In the paper we establish some new results depending on the comparative growth properties of composite entire and meromorphic functions using relative (p, q, t)L-th order and relative (p, q, t)L-th type of entire and meromorphic function with respect to another entire function.
Square footing on geocell reinforced cohesionless soils
Biswas, Sefali,Mittal, Satyendra Techno-Press 2017 Geomechanics & engineering Vol.13 No.4
Ground improvement with use of geosynthetic products is globally accepted now. The present paper discusses the improvement in bearing capacity of square footing placed at surface of cohesionless soil reinforced with geocell. Mohr-Coulomb failure criterion has been used in the observations. To study effects of geocell with respect to planar geogrid, model tests were conducted on planar reinforcement also. A comparative study of unreinforced soil and soil reinforced with plane geogrid and geocell has also been made. Numerical analysis results obtained by PLaxis have been compared with those obtained from model tests and were found to be in good agreement. A parametric study revealed the role of length of reinforcement, spacing between layers, placement of reinforcement from top surface etc. on bearing capacity. A design example given in paper illustrates the savings in cost of construction of footing on reinforced sand. The study shows that there is improvement in bearing capacity with respect to unreinforced soil which is of the order of 86%. Similarly settlement reduction is 13.07% for single layer of geocell which for double layers of geocell is 693% and 86.48% respectively. The cost reduction in case of reinforced soil is 35% as compared to unreinforced soil.

Orders and types of entire functions have been actively investigated by many authors. In this paper, we investigate some basic properties in connection with sum and product of relative (p, q, t) L-th order, relative (p, q, t) L-th type, and relative (p, q, t) L-th weak type of entire functions with respect to another entire function where $p,q{\in}{\mathbb{N}}$ and $t{\in}{\mathbb{N}}{\cup}\{-1,0\}$.
ITERATED ENTIRE FUNCTIONS AND THEIR GROWTH PROPERTIES ON THE BASIS OF (p, q)-TH ORDER
Biswas, Tanmay,Choi, Junesang,Das, Pranab,Datta, Sanjib Kumar The Honam Mathematical Society 2016 호남수학학술지 Vol.38 No.1
Entire functions have been investigated so popularly to have been divided into a large number of specialized subjects. Even the limited subject of entire functions is too vast to be dealt with in a single volume with any approach to completeness. Here, in this paper, we choose to investigate certain interesting results associated with the comparative growth properties of iterated entire functions using (p, q)-th order and (p, q)-th lower order, in a rather comprehensive and systematic manner.

Analysis of bacterial communities based on their 16S rDNA sequences revealed the predominance of Proteobacteria (Aeromonas sp., Acinetobacter sp. and Thaueraamino aromatica sp.) and uncultured bacterium in activated sludge from the effluent treatment plant (ETP) of Mother Dairy, Calcutta (India). Each isolate was used for bioremediation of dairy wastewater with simultaneous conversion of nitrogenous pollutants into ammonia. A consortium developed using seven of these isolates and three Bacillus strains from different environmental origins could reduce 93% nitrate with simultaneous production of ammonia (626 ㎍/100 ml) within 20 h in non-aerated, immobilized conditions as compared to 82% nitrate reduction producing 2.4 ㎍/100 ml ammonia in 96 h with extensive aeration in a conventional ETP. The treated ammonia-rich effluent could be used instead of freshwater and fertilizer during cultivation of mung bean with 1.6-fold increase in grain yield. The ETP with the surrounding agricultural land makes this process a zero liquid discharge technology for using the biofertilizer generated. In addition, the process requires minimal energy supporting sustained environmental health. This method is thus proposed as an alternative approach for small-scale dairy ETPs.
Interlayer Trions in 2D Transition-Metal Dichalcogenide Heterostructures
Biswas Chandan,SEBAIT RIYA 한국물리학회 2020 THE JOURNAL OF THE KOREAN PHYSICAL SOCIETY Vol.77 No.10
A dimensionally confined dielectric constant and reduced dielectric screening lead to two-dimensional transition-metal dichalcogenides (TMDs). The confined dielectric constant triggers a strong Coulomb interaction and high exciton binding energies between TMD heterostructures. Here we show a highly efficient interlayer charged exciton or trion formation and its generation sites are present in materials at room temperature. Two different transition metals (Mo, W) and chalcogenide (S, Se) elements were investigated in two different heterostructure combinations (MoS2-WS2 and MoSe2-WS2). Room temperature photoluminescence measurements demonstrate a highly efficient trion formation between and close to the heterostructure interfaces. This study highlights an effective band alignment, strong photoexciting Coulomb interaction, and formation of interlayer trions with different recombination energies. This investigation suggests the possibility of utilizing interlayer trions in promising optoelectronic devices in the future.
