Dynamic Research of Multi-Body Mechanical Systems of Angle Measurement
Artūras Kilikevičius,Albinas Kasparaitis 한국정밀공학회 2017 International Journal of Precision Engineering and Vol.18 No.8
Analysis of the influence of vibrations on the calibration uncertainty of an angle limb is crucial for achieving high calibration accuracy. In modern equipment, the calibration is implemented in dynamic mode when the position of the raster elements is detected in the motion of the comparator’s movable components. The research object of this work is a newly designed angle measurement comparator that operates in dynamic mode. The main aim of this research is to determine the dynamic effects influence to the accuracy of the angle comparator. During the modelling of calibration errors related to dynamic influences, it is necessary to evaluate elastic deformations related to the vibrations excited by internal and external sources. Dangerous resonance frequencies and the character of the elastic deformations of the precise angle comparator carriage, which increase the angle calibration error, were evaluated. The novelty of the research should show that the elastic deformation of main component, caused by dynamic effects, has a significant influence to an accuracy of the precision systems, which are working in dynamic mode. The evaluation of the dynamic effects is necessary during the design and exploitation of precision measurement systems.
RATIONAL DIFFERENCE EQUATIONS WITH POSITIVE EQUILIBRIUM POINT
Artūras Dubickas 대한수학회 2010 대한수학회보 Vol.47 No.3
In this note we study positive solutions of the mth order rational difference equation xn = (a0 +∑m i=1 aixn−i)/(b0 +∑m i=1 bixn−i),where n = m,m+1,m+2, . . . and x0, . . . , xm−1 > 0. We describe a sufficient condition on nonnegative real numbers a0, a1, . . . , am, b0, b1, . . . , bm under which every solution xn of the above equation tends to the limit (A − b0 +p(A − b0)2 + 4a0B)/2B as n ! 1, where A =∑m i=1 ai and B =∑m i=1 bi.
The place of multicultural education in legal acts concerning teacher education in Norway
Benediktsson Artëm Ingmar 한국다문화교육학회 2022 Multicultural Education Review Vol.14 No.4
This paper includes an analysis of legal acts concerning primary and lower secondary teacher education in Norway. The objective is to determine how multicultural education is perceived in these acts – whether it is regarded as a supplementary subject or as a mindset that underlies teacher education. The theoretical framework includes critical multiculturalism and multicultural education theory. A document content analysis approach has been applied during the analytical process, in order to reveal patterns related to culture, diversity, inclusion, multicultural education and multicultural competence. Furthermore, the findings have been placed in the Norwegian context, in order to shed light on the circumstances surrounding the documents. The main findings indicate that multicultural education is assigned a limited space and, according to the legal acts, should be included as a module integrated with the subject of pedagogy and pupil-related skills in teacher education.
Language policies and multilingual practices in Icelandic preschools
Ragnarsdóttir Hanna,Benediktsson Artëm Ingmar,Emilsson Peskova Renata 한국다문화교육학회 2023 Multicultural Education Review Vol.15 No.2
This article aims at exploring family language policies and practices of immigrant families in Iceland as well as educational practices and partnerships in their children’s preschools. The article draws on interviews with preschool principals and teachers in three preschools in Iceland, and presents findings related to state, municipal, and school language policies as well as multilingual practices in these preschools. The findings indicate that despite the generally positive attitudes and interest in multilingual practices among preschool personnel, there is room for improvement in terms of more structured and systematic integration of the diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds of families, as well as fostering stronger partnerships with parents from different linguistic and cultural communities. Furthermore, teacher education should include both theoretical and practical knowledge of multicultural and multilingual education to better equip teachers for cultural and linguistic diversity in schools.

Objective: Although, accumulating evidence is delineating a neuroprotective and neurotrophic role for lithium (Li), inconsistent findings have also been reported in human studies especially. Moreover, the effects of Li infusion into the hippocampus are still unknown. The aims of this work were (a) to assess whether basal synaptic activity and long-term potentiation (LTP) in the hippocampus are different in regard to intrahippocampal Li infusion; (b) to assess spatial learning and memory in rats chronically treated with LiCO3 in the Morris water maze. Methods: Field potentials were recorded form the dentate gyrus, stimulating perforant pathways, in rats chronically (20 mg/kg for 40 days) or acutely treated with LiCO3 and their corresponding control rats. In addition, performance of rats in a Morris water maze was measured to link behaviour of rats to electrophysiological findings. Results: LiCO3 infusion into the hippocampus resulted in enhanced LTP, especially in the late phases, but attenuated LTP was observed in rats chronically treated with Li as compared to controls. Li-treated rats equally performed a spatial learning task, but did spend less time in target quadrant than saline-treated rats in Morris water maze. Conclusion: Despite most data suggest that Li always yields neuroprotective effects against neuropathological conditions; we concluded that a 40-day treatment of Li disrupts hippocampal synaptic plasticity underlying memory processes, and that these effects of prolonged treatment are not associated with its direct chemical effect, but are likely to be associated with the molecular actions of Li at genetic levels, because its short-term effect preserves synaptic plasticity.

The Effects of a Group Art Therapy about Mild Mentally Retarded student Self Expression 조선대학교 조형미술연구소 2009 조형미술논문집 Vol.9 No.2
This study purpose to check the effects, if any, a group art therapy on self-expression of mentally retarded student. Study subjects are 2 male students and 1 female student, who were receiving integrated education in K elementary school in G city, and who marked IQ58~69, SA7.42~9.50 and SQ82~98 in KEDI-WISC. They were offered with total 28 sessions of art therapy, two times a week during the period of April through July, 2006. Research instruments are measurements of self-expression. For data analysis, change in acquired points is recorded through the sessions as self-expression and behavior observation measurements. To check if the data collected have any significance, individual points are compared. The study results are as follows. A group art therapy shows positive effects to help mentally retarded adolescents improve self-expression. Before the therapy, they used only a few words doing basic communication such as 'greetings' and 'answering'. As the session go by , however, they express more autonomous communication, such as 'explaining', 'telling opinions about things and behaviors', and draw some discussions such as 'waiting for turns to talk'. These result show that a group art therapy proves to be effective in enhancing self-expression and peer relations of mentally retarded student, by providing them with various art media and chance to work with others in which they can make their desires satisfied, self expression improved, and try to understand and accept feelings of other group members while interacting with them.
