognitive skills, and thus an integrated instruction and assessment in mathematics must be encouraged.

      • 展開板에 대한 數値解析 : 1. 展開板 주위에서의 유체흐름의 패턴 1. Pattern of Fluid Flow besides Otter Board

        平板型과 彎曲型展開板 주위에서의 流體特性을 파악하기 위하여 回流水槽에서 水素氣泡法에 의한 可視化實驗을 流速 0.05 및 0.1m/sec, 迎角 0˚~45˚까지 5˚ 간격으로 流線과 타임라인에 대해서 실시하였다. 1. 彎曲型展開板에서의 流線은 영각 20˚까지는 균일한 분포를 이루다가 영각 25˚에서 後面에 인접한 流線이 翼弦長의 1/3 지점에서 剝離가 시작되며 인접한 流線은 展開板의 후면쪽으로 휘어들어가고, 그리고 영각 35˚ 이상에서는 前緣에서 부터 剝離가 시작되면 迎角이 증가할수록 剝離層이 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 2. 平板型展開板에서는 영각 20˚부터 前緣에서 渦와 剝離가 발생되며, 剝離層은 彎曲型과 마찬가지로 영각에 비례하는 것으로 나타났다. 3. 後緣에서 발생한 渦의 크기가 前緣의 것보다 약 2~3배 큰것으로 나타났다. 4. 展開板의 後緣에서 流線은 양 展開板 모두 展開板의 방향과 같은 방향으로 흐르다가 점차 유체흐름과 같은 방향이 되는 것으로 나타났다. 5. 展開板 前後面에서의 流速差는 영각 0˚~30˚에서 점차 증가하다가 영각 35˚이상에서는 그 차가 비슷하게 나타났다. 6. 영각 20˚~30˚에서 前後面의 流速差는 彎曲型의 경우 後面의 流速이 前面보다 약 1.4~1.5배 빠르게 나타났으며, 平板型은 약 1.2배 빠르게 나타났다. The authors carried out a visiualizational model test by the hydrogen bubble method to examine the pattern of the fluid flow besides the simple camber type and plane type otter board in circulation water channel. The experimental conditions are velocity of flow 0.05 and 0.1m/sec, angle of attack 0˚∼45˚(5˚step). The results obtained are as follows: 1. In the case of the simple camber type otter board located angle of attack 25˚, vortex at the leading edge was geneated at 1/2 of chord length. 2. Size of the vortex generated in the trailing edge was about 2∼3 times larger then that of the leading edge. 3. In the case of the simple camber type otter board located angle of attack 30˚, separation of stream-line at leading edge was generated at 1/3 of chord length. 4. In the case of the plane type otter board, separation of stream-line at leading edge was generated from angle of attack 20˚. 5. Nearest stream-line in the back side of the simple camber type otter board was bent in the direction of otter board when the angle of attack was 25˚ and 30˚, and in the case of plane type otter board was expanded outside of the flow direction. 6. Area separated of the simple camber type otter board at the angle of attack 30˚ was smaller then that of plane type otter board. 7. Flow speed in the back side of the simple camber type otter board was about 1.4 times faster then that in the front side, and in the case of the plane otter board about 1.2 times faster.

      • 휠체어 검도 경기를 위한 경기규정에 관한 연구

        The purpose of this study was to build revised game rules for wheelchair Kumdo for the physically challenged confined to wheelchair, after teaching 10 people how to play Wheelchair Kumdo. It's ultimately intended to determine whether or not the revised game regulations were appropriate and workable and ultimately to promote Wheelchair Kumdo. There Kumdo trainees of the 4th, 5th and 6th grades respectively and three physically different people were coached to draft game rules in three phases, and they were finalized through an advice of a specialist. And then five disabled Kumdo trainees, who included three of the 3rd grade and two of the 2nd grade, learned the regulations for a month to find out their adequacy. As a result of interviewing them and analysing the collected data, the following findings were given: First, the stadium should have a flat floor, by using proper materials such as wood or concrete, to guarantee the smooth operation of wheelchair. It should be in a square form and 11 meter or higher in length. The starting lines should bo marked 'T' on both sides from the central line, and the upper parts of the marks should face each other. There should be 1.7m distance between the central and starting lines and 2 meter or higher extra spaces in the external sides. Second, the bamboo sword should be redesigned to be 114cm in length and 370g in weight to fit in wheelchair Kumdo. Third, among Kumdo equipment, Homyun(護面, Headgear), part of HoKu(Protection-equipment, 護具), should be made of lighter materials, thicker in the head part, and easy to wear. Gab(甲, Chest-guard) should have a sort of shock absorber in it, and a remodeled Hoku that has no wings on both sides should be used. To prevent wheelchair from shock and ensure its safety, a Quickie All Court model should be selected, and each contestant should wear a suit of different color that has his or her name on the shoulder portion. Fourth, each game should run four minutes, constituted by two periods, and a break time should be given. The judgment should be made without no extra time, and a contestant who hits one of the due points ahead of the other should be a winner. Fifth, as for Yuhyo-Geokja(有效擊刺, Point), action against the head, wrist or waist should be considered Geokja(擊刺, Strike), and one against the chest part should be regarded as Jabu(刺部, Stab). Based on the above-mentioned findings, there are some suggestions about wheelchair Kumdo games: First, as games could be held out in the field, outdoor programs should be attempted. Second, every game is divided into the first and second periods, and coaches need to develop programs suitable for the two-part competition to give better guidance. Third, general Kumdo equipment isn't suitable for wheelchair Kumdo, and a lot of research efforts should urgently be dedicated to developing separate equipment for that.

        Competitive Adsorption and Subsequent Desorption of Sulfate in the Presence of Various Anions in Soils

        In this experiment we investigated the influence of various anions including oxalic acid encountered as solution phase in soil on the adsorption and desorption of sulfate in Chungwon Bt soil. The effect of chloride and nitrate on the adsorption of sulfate was not significant, suggesting that sulfate was better able to compete for adsorption sites at concentrations studied, in contrast to the large reduction in the amount of chloride adsorbed in the presence of sulfate. The results of competition for sorption sites between sulfate and anion showed that the simultaneous presence of two anions in solution was effective in reduction of competing anion at a maximum value of adsorption, due to the similar adsorption mechanism for anion competition. Therefore, the variation in the buffer power of the acids will produce a change in the strength and amount of adsorption and the competitive ability.

        Precipitate Prediction Model of Mg-xAl(x=3,6,9) Alloys

        A model was developed to predict the precipitation of Mg17Al12 in Mg-(3,6,9)wt%Al alloys. The phase equilibrium of the Mg-Al alloy system was calculated in detail by utilizing a phase diagram calculation commercial package and other thermodynamic data for Mg alloys. The precipitation kinetics of Al in Mg-(3,6,9)wt%Al alloys after different thermal treatments were studied by measuring electrical resistivity and hardness. The results obtained were explained by a model based on a simple nucleation and growth model and were compared with the measured precipitates volume fraction. And, the experimental results agreed on the thermodynamic data with the conditions of 12 hr for Mg-3Al, 30 min for Mg-6Al, 15 min for Mg-9Al alloys. Therefore, the model was applied to predict the effects of the precipitation of Mg17Al12.

        This paper describes functional verification on adaptive FIR filter using SystemVerilog. SystemVerilog has characteristics of hardware description languages and hardware verification language by expansion of Verilog HDL. Adaptive filter is a kind of FIR filter using adaptive algorithm. In this paper, testbench-based verification environment which verifies the functionality of adaptive FIR filter has a layered structure and is implemented with SystemVerilog.
