        오피스 사용자의 행태 변화, 그리고 사무환경

        오피스 공간에서는 일시적인 프로젝트성, 혹은 팀워크 중시형 업무가 늘어나고 있으며, 일반 기업도 팀단위 업무 시스템으로 바뀌어가고 있는 추세이다. 팀워크는 ‘목표 달성’에 앞서 ‘목표 일치’에 방향성을 두고 있기 때문에 팀원들간의 효과적인 커뮤니케이션은 더할 나위 없이 중요한 요소이다. 또한 오피스는 사무직 근로자가 깨어 있는 시간 중 절반 넘게, 혹은 대부분의 생활이 이뤄지는 공간이기 때문에 그들의 업무 행태, 사회적 변화에 맞는 사무환경의 조성은 무엇보다 중요하다. 즉, 즐거운 마음으로 함께 일하며, 사람들과의 원활한 커뮤니케이션이 이뤄지는 사무환경이 조성 된다면 업무 효율성은 더욱 증가 할 것이다. 이러한 업무환경을 고려하여 사무공간 대한 새로운 해석과 시장 조사를 통해 새로운 디자인트랜드와 여러 고려사항 그리고 Spine을 통해 기대되는 효과를 제시 하였다. Temporary projects and teamwork-focused duties are increasing in office spaces and normal corporations are following the trend of team-based working system. Since teamwork has a trend of 'unified objective' before 'accomplishment of objective,' effective communication between team members is the most critical factor. Also, since an office is a space in which majority of life or more than half of waking time of office workers is spent, creation of the working environment suitable for their working behavior and social changes is very important. That is, working efficiency will increase by large if a working environment is formed to allow joyful working experiences with team members and smooth communication with others. In view of the working environment, workspace was newly interpreted and market research was performed to propose a new trend of design, various considerations and the expectations of the spine.

        Cryptococcosis is a systemic mycosis that most often involves the central nervous system, followed by subclinical or symptomatic pulmonary involvement. We describe a case of unsuspected pulmonary cryptococcosis in a 69-year-old woman, diagnosed by sputum cytology. Sputum smears revealed numerous yeast like organisms typical of Cryptococcus neoformans measuring from 7 to 17 um in diameter. Mucicarmine, PAS, and methenamine sliver stains showed positive reaction of capsule and cell wall of Cryptococcus neoformans.

      • 갑상선 미분화 "도암종"의 세침흡인 세포학적 소견 - 1례 보고 -

        갑상선 미분화 "도암종"은 예후가 나쁘고 희귀한 종양으로 이 종양의 세침흡인 세포학적 소견에 관한 보고는 1990년 Pietribiasi에 의해 처음 기술된 이후 현재까지 8례가 있을 따름이다. 최근 저자들은 23세 여자의 좌측 경부의 갑상선 종괴로 부터 세침흡인 세포 검사를 시행하여 진단된 갑상선 도암종을 경험하여 그 세침흡인 세포학적 소견을 기술하는 바이다. 환자는 10년전부터 좌측 경부에 서서히 자라는 종괴를 호소하였으며 본 종괴에서 세침흡인 세포학적 검사를 시행하였다. 종괴의 세침흡인 도말은 세포밀도가 높았고 일정한 모양의 작고 둥근 세포들이 "도"구조 혹은 "지주" 구조를 보이며 간혹 개개로 산재되어 있는 세포 및 소포형태도 보였다. "도" 구조 및 "지주" 구조 내에는 미세한 소포형태가 관찰되었고 종양세포들의 핵은 자주 중첩되어 있었다. 갑상선 여포상 선종에서 보이는 성글게 배열된 소포구조도 드물게 관찰 되었다. 세포간의 크기나 모양은 거의 일정하였고 유사분열은 거의 관찰되지 않았다. 핵은 둥글고 뚜렷한 핵막과 미세하게 뭉친 염색질을 가지며 핵소체는 뚜렷하지 않았으며 드물게 젖빛 유리모양의 핵과 핵구가 관찰되었으나 유두상 구조는 관찰되지 않았다. 세포질의 경계는 불명확하였고 간혹 세포질내에 공포가 관찰되었다. 이상의 도암종의 세포학적 소견은 여포상 종양이나 유두상 종양들과는 구분되는 특징적인 소견이라 생각되며 세포학적 소견으로도 도암종의 진단이 가능하다고 생각된다. Fine needle aspiration cytologic features of a case of insular carcinoma of the thyroid in a 23-year-old woman who presented a palpable neck mass is described. The aspirate showed cellular smear arranged in trabeculae, solid or loose clusters, and microfillicles in necrotic background. The tumor cells had uniform, small round, hyperchromatic nuclei. The chromatin was finely granular, and nuclear membrane was smooth. Nucleoli were not discernible. Nuclear pleomorphism was minimal. The cytoplasm was usually scanty, pale, poorly outlined, and almostly amphophilic. Sometimes paranuclear cytoplasmic vacuoles were noted. final diagnosis was confirmed by total thyroidectomy as insular carcinoma.

      • 중추신경계 병변의 압착도말 세포학적 소견

        This study was performed in order to evaluate the accuracy and the usefulness of the cytology of crush preparation in central nervous system (CNS) lesions. Forty four intraoperative biopsies were performed at the time of craniotomy including 34 benign and 10 malignant lesions. Crush preparations were prepared from tiny tissue fragments of craniotomy products. All cases were stained with toluidine blue. Intraoperative diagnoses made on cytologic examination were compared with the final paraffin section diagnoses. Comparison between the results of the cytologic and histologic findings revealed an overall diagnostic accuracy of 88.6%. This study attests to the diagnostic accuracy of cytologic examination in CNS lesions. The detailed cytologic features are described and important criteria for the cytodiagnosis of CNS lesions are discussed. This review leads us to think that cytologic examination by crush preparation in CNS lesions is considered as a simple, safe and highly diagnostically accurate method.

      • 점액 유두상 상의세포종의 압착도말 세포학적 소견 - 1예 보고 -

        Myxopapillary ependymoma generally arise in the conus medullaris and filum terminale of adult spinal cord. These tumors are readily recognized due to unique histopathologic features, however, their cytologic features are not well described. When only a tiny sample is obtained, cytologic examination using crush preparation may be a useful diagnostic tool to help appropriate intraoperative diagnosis. We present the crush cytologic features of myxopapillary ependymoma arising in thoracic and lumbar spinal cord of a 13-year-old boy. The patient had complained of paraparesis and back pain for 1 month. The MRI image revealed a relatively well demarcated intramedullary mass in T11-L1 levels. Crush preparation for cytology were peformed by biopsy material. Crush cytologic findings revealed high cellularity and small sized branching papillary clusters on fibrillary or mucinous background. The tumor cells had uniform round or elongated nuclei. The cytoplasmic process of tumor cells were attached to the vascular wall. Between the tumor cells and vascular walls, the perivascular collar of globoid acellular stroma with metachromatic reaction on toluidin blue stain was noted. The crush preparation of myxopapillary ependymoma is considered as a simple and highly accurate diagnostic tool for differentiation from other intramedullary neoplasms of central nervous system.

        마우스 Hepa-1c1c7 세포주에서 B형 간염 바이러스에 의한 tumor necrosis factor-a의 발현 유도

        B형 간염 바이러스(HBV)에 의한 감염은 인류의 보건에 대단히 중요한 문제이며, 따라서 HBV에 대한 많은 연구가 수행되어져 왔다. 그러나 HBV 연구에 있어서의 주된 장애요인은 그 감염이 사람과 일부 영장류에 국한된다는 점이다. 본 연구에서는 마우스 간암 세포주인 Hepa-1c1c7 세포를 이용하여 HBV의 감염성 및 그에 따른 염증성 사이토카인인 TNF-a의 발현의 변화를 측정하였다. HBV의 표면항원(HBsAg)분비는 microparticle enzyme immunoassay를 사용하여 측정하였고, TNF-a mRNA 발현 측정에는 quantitative competitive RT-PCR 방법을 사용하였다. HBV 발현 벡터를 Hepa-1clc7 세포에 도입시켰을 경우뿐만 아니라 HBV 비리온을 갖고 있는 혈청을 사용하여 Hepa-lc1c7 세포를 감염시켰을 때에도 HBV mRNA 발현 및 HBsAg 분비가 측정되었다. 또한 두 상황 모두에서 TNF-a mRNA발현이 증가됨을 알 수 있었다. 이러한 결과는 사람과 영장류에 특이적인 HBV가 마우스 간암 세포주인 Hepa-lclc7 세포도 감염시킬 수 있다는 가능성을 제시한다. 또한 마우스 기원의 Hepa-lclc7 세포에서도 HBV의 유전자 발현에 필요한 여러 인자들이 존재하며, TNF-a와 같은 사이토카인 유전자 발현을 조절하는 세포 내 기전에 HBV가 영향을 미친다고 할 수 있다. 따라서 마우스 간암 세포주인 Hepa-lclc7 세포는 HBV 연구를 위한 시험 관내 모델로서 사용되어질 수 있을 것으로 보인다. Infection with hepatitis B virus (HBV) is a major health problem worldwide. Although a tremendous amount has been known about HBV, there have been obstacles in the study of HBV due to the narrow host range of HBV limited to humans and primates. In the present study, we investigated the susceptibility to HBV infection of mouse hepatoma cell line, Hepa-1c1c7. In addition, based on that human hepatocytes infected by HBV increase the expression of the pro-inflammatory cytokine TNF-a, the inducibility of TNF-a expression by HBV in the cells was determined. HBV surface antigen (HBsAg) secretion was measured by the microparticle enzyme immunoassay and steady state mRNA expression was analyzed by quantitative competitive RT-PCR. Transient transfection of Hepa-1c1c7 cells with HBV expression vector resulted in a dose-dependent induction of TNF-a expression. Infection of Hepa-1c1c7 cells with the serum of HBV carrier also increased TNF-a mRNA expression. Both in the transfected and infected cells, HBV mRNA was expressed and significant HBsAg secretion was detected. There was no significant variation in $\beta-actin$ mRNA expression by HBV. These results demonstrate that HBV is infectious to Hepa-lc1c7 in vitro and the viral infection induces TNF-a expression, which suggests that Hepa-lc1c7, a mouse hepatoma cell line, may be a possible model system for analysis of various molecular aspects of HBV infection.

      • 중추신경계 수막종과 신경초종의 압착도말 세포학적 소견 및 감별진단

        This study was peformed in order to evaluate the usefulness of the crush cytologic features and differential diagnosis between meningiomas and schwannomas in the central nervous system. Deeply seated and unusually located meningiomas and schwannomas with equivocal or erroneous frozen section diagnosis can be correctly diagnosed cytologically in crush preparations. Twenty-four meningiomas and nine schwannomas were studied by frozen section and crush preparation technique. These tumors displayed distinctive cytologic features. in meningiomas, the tumor tissue fragments were easy to crush, and the tumor cells were arranged in small clusters, flat sheets, papilla-like, whorling pattern or singly. Individual tumor cells displayed round or oval nuclei with finely granular chromatin pattern and inconspicuous small nucleoli. Occasionally psammoma bodies, nuclear pseudoinclusion or nuclear grooves were found. In schwannomas, tissue fragments were hard in consistency and difficult to crush. The crushed tissue presented as thick, irregular fragments with shard borders. The cells showed ill-defined cytoplasm and round, oval, cigar-shaped or curved nuclei. It is important to emphasize that the smear pattern under low-power view and cytologic features are helpful in discriminating between these two tumors.

        인체의 위 조직 시료에서 자기공명영상장치를 이용한 확산계수 측정에 대한 기초 연구

        The aim of this study is to investigate the feasibility of ex vivo MR diffusion tensor imaging technique in order to observe the diffusion-contrast characteristics of human gastric tissues. On normal and pathologic gastric tissues, which have been fixed in a polycarbonate plastic tube filled with 10% formalin solution, laboratory made 3D diffusion tensor Turbo FLASH pulse sequence was used to obtain high resolution MR images with voxel size of $0.5{\times}0.5{\times}0.5mm^3\;using\;64{\times}32{\times}32mm^3$ field of view in conjunction with an acquisition matrix of $128{\times}64{\times}64$. Diffusion weighted- gradient pulses were employed with b values of 0 and $600s/mm^2$ in 6 orientations. The sequence was implemented on a clinical 3.0-T MRI scanner(Siemens, Erlangen, Germany) with a home-made quadrature-typed birdcage Tx/Rx rf coil for small specimen. Diffusion tensor values in each pixel were calculated using linear algebra and singular value decomposition(SVD) algorithm. Apparent diffusion coefficient(ADC) and fractional anisotropy(FA) map were also obtained from diffusion tensor data to compare pixel intensities between normal and abnormal gastric tissues. The processing software was developed by authors using Visual C++(Microsoft, WA, U.S.A.) and mathematical/statistical library of GNUwin32(Free Software Foundation). This study shows that 3D diffusion tensor Turbo FLASH sequence is useful to resolve fine micro-structures of gastric tissue and both ADC and FA values in normal gastric tissue are higher than those in abnormal tissue. Authors expect that this study also represents another possibility of gastric carcinoma detection by visualizing diffusion characteristics of proton spins in the gastric tissues.
