During the last two years, Site Information and Total Environmental database management System (SITES) ver. 1.0 has been developed for the systematic SITES Database Module (SDM), which includes site information, facility information and environmental information. The SITES includes the module for site environmental monitoring system and safety assessment (M&A) system for the nuclear facility. SITES is expected to be an effective system for the radioactive waste disposal management facility. Currently, SITES ver.2.0 is under development after the SITES ver.1.0 that is focused on the M&A system. The main purpose of this paper is to introduce and try to account for the major development in the concept of SEMS sub-module of the M&A module. The SEMS is purposed of development of the program for real time environmental monitoring, prediction, and automatic alarm system using SITES Database and related information.

The well preserved ostracodes of the Chunbuk Formation in Pohang Basin were analyzed isotopically to understand paleoceanographic conditions of the southeastern park of Korean peninsula which Songhacdong, and Mulcheonri areas range from - 2.2 to - 0.7% (PDB), - 0.7 to 0.0% , and -20.0 to - 0.8%, and their corresponding paleotemperatures range from ca 20 to 27$^{\circ}C$ (average = 24$^{\circ}C$), 17 to 20$^{\circ}C$ (average = 18$^{\circ}C$), and 20 to 26$^{\circ}C$ (average=23$^{\circ}C$),respectively. Assuming the $\delta$/SUP 18/O composition of the Middle Miocene seawater was about - 0.34% (SMOW), the paleotemperatures of the Middle Miocene shallow seawater in the Pohang Basin was almost equal to or slightly higher than the present summer temperature (ca 16 to 20$^{\circ}C$) near Pohang area. Carbon isotopic value of Cyhere omotenipponica is - 0.8% (PDB), reflecting marine carbonate carbon composition. Carbon isotopic compositions of other ostracodes such as Aurial okumurai, Trachyleberis niitsmai, Urocythereis sp., Urocythereis cf. gorokuensis, and Acanthocythereis mutsuensis range from - 5.2 to - 3.4% (PDB), which might have secreted their shells out of equilibrium with ambient seawater. This disequilibrium was most likely to have resulted from metabolic (=vital) effect, rather than temperature of productivity.
UV/H2O2 광산화공정을 적용한 원전 발생 방사성 폐액내 세제 처리

원전 발생 방사성 폐액 내 세제를 제거하기 위한 전처리 공정으로 UV 광산화 공정을 활용하기 위하여 공정의 효율 및 적용 가능성에 대한 기초 실험을 수행하였다. 최적 처리조건을 도출하고자, 방사성 폐액의 평균 세제 함유량 (TOC 50∼100ppm)을 기준으로 모의폐액을 제조하여 과산화수소 주입량에 따른 세제 제거율, pH 변화에 따른 세제 제거율, 공기 공급량에 따른 세제 제거율을 도출하였다. 실험결과로서 과산화수소 주입량은 1000ppm, pH는 9.5일 때 최적 분해율을 보였고 공기 공급량의 영향은 받지 않는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 광분해 특성 규명을 위한 회분식 광분해 실험 결과, 광분해 반응 차수는 2차 반응임을 알 수 있었다. To apply the UV-photo oxidation process for the removal of detergent contained in the radwaste generated from the NPP, the effectiveness and feasibility were studied through the fundamental experiments. The simulants with TOC 50∼100ppm made of detergent were used for the lab-test. The optimum detergent removal rates due to the hydrogen peroxide volume, pH and air injection volume were investigated. The detergent removal rate was optimum at 1000ppm of hydrogen peroxide volume and at pH 9.5, while the air injection volume was not that much effective. The experimental result showed that the photo-oxidation degradation under the batch mode was of the second reaction.
아파트 거주의향 및 선호경향에 관한 연구 : 구미시 중·소형 아파트 구매예정자를 대상으로

This paper analyzes the living intention and preference tendency of the potential buyers for small and medium sized apartment houses in Gumi. The analysis results are summarized as follows; 1) About 90% of pollees have intention to move into apartment houses, and prefer a subcenter of Gumi city as residence area, which provides convenient living environment and great nature environment. 2) Most of them want to buy aparbnent houses in ordre to own their houses. Thus, they have a strong desire to have their own houses. When buying apartment houses, they consider economic points first such as price and the merits of investment. 3) Most pollees say they think indoor space is more important than outdoor space. Especially, they want storing spaces and a large balcony. 4) Majority of the pollees like a housing complex consisting of around 300 to 1000 houses and high-rise apartment buildings of 11 to 15 stories.

This paper is analyzed with the living intention, preference tendency and needs of dwelling model of the potential buyers for small and medium sized apartment houses in Gumi. The analysis results are summarized as follows; 1) To see the category of apartment housing model, the need of Apartment & Store, environmentally oriented apartments, well-being apartments is shown to be high. 2) The instruction of the natural-control-system and the recycling system are the top priority of environment-oriented apartments. 3) The need of Automated apartments and Health-oriented apartments is high, as a new housing model. 4) Accordingly, the housing model in the future is concluded with the house with convenience, high technical facilities, and health-oriented apartments.
