1970년 컴퓨터의 등장으로 사람들은 곧 종이의 시대가 끝날 것이라고 예측들을 하였으나, 오늘날 PC와 Tablet, 스마트폰의 일상화에도 불구하고, 종이는 그 어느 때보다 대중적으로 소비가 되어가고 있습니다. 종이의 사용량은 지난 50년간 4배 증가하였으며, 2014년 처음으로 연간 종이 사용량이 4 억 톤에 근접하였습니다, 1970년대까지만 해도, 펄프, 제지 산업은 자연림의 보존이나 유해물질 배출에 대한 인식 수준이 매우 낮았으나, 환경오염에 대한 사회적 요구가 거세짐에 따라 그간 다양한 노력을 수행해 왔습니다. 그 결과 펄프 산업은 한경오염방지 및 통합관리를 위한 BAT(최적가용기법)을 사용하여, 기존의 배출 허용 범위 이하 수준으로 낮아졌으며, 나무로부터 만든 천연펄프의 사용량을 줄이고 재활용 펄프의 사용을 지속적으로 늘리고 있다. 본 연구에서는 기존의 골판지와 신무지의 재활용 펄프둥의 재활용하는데 있어서 생기는 환경오염 및 오염물에 대해서 분석 하고, 국내 및 해외에서 사용되고 있는 재활용 업체에서의 BAT(최적가용기법)기법에 대해서 소개하고 대해서 비교하고, 이에 따른 오염물질의 배출 감소를 조사하여 보고하고자 합니다.
12주간의 수중재활운동이 뇌졸중환자의 보행 변인 및 협응에 미치는 영향

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of based exercise program on gait coordination in the stroke patients. Two groups were made an experimental group of hemiparetic patients and the control group of normal people of a similar age. The experimental group participated in a 12-week water-based exercise program (two sessions/wk, 1hr/wk). The control group participated in a land-based exercise. Three dimensional kinemetic data was analyzed and the following variables were calculated: stance time, swing time, paretic and normal step time, stride length, stride length, paretic and normal step length, gait speed, RPI(Relative Power Index) for gait coordination. The results of the study were as follows : First, after 12 weeks training, stance time, swing time, paretic and normal step time, improved for both groups especially the experimental group the imbalance was reduced. Second, the experimental group showed longer stride length than control group and reduced the paretic and normal step length than control group, but for the stride width were no significant differences. Third, the gait speed increased after the training for both groups, but increased even more for the experimental group. Forth, the experimental group showed larger increases in RPI(Relative Power Index) than the control group.
쑥갓세포의 현탁배양에 의한 ${\beta}-sitosterol$ 생산

[${\beta}-sitosterol$]은 식물 스테롤로서 인간의 전립선암과 대장암 세포의 성장을 억제하고 생체내 콜레스테롤 농도를 감소시킨다. 본 연구에서는 쑥갓세포 배양에서 ${\beta}-sitosterol$ 생산의 최적화 연구를 수행하였다. 그래서 쑥갓(Chrysanthemum coronarium L.)으로부터 캘러스 유도는 NAA와 BAP의 농도가 각각 1 mg/l의 조합에서 최적이었으며 이들 캘러스로부터 현탁배양 세포주를 확립하였다. 현탁 배양시 초기 세포농도 2 g DCW/l에서 조성이 각각 1배인 탄소원(30 mg/l), 질소원(1900 mg/l $KNO_3$, 1650mg/l $NH_4NO_3$), 무기인산원(170 mg/l)을 포함하는 MS 배지에서 ${\beta}-sitosterol$ 생산이 최적으로 나타났다. Shake-flask를 이용한 현탁배양에서 ${\beta}-sitosterol$의 최대 생산량은 $150{\mu}g/g$ DCW이었다. 그리고 공기부유식 생물반응기의 배양에서는 100 cc/ml의 통기량에서 ${\beta}-sitosterol$의 생산이 $142.8{\mu}g/g$ DCW으로 나타났다. [${\beta}-sitosterol$] is a plant sterol that reduces cholesterol levels and inhibits the growth of human prostate and colon cancer cells. Optimal conditions for ${\beta}-sitosterol$ production were examined from cell suspension cultures of Chrysanthemum coronarium L. The callus induction was optimal in MS medium containing 1 mg/l NAA and 1 mg/l BAP. Cell suspension culture was also established from the callus. Optimal ${\beta}-sitosterol$ production was obtained when the cells were cultured at an initial density of 2 mg DCW/l in MS medium containing 1 X sucrose (30 mg/l), 1 X nitrogen (1900 mg/l $KNO_3$, 1650 mg/l $NH_4NO_3$), and 1 X phosphate source (170 mg/l). In cell suspension cultures of C. coronarium L. using shake flasks, the peak content of ${\beta}-sitosterol$ was $150{\mu}g/g$ DCW. In cell suspension cultures of C. coronarium L. using an air-lift bioreactor, the maximum ${\beta}-sitosterol$ content of $143.8{\mu}g/g$ DCW was obtained at an air-flow rate of 100 cc/min.

Dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) increased the intracellular calcium ion concentration in stably transfected Drosophila melanogaster S2 cells expressing recombinant cyclooxygenase 1 (COX-1). DMSO did not increase the Drosophila NOS (dNOS) transcript level in calcium chelator-treated cells. Expression of recombinant COX-1 due to DMSO was diminished in cells treated with calcium chelators or channel blockers. Our results indicate that an increased intracellular calcium ion concentration due to DMSO is associated with up-regulation of the dNOS gene, leading to enhanced expression of COX-1.

Objectives: This study was performed to review the research trends in the treatment of posttraumatic stress disorder in traditional Chinese medicine. Methods: We searched articles in the China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI) using keywords, “Posttraumatic stress disorder”, and “PTSD” in Traditional Chinese Medicine, Traditional Chinese Medicinal Herbs and Combination of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the Western Medicine field. We selected 16 studies after excluding non-clinical or unrelated studies. Results: Four pre-post comparison studies and 12 controlled clinical trials were performed in patients with PTSD in China. Herbal medicine, acupuncture, and moxibustion therapy were used for the treatment of PTSD. Most of the studies showed positive results, and they reported that the treatment groups had fewer side effects than the control group. However, the quality of these clinical studies was low.
