        한우, 칡소 및 제주 흑우 Calpain-Calpastatin 유전자 다양성

        The aim of study was to investigate genetic diversity for the calpain/calpastatin gene in three Hanwoo breeds [(Brown (n=62), Brindle (n=81) and Jeju Black (n=30)]. Random samples from three breeds of Hanwoo were selected and genotyped for the 7 SNPs of calpain/calpastatin using TaqMan method. Allele frequencies were investigated for CAPN1/CAST gene. Allele frequency of CAST2 SNP was 0.75, 0.59 and 0.22 for Brown, Brindle and Jeju black, respectively. The CAST3 revealed allele frequency of 0.59 and 0.57 in Brown and Jeju Black, while it showed very low allele frequency (0.07) in Brindle. In particular, favorable allele (G allele) for the CAPN1-2 SNP which was shown a strong association with tenderness in Taurine and Indicine cattle revealed 16% and 17% higher allele frequency in Brown Hanwoo (0.82) comparing Brindle (0.66) and Jeju Black Hanwoo (0.65). AMOVA demonstrated that among population variance occupied only 10% of total variance and among individual variance was 0%, while within individual variance was 90% of total variance. This result showed that population effect contributed very small portion of genetic to these three Hanwoo breeds, while within individual variance contributed large portion of genetic diversity within these Hanwoo breeds. In conclusion, three Hanwoo breeds (Brown, Brindle and Jeju black) showed a genetically homogeneous based on the 7 SNPs of CAPN1/CAST gene and it came from same ancestor to form modern Hanwoo breed.

      • 유한요소 해석을 이용한 현장 콘크리트 부착강도 측정조건

        The performance of old and the new concrete construction depends upon bond strength between old and the new concrete. Current adhesive and strength measurement method ignores the effect of stress concentration from shape of specimens. Therefore, this research calculates stress concentration coefficient as the ratio of drilling depth to drilling diameter(h_s/D), the ratio of overlay thickness to drilling diameter(h_o/D), the ratio of steel disk thickness to drilling diameter(t/D), the ratio of overlay elastic modulus to substrate modulus(E_l/E_0), the distance from core to corner border(L_corner) and the distance between cores(L_core) vary. The finite element method is adapted to analysis. The results from the F.E.M analysis are as follows : The stress concentration effects can be minimized when the ratio of drilling depth to drilling diameter(h_s/D) is 0.20∼0.25, the elastic modulus ratio(E_l/E_0) is 0.6~1.0, and the ratio of steel disk thickness to drilling diameter(t/D) is 3.0. The overlay thickness, the distance from specimens to corner border(L_corner), the distance between cores(L_core) almost do not affect to the stress concentration.

        This thesis studies the possibility of deconstructive metatheatre as a playspace in Pirandello`s Six Characters in Search of an Author and Beckett`s Waiting For Godot. Pirandello seems to be interested in the problems between reality and illusion, realism and anti-realism in life or theatre. He has made efforts to deconstruct the thick wall that lies in the realistic play derived from Plato and Aristotle, as well as the deep difference between life and theatre, actor and character, a text and a work, author and spectator. He uses such several techniques as signifiant wordplay, transformation, telegraphic word, position change, linguistic violence, pantomime, silence to deconstruct all theatrical obstacles for a shocking pleasant improvised performance. As he doesn`t regard real world and theatre as an organic complete unity full of absolute meanings but a plastic pluralistic playspace of disbelief and struggle, he searches for a new writing method based on Strindberg`s expressionism, Breton`s surrealism, and Artaud`s cruel ritualism. Although his experimental dark comedy, Six Characters in Search of an Author may be a mixture of tragic and comic, fantastic and realistic, it must be the beginning of anti-realistic performance followed into poststructual super-realistic theatre of Shepard and Mamet. Its intertexuality and signifiant wordplay connect itself with Derrida`s and Barthes` new creative writing based on Nietzschee`s pleasant aesthetics, that destroyed the binary linguistic system of western metaphysical philosophy. Influenced by Strindberg, Pirandello, Artaud, Breton, Sartre, Camus, and joyce, Beckett sings the song that life is a meaningless and monotonous performance of endlessly repeated routine. To suggest the debasement of metaphysical linguistic philosophy and the consequent breakdown of communication between inactive weak men organized by Rousseau`s and Descartes` reasonal philosophy, Beckett uses such linguistic tricks as word game, pun, allusion reminded of Williams` and O`Neill`s clownish black comedians that describe signifiant linguistic play for survival. Beckett deconstructs traditional concepts of realistic drama, as well as mechanical human relationships brought forth by formalistic structuralism or semiotics. His representative expressionistic absurd work, Waiting for Godot deals with the important dark problem of lingulsitic paralysis in majour signifiant signs(characters) that are psychically isolated from one another despite physical proximity. Trying to give spectators and characters the alternative to relieve them in entropy of linguistic stagnation, Beckett creates a stubborn comedian who can have a free command of word game with spiritual composure and pleasant aesthetics. Vladimir repeatedly talks to Estragon who gradually turns weak in the dramatic processing, to survive together in the dark negative situations. Although he may not be such active imaginative poet as William`s or O`Neill`s powerful insane clowns, Vladimir doesn`t stop his disseminating actions and meaningless signifiant wordplay like differance of traces in the black space that nothing happens.

        유한요소해석을 이용한 현장 덧씌우기 콘크리트의 부착강도 평가 방법 제안

        Significant improvements in bond strength between new and existing concrete can be achieved through the modification of the new concrete by latex modification. But, no test method has been adopted as a standard to measure the bond strength between the concrete used to repair and the substrate being repaired. The performance of old and the new concrete construction defends upon band strength between old and the new concrete. Current adhesion strength measurement method is inaccurate method that ignore effect of stress concentration by shape of specimens. Therefore, this research calculates stress concentration coefficient using finite element analysis and direction tensile strength test (pull-off test). The result shows that the required core depth is 2.5cm. Elastic modulus and overlay thickness do not influence in stress concentration.

      • 離乳仔豚의 大賜菌 설사병에 관한 硏究

        Outbreaks of piglet diarrhoea were investigated in 6 pig herds involving 2,545 piglets from 293 farrowings in Kyungnam province with particular regard to weanling colibacillary diarrhoea. Some investigations on the effect of feeding Streptococcus faecium Cernelle 68 on the prevention and treatment of postweaning diarrhoea of piglets were also studied. The incidence rate of postweaning diarrhoea of piglets was 13.6% while that of baby piglet diarrhoea (1 week diarrhoea) and milk scours (3 week diarrhoea) were 9.0% and 23.3%, respectively. As much as 61.5% (64 of 104 cases) of piglets with postweaning diarrhoea were associated with Escherichia coli infection while 8.7% of them were proved to be Salmonella infection. However, the causes of the remaining cases (29.8%) were left yet to be determined. Fifty-eight of 64 cultures (90.6%) of haemolytic E. coli recovered from piglets with postweaning colibaciliary diarrhoea classified into a few 0 groups, the most prevalent 0 groups being in decreasing order 0138 (29.7%), 0149 (20.3%), 08(14.1%) and 0141(12.5%). Peroral administration of St. faecium Cernelle 68 at the rate of 2 X 10^(9)c.f.u./day for the first 3 days of postweaning life has reduced significantly the occurrence of diarrhoea. Significant difference in diarrhoic scores were noted from 4 to 10 days postweaning. The duration of scours in piglets with postweaning diarrhoea was reduced significantly provided the oral administration of St. faecium Cernelle 68 (2x 10^(9) c.f.u./dose) twice daily was given to diarrhoic piglets in addition to antibiotic treatment. The effect of St. faecium on the treatment of diarrhoea in piglets responded additionally to that of sensitive antibiotics.

      • LMC로 보강된 철근 콘크리트 보의 부착파괴 거동에 관한 실험적 연구

        이 논문은 동일 조건에서 양생되어진 LMC 보강 철근 콘크리트의 특성 및 보강 효과에 대하여 연구되었다. 이때 변수는 스터럽의 유무와 보강높이를 변화하여 실험을 실시하였다. 시험편돌의 처짐과 철근의 변형은 보의 중심에서 다이얼 게이지 그리고 스트레인 게이지로 측정되었다. 실험 결과는 LMC의 철근 콘크리트가 OPC의 것보다 상당히 높은 초기 균열 하중을 보여주었다. 이것은 라텍스 필림 막에 의해 수화한 시멘트와 골재의 맞물림 작용에 기인할 수 있다. 라텍스의 추가는 균열 하중을 상당히 줄일 수 있었고, 극한 강도, 철근 변형, 처짐은 일반 콘크리트의 것과 유사하게 측정되어, LMC로 압축부 및 인장부를 보강할 경우 보강효과가 있는 것을 알 수 있었다. The purpose of this study was to study the reinforced concrete beam properties of LMC with the main experimental variables such as concrete types(ordinary portland cement concrete, latex modified concrete), the use of stirrup and curing days at the same controlled environment of 60 % of relative humidity and 20 ℃ of temperature. The deflection and steel's strain for specimens were measured with a dial gauge and strain gauge at the center of beam. The test results showed that the reinforced concrete of LMC was considerably higher initial cracking load than that of OPC. This might be attributed to the interlocking of hydrated cement and aggregates by a film of latex particles, water retention due to hydrophobic, and colloidal properties of the latexes resulted in reduced water evaporation. As a result, the addition of latex would be able to reduce considerably cracking load. However, similar to ultimate strength, steel strains, and deflection of concrete than that of OPC. It may be considered that reinforcing steel affected in the concrete beam than that of concrete.

        A decision support system is introduced for the efficient operation of port container terminals. It consists of ship planning subsystem, yard planning subsystem, resource management subsystem, real-time control subsystem, and simulation subsystem. The system is intended to support the planning process of the planners and the operation process of the administrators in the container terminals. It is assumed that the transfer crances and the yard tractor/trailers are used to handle containers in the marshaling yard. The system is explained in terms of the functions of each subsystem and the data flows among various subsystems.

      • 황 첨착 활성탄에 의한 구리제거

        This study was carried out to remove copper ion in case of activated carbon impregnated sulphur(ACS) dose and different pH using activated carbon impregnated sulphur that prepared from activated carbon at sulphur dioxide atmosphere. Removal copper ion concentration was increased as increasing the ACS dose when copper ion concentration was 10 mg/L. Optimum dose of ACS 13.3 g ACS/L and maximum removal efficiency was 93%. The results obtained from adsorption experiment in the condition of ACS optimum dose when the pH was 3, 4, 5 respectively was pH 5 was excellent.
