      • Shigometer를 이용한 서울과 수원 가로수의 전기저항 비교

        To compare the vitality of street trees in Seoul and Suwon, electrical resistance of cambial area (ERCA) were measured in each trees. Examined areas were 2 localities each of Seoul and Suwon. In both areas, total 611 streetl trees of 2 species, Ginkgo biloba L. and Salix pseudo-lasiogyne Lev., were examined. ERCA measuring was accomplished from August 13, 1983 to September 1, 1983, under the uniform conditions. A field ohmmeter (Shigometer, model OZ-67) was used for the measurement of ERCA. There was significant (p<0.01) correlation between ERCA and the tree diameter at breast height (DBH). In all trees, ERCA decreased with the increase of DBH. The ERCA of trees in Seoul was significantly (p(0.05 in Ginkgo biloba, and p<0.01 in Salix pseudo- lasiogyne) higher than that of Suwon. However, there was no significant difference in ERCA between foootway side and driveway side of each tree.

        한 · 중 · 일 3국간에는 문화적 동질성과 지리적인 인접성, 그리고 경제적인 측면에서는 상호보완관계로의 발전가능성이 굉장히 높은 지역이다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 향후 3국간 FTA를 추진함에 있어 그 가능성에 대한 사전적 검토를 하였다. 3국 간에는 매년 기술과 자본이 축적되면서 교역량이 증가하고 있으나, 교역구조면에서 한국의 대일 무역적자와 일본의 대중 무역적자, 그리고 중국의 대한 무역 적자라는 3국간 교역상의 균형관계가 좀처럼 개선되지 않고 있음을 재확인하였다. 이러한 교역국간 무역불균형이 심화되어 통상마찰의 우려가 있을 시에는 3국간 무역과 투자의 연계전략을 통해서 해결되어야 한다. 즉 무역과 투자는 세계화의 추세에 적극적으로 부응하는 전략이므로, FTA 체결 시 전제조건은 3국간의 무역과 연계한 투자가 이루어진다면 경제통합의 가능성은 충분히 발전되어질 것으로 전망된다.

        Q-Methodological Approach on Type Analysis of Elderly Participating in Health Qigong after COVID-19

        Purpose: In this study, analysis was conducted using the Q-methodology to find out the types of elderly people participating in Health Qigong after COVID-19. The Q-methodology studies human subjectivity by considering an individual's perception, attitude, emotion, and behavior toward an object at the same time. Method: In the research procedure, the Q-population was first constructed and the Q sample statement was prepared. In the Q-population, 85 data were obtained through in-depth interviews, 46 data obtained through a literature review were derived, and 131 were finally derived as the primary statement. Comprehensive data were analyzed through in-depth interviews, related literature research, and expert meetings, and a total of 34 Q-sam-ple statements related to the research topic were extracted. Data analysis was performed using the QUNAL-PC program, and the principal component factor analysis method was used for factor analysis. Results: As a result of the study, the elderly who participated in Health Qigong were found to be the final four types. Type I was classified as an active participation type among the elderly participating in Health Qigong. Type II was classified as a type that recognized that Health Qigong training was connected with healing. Type III was classified as a type recognized that Health Qigong is related to psychological sympathy, that is, emotional state. Type IV was classified as a type that recognizes that it is possible to make new colleagues while socializing with others through Health Qigong. Conclusion: Currently, Korean society is going through an age of super-aging, and there is a view that sees old age as a time of new creation. Therefore, prepare for successful aging, it is necessary to find a positive way to improve the lives of the elderly. The classification contents of the elderly participating in Health Qigong derived as a result of this study reflect the perception and attitude of the elderly participating in physical activity well.

        CH_3CN의 기본진동수를 GF방법으로 계산하고 실험값과 비교하였다. Kr 매트릭스 방법을 이용하여 CH_3CN의 이합체에 대한 far-FTIR스펙트럼을 얻었다. 128과 112㎝^-1 띠가 반선형구조임을 확인했고 다른 실험의 Ar 매트릭스 값과 비교 검토 하였다.

        Beyond EGFR inhibition: multilateral combat strategies to stop the progression of head and neck cancer

        <▼1><P>Epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) overexpression is common in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma. Targeted therapy specifically directed towards EGFR has been an area of keen interest in head and neck cancer research, as EGFR is potentially an integration point for convergent signaling. Despite the latest advancements in cancer diagnostics and therapeutics against EGFR, the survival rates of patients with advanced head and neck cancer remain disappointing due to anti-EGFR resistance. This review article will discuss recent multilateral efforts to discover and validate actionable strategies that involve signaling pathways in heterogenous head and neck cancer and to overcome anti-EGFR resistance in the era of precision medicine. Particularly, this review will discuss in detail the issue of cancer metabolism, which has recently emerged as a novel mechanism by which head and neck cancer may be successfully controlled according to different perspectives.</P></▼1><▼2><P><B>Cancer therapy: Combination strategies for head and neck cancer</B></P><P>South Korean researchers propose novel combination strategies for overcoming drug resistance and halting the progression of head and neck cancer (HNC). Although high levels of epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) protein in HNC correlate with reduced survival, patients’ response to the EGFR inhibitor cetuximab often declines rapidly after a short period of effectiveness. Hyung Kwon Byeon at Korea University College of Medicine in Seoul and colleagues review current knowledge of the mechanisms underlying cetuximab resistance. They suggest that evaluating a patient’s genetic profile and combining cetuximab with drugs that enhance the effects of inhibiting EGFR signaling pathways (with inhibitors of other EGFR family members or proteins that mediate EGFR entry to the cell nucleus, for example) as well as with agents that inhibit cancer cell metabolism could be a more effective approach for treating HNC.</P></▼2>

        Static Bending Performances of Cross-Laminated Wood Panels Made with Tropical and Temperate Woods

        In this study, for using effectively domestic (temperate) small and medium diameter logs as a wooden floorboard, cross-laminated wood panels were manufactured using domestic larch and tulip woods as a base material for teak and merbau wood flooring, and static bending strength performances were measured to investigate the applicability as the base materials of wooden flooring in place of plywood. Static bending MOE was much influenced by the strength performances of the top layer lamina than that of the laminae for base materials. Bending MOR showed the higher values in tulip wood that was hardwoods than in larch wood that was softwoods regardless of the strength performances of the top layer laminae, and it was found that the values were much influenced by the strength performances of the base materials used in the core and bottom layers. However these values were 1.4-2.5 times higher values than the bending strength of the wooden floorboards specified in KS, it was found that it can be sufficiently applied to the base materials of wooden floorboards in place of plywood.

        Bending Creep Property of Cross-Laminated Woods Made With Six Domestic Species

        In this study, with the view to using effectively small and medium diameter Korean domestic woods as struc-tural materials, cross-laminated woods were manufactured by using six species of Korean domestic softwoods and hardwoods, and bending creep properties were investigated for each species. The creep curves showed the shape of the exponential function plot, and the creep curves after 1 hour were able to estimate by fitting it to the power law. The initial and creep compliances of cross-laminated woods showed the higher values in wood species with a low density than in that with a high density. And by cross-laminating, the initial and creep com-pliances perpendicular to the grain considerably decreased, the extent of the decrease was found to be greater in creep deformation than in initial deformation. The creep anisotropies of cross-laminated woods were consid-erably decreased by cross-laminating. The relative creep of C<sub>⊥</sub> type composed of perpendicular-direction lamina in the faces decreased 0.59 - 0.64 times compared to that of P<sub>⊥</sub> type composed of perpendicular-direction lami-nae in all layers, and that for C<sub>∥</sub> type composed of parallel-direction laminae in the faces increased 1.5 - 1.6 times compared to that of P<sub>∥</sub> type composed of parallel-direction laminae in all layers.
