The emission characteristics of medium and heavy duty vehicles according to the emission standards and engine displacements were carried out. In this study, emission characteristics were analyzed by the heavy duty chassis dynamometer and emission analyzer. In addition, the test driving mode was applied to the Worldwide Harmonized Vehicle Chassis dynamometer test (WHVC) mode. Test vehicles with engine displacements from 4L to 12L was used to investigate emission characteristics and these vehicles were selected in EURO-4 & EURO-5 trucks. From these results, it is shown that the exhaust emissions(CO, NOx, PM, CO2) have a increasing pattern as the engine displacement was increased. Also, the all exhaust emissions excepting CO emission in EURO-5 standard shows a decreasing trend compared to those in EURO-4. This is because SCR after-treatment device take the place of p-DPF after-treatment device from EURO-5 standard.
The purpose of this study is to know the blue jean image according to it's type and detail, and to the sex of recognizers. Various body type(skinny, average and fat) of male and female models' photos in 6 type of jean pants were shown to 1,354 men and women university students and had them measure the photos' image in 21 sort of scale. The result of this study is like this.<br/> 1. Images according to the type<br/> The straight type jean expresses passable and simple image. It seemed to suit anyone, but not to be colorful, splendid and courageous. The broad jean has active, fat and short leg image. The bleached blue jean matched with any clothing. It's image was long leg, tall, and slender. Painting blue jean seemed to be new, colorful, splendid, courageous, scarce and active. The torn blue jean appeared to match with any clothing. And lap seam blue jean's image was active but it made the waist looked thick.<br/> 2. Images according to detail<br/> The existence and nonexistence of detail also represented different image. The blue jean without detail was passable, simple and economic. It seemed to have no relation with fashion. It made the model looked fat and the models' waists thick. Economic element and images constituting fatness appeared high. In blue jean with details, the image looked like this; it matched with any clothing. It was new, gorgeous, splendid and courageous, scarce, refined, active, comfortable and free. There were images that the legs appeared long and the height appeared tall. That is, fashionable element and images constituting slenderness mainly appeared high. Images constituting active characteristic appeared as images from the fact that the blue jean without details was comfortable to the fact that image that the blue jean with decoration was active.<br/> 3. Recognizer's sex<br/> Male generally recognized every jeans has passable, simple, matched with any clothing, economic, long leg and tall image. Female recognizers measured jeans' image to be active, comfortable, free, casual, fat and thick waist. Therefore, it appeared that when the recognizers were men, economic, fashionable and slender element were shown as the element of the blue jean image. When the recognizers were woman, it was recognized like this; activeness and fat element were shown as blue jean image element.
We studied the repeated-batch process for the bioethanol production from the hydrolysate of Ulva pertusa Kjellman using yeast Pichia stipitis, which is able to assimilate C6- and C5-monosaccharides. During 180-hour operations, the repeated-batch process was carried out stably, and the average bioethanol concentration reached 11.9 g/L from about 30 g/L of reducing sugar in the hydrolysate. Meanwhile, the bioethanol yields, based on the reducing sugar and the quantitative TLC analysis, were 0.40 and 0.37, respectively, which corresponded to 78.4% and 72.5% of theoretical value, respectively. Throughout the quantitative process analysis, it was also demonstrated that 39.67 g-bioethanol could be produced from 1 kg of dried Ulva pertusa Kjellman. In this study, we verified that the bioethanol production from the hydrolysate of Ulva pertusa Kjellman was feasible using a yeast Pichia stipitis, particularly during the repeated-batch operation.

저자들은 10년 전에 류마티스 관절염으로 진단 받고 1년여 동안에 걸쳐 류마티스 관절염 치료를 위해 prednisolone, methotrexate와 cyclosporine을 사용한 환자에서, 조직학적 검사를 통해 폐효모균증을 진단한 뒤 amphotericin-B 0.5 mg/kg을 4주간 정주하였고 이어서 항진균제인 fluconazole 400 mg을 하루 1회 8주간 복용하여 치료되었기에 문헌 고찰과 함께 이를 보고하는 바이다. Pulmonary cryptococcosis is a non-infectious opportunistic or silent infection caused by Cryptococcus neoformans. It enters the body through the respiratory tract and spreads to lung, skin, liver, and lymphoid organs. Recently its incidence has been gradually increasing because of developing diagnostic tools, increased use of steroids and immunosuppressive drugs, increased survival rate of patients with chronic diseases, and increased incidence of immunodeficiency syndrome. We report a case of pulmonary cryptococcosis in a patient with rheumatoid arthritis who was being treated with low dose glucocorticoid, methotrexate and cyclosporine for 14 months.
