In this paper, airflow and heat transfer analyses for a center mounting HVAC system were performed using commercial CFD code. For the bi-level mode of the HVAC system, the rate of airflow through the system has its maximum value when the temperature-controlling door is at quarter opening rate. As temperature-controlling door opens wide, the static temperature at every outlet of the system increases showing the linearity with respect to the opening rate of temperature-controlling door. Although there was difference in temperature between each outlet, the magnitude of temperature difference was considered to be acceptable.

시정은 중요한 대기질 척도의 하나이며, 시정은 주로 온도, 습도, 안개, 스모그와 같은 환경적 요소에 의해 영향을 받는다. 특히, 도로에서 안개 등으로 인해 갑작스럽게 시정이 악화되는 경우 이를 사전에 운전자에게 효과적으로 알려주는 것은 교통안전을 위해 매우 중요하다. 본 논문에서는, 시정의 감소는 영상에서 대비의 감소로 나타난다는 점을 이용하여 도로에 설치된 카메라로부터 실시간 모니터링이 가능한 시정측정 방법을 제안한다. 제안된 방법은 영상으로부터 대비를 추출하고 이를 수학적 목적식에 대입하여 쉽고 빠르게 시정을 측정할 수 있도록 함으로써 인간의 시정과 유사하면서도 정량화 및 자동화가 가능한 실시간 도로시정 모니터링 시스템을 개발하는데 그 목표가 있다.

As lamp system is considered as one of the most important components that determine the image of car, most of manufacturers place great emphasis on lamp design for their success in the development of new car. In this research various techniques of advanced CFD analysis were suggested so as to simulate more physical phenomena and improve the accuracy of estimating lamp performance and support the effective success in esthetic design of lamp system after all.

Ejector is one of the most robust device of recirculating hydrogen discharged from a stack of fuel cell vehicle. In spite of the simplicity of its geometry the structure of turbulent supersonic flow in an ejector is more complex than expected. In this research CFD analysis was performed to simulate the real supersonic flow in ejectors. As a result, the mechanism of mixing process of two kinds of gas was clearly understood and the performance and efficiency of both single ejector and dual ejector were estimated as well.

The large amount of energy is consumed in a process for keeping the high temperature melting pool. For this reason, in addition to the wastes input to keep the high temperature melting pool, it is necessary for an auxiliary fuel and LOx to throw into the melting pool. So in this study, using a new melting furnace system, the experiments to keep the melting pool with minimal energy without throwing an auxiliary fuel and LOx was carried out. Also it is hoped that the results of the experiment will be available to analyze keeping a melting pool and behavior in a melting furnace.
