웹 사용자 인터페이스 향상을 위한 풀다운메뉴에서 방향제어가 가능한 애니메이션 기법

최근 인터넷을 통한 정보획득이 증가함에 따라 웹을 기반으로 하는 사용자 인터페이스의 중요성이 그 어느 때 보다 강조되고 있다. 본 연구는 웹 사용자 인터페이스 향상을 위하여 풀다운메뉴에서 서브메뉴 슬라이딩 구조를 개선하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 많은 웹 사이트에서 사용 중인 풀다운메뉴의 서브메뉴에 적용된 애니메이션 기법은 매우 단조로운 슬라이딩 구조를 하고 있다. 이러한 문제점을 개선하기 위하여 풀다운메뉴에서 방향제어가 가능한 확대/축소 및 이동 애니메이션 기법에 기반을 둔 새로운 슬라이딩 알고리즘을 제안한다. 연구 결과, 제안한 방법은 기존의 풀다운메뉴와 비교하여 확연히 시각적인 효과를 향상할 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 웹을 기반으로 하는 사용자 인터페이스 구현에도 쉽게 적용할 수 있다. 제안한 기법을 반응형 이미지 슬라이더에 적용하는 실험에서도 좋은 결과를 얻었다. 향후 제안한 기법을 이용한 웹 기반 인터랙티브 콘텐츠를 구현하기 위하여 성능을 고려한 연구가 필요하다. As obtaining information via the Internet has increased recently, the importance of web-based user interface more than ever is being emphasized. The purpose of this study is to improve the sliding structures of submenu in pull-down menu for improving web user interface. Animation techniques applied to the submenu of the pull-down menus that are being used at many web sites have very monotonous sliding structures. In order to solve these problems, a new sliding algorithm based on enlarging/reducing and moving animation techniques with direction control in pull-down menu is proposed. As a result, the proposed method can not only improve visual effects significantly but be also easily applied to the implementation of the web-based user interface in comparison with the previous pull-down menus. Finally, experiments on application of the proposed sliding algorithm to responsive image slider show that the proposed method can achieve good results. Further studies taking into account performance are needed to implement web-based interactive contents using the proposed method.
조명 변화가 다양한 컬러 영상에서 눈 검출을 위한 효율적인 필터의 설계

In this paper, a new efficient filter for detecting eyes in color images under varying illumination conditions is proposed. Face detection algorithms based on skin color usually detect faces by searching for facial features within face-like regions segmented by reference maps. However, these algorithms make it difficult to robustly find eyes in the presence of background similar to skin color around faces. In order to overcome these problems, filters called pupil color distribution maps(PCDMs) are devised to segment eye-like regions within face-like regions. These filters can improve the effectiveness of eye detection by reducing the search space for finding eyes. Furthermore, in case where eye-like regions are segmented spaciously because of illumination variations, performance of eye detection can be improved by refiltering the pixels of eye-like regions using reduction algorithm based on frequency information of cell regions in PCDMs. Finally, experimental results show that the proposed method can achieve a high performance.
쌓임 규칙에 기반한 복합기능을 가진 풀다운메뉴 설계 방법

본 논문은 쌓임 규칙에 기반한 복합기능을 가진 풀다운메뉴의 새로운 설계 방법을 제안한다. 기존의 웹 내비게이션 관련 연구 에서는 디자인적인 측면을 강조한 내용이 대부분이다. 본 논문은 프로그래밍기법에 주안점을 둔 기술적인 측면을 고려하여 다수의 엘리먼트로 풀다운메뉴의 메인메뉴를 구성하고, 이들을 쌓임 규칙을 이용하여 서로 다른 레이어에 배치함으로써 메인메뉴의 기본적인 분류기능 이외에 독립적으로 고유의 기능을 할 수 있다. 또한 본 논문에서 제안한 애니메이션기법을 사용한 서브메뉴 선택 바와 서브메뉴 항목 자동 탐색 기능을 추가하여 시각적인 효과와 정보탐색 효율을 향상할 수 있다. 본 논문에서 제안한 복합기능을 갖는 풀다운메뉴를 CSS와 jQuery를 사용하여 구현함으로써 제안한 방법의 유효성을 확인하였다. A new design method for multi-functional pull-down menu based on stacking rules is proposed. The importance of a design point of view has been emphasized in many previous studies on web navigation. Taking technical aspects with an emphasis on programming techniques into consideration in this paper, multiple elements, which are used for constructing main menu of the pull-down menu, are capable of performing their unique functions independently in addition to basic classification function by disposing them to separated layers using stacking rules. Furthermore, the improvement of visual effects and efficiency for information navigation can be expected by implementing submenu selection-bar using animation techniques and function to automatically search submenu item. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed method is identified by implementing multi-functional pull-down menu using CSS and jQuery.
하이라이트이미지 애니메이션과 계층적 쌓임 구조를 이용한 풀다운메뉴 설계

The web navigation menu plays an important role in establishing a website because it implicitly represents information and contents provided on the website. In this paper, a new design method for creating pull-down menu using highlight images animation and hierarchical stacking structure is proposed. First, environment for highlight images animation is established by constructing hierarchical layers based on stacking algorithm for elements of main menu of the pull-down menu. This hierarchical structure is capable of applying new additional functions to pull-down menu easily. Furthermore, the visual effectiveness can be improved by performing highlight images animation through hierarchical layers using event handling technique controlling the order of stacking context. This method can be applied to not only pull-down menu but also a variety of customized navigation menu.
가변구조를 갖는 다층 컨트롤패널을 이용한 이미지슬라이더 구조 개선에 관한 연구

Image slider, which is one of the web user interface elements, plays an important role in communicating information contained in the images through sliding. It is often used to implicitly represent the overall information of web site at the top of main web page recently. Most of the image sliders that are being serviced at many web sites have simple and uniform structures in spite of a major role. In this paper, a new method for structural improvement of image slider using multi-layer control panel with flexible structure is proposed. Not only can the proposed method improve visual effects through multi-sliding technique, but it can also improve performance for searching the images in comparison with the previous image slider by inserting sub image slider with functions for image category classification into main image slider.

Immunosuppressive medications after renal allograft transplantation have impacted the course of acute and chronic rejection; however, they have no defined effects on the prevention of recurrent and Glomerulonephritis (GN) in an allograft kidney. Authors experienced a case of rapidly progressive glomerulonephritis (RPGN). The 35-year-old female patient developed a rapid deterioration of renal function 4 years after renal transplantation. The allograft biopsy showed crescentic glomerulonephritis evolving from membranoproliferative glomerulonephritis (MPGN) type Ⅰ. She was given pulse steroid and oral cyclophosphamide therapy immediately after the renal biopsy. Graft function stabilized and proteinuria decreased even though graft function did not recover to pre-treatment level and low grade proteinuria persisted.
