Application of the Law of Self-Determination in a Postcolonial Context: A Guideline
M. Ya’kub Aiyub Kadir (사) 이준국제법연구원 2016 Journal of East Asia and International Law Vol.9 No.1
The development of the law of self-determination has been stagnant in terms of scope and content in its application in the postcolonial context. It requires a new paradigm to persuade the United Nations, its specialized agencies and affiliated organizations to address current phenomenon regarding normative, institutional and community awareness. This research has revealed that the essential meaning of self-determination is a remedial means for an oppressed person both in colonial and postcolonial context. While the colonial context has ended, postcolonial self-determination remains focussed on both repairing the historical wrongs of the colonial context, responding to the breakdown of a state, and recovering from persistent violations against anyone in the State. Accordingly, this paper will contribute to the development of guidelines for these applications: which primarily refer to some degree of internal self-determination (autonomy); and when this proves unsuccessful, external self-determination (independent) can be proposed as the last resort.
RIESZ TRIPLE ALMOST LACUNARY χ3 SEQUENCE SPACES DEFINED BY A ORLICZ FUNCTION-I
SUBRAMANIAN, N.,Esi, Ayhan,AIYUB, M. The Korean Society for Computational and Applied M 2019 Journal of applied mathematics & informatics Vol.37 No.1
In this paper we introduce a new concept for Riesz almost lacunary ${\chi}^3$ sequence spaces strong P - convergent to zero with respect to an Orlicz function and examine some properties of the resulting sequence spaces. We introduce and study statistical convergence of Riesz almost lacunary ${\chi}^3$ sequence spaces and some inclusion theorems are discussed.
Air Quality Modelling and Sustainable Urban Traffic Management Strategies for Kuala Lumpur
Azliyana Azhari,Kadaruddin Aiyub,Mohd Talib Latif 한국대기환경학회 2021 한국대기환경학회 학술대회논문집 Vol.2021 No.10
This study predicts concentration and dispersion pattern of primary pollutants in Kuala Lumpur city centre. The forecast was carried out under different traffic scenarios; business as usual (BAU) and 30% traffic reduction to see the impact of traffic reduction for a sustainable city management. The Danish OML-Highway model was utilized to calculate hourly time series of particulate matter concentration and distribution caused by traffic emission under different scenario. The average concentration of PM2.5 are 37.6±24.3 μg/m³ and 35.3±23.9 μg/m³ for BAU and 30% traffic reduction scenario respectively, while average concentration of PM10 are 54.5±27.8 μg/m³ and 50.8±26.4 μg/m³ for BAU and 30% traffic reduction scenario respectively. The spatial concentration distribution of annual mean for all primary pollutants in Kuala Lumpur City Centre clearly indicated that the concentration of particulate matter decreases with reduction of traffic volume in the city. The average mean concetration for CO during the BAU runs are ranging at 861-1439 μg/m³ compared to during 30% traffic reduction run at 834-1294 μg/m³. The average mean concentration for NO₂ during the BAU runs are ranging at 31.9-95.8 μg/m³ compared to during 30% traffic reduction run at 28.6-83.9 μg/m³. Average mean concentration for PM2.5 and PM10 during BAU runs are ranging at 30.4-43.7 μg/m³ and 41.4-65.9 μg/m³ respectively compared to during 30% traffic reduction run at 29.9-40.3 μg/m³ and 40.5-59.5 μg/m³ respectively. The average mean concentration for O₃ during the BAU runs are ranging at 3.81-28.6 μg/m³ compared to during 30% traffic reduction run at 5.05-30.7 μg/m³. This research demonstrates that traffic emission in urban area originates from vehicle emission and reduction of traffic volume in the city contributes to reduce the concentration of particulate matter pollution that is harmful to the environment and human health.
Linear isomorphic Euler fractional difference sequence spaces and their Toeplitz duals
Kuldip Raj,Mohammad Aiyub,Kavita Saini 한국전산응용수학회 2022 Journal of applied mathematics & informatics Vol.40 No.3
In the present paper we introduce and study Euler sequence spaces of fractional difference and backward difference operators. We make an effort to prove that these spaces are BK-spaces and linearly isomorphic. Further, Schauder basis for Euler fractional difference sequence spaces e_{0,p}^{\varsigma}(\Delta^{(\tilde{\beta})},\nabla^{m}) and e_{c,p}^{\varsigma}(\Delta^{(\tilde{\beta})},\nabla^{m}) are also elaborate. In addition to this, we determine the \alpha-, \beta- and \gamma- duals of these spaces.
