Objectives : Cerebral laterality is thought to be an important marker for neurodevelopment. Prenatal testosterone could influence both cerebral laterality and 2nd to 4th finger length ratio(2D : 4D). EEG coherence and 2D : 4D were examined to investigate the relationship between prenatal testosterone level and cerebral laterality. Methods : EEG was recorded in 24 healthy subjects in the eyes closed resting state. Differences in 2D : 4D finger ratio were used to discriminate "masculine finger type" and "feminine finger type" groups. The 2D : 4D ratio was lower and greater than one for the "masculine finger type" group and "feminine finger type" group, respectively. We used coherence analysis to estimate the cortical functional connectivity. Results : There were statistically meaningful relationships among cerebral functional connectivity, sex and finger ratio. Man and masculine finger type group showed higher intra-hemispheric coherence than those of woman and feminine finger type group. Woman and feminine finger type group showed higher inter-hemispheric coherence than those of man and masculine finger type group. Conclusions : These results imply that prenatal testosterone might act as important determinants of cerebral laterality. Further examination of the relationship between 2D : 4D and EEG coherence in schizophrenia could give some clues for the neurodevelopmental hypothesis of schizophrenia genesis.

항로표지 관리 및 배치 의사결정 지원을 위한 항로표지 운용 소프트웨어 개발에 관한 연구

본 연구에서는 항로표지 시뮬레이터에서 구축된 항로표지 데이터베이스를 쉽게 관리하고 활용할 수 있는 방안과 항로표지 배치에 대한 의사결정을 지원하기 위한 방안을 모색하고자 하였다. 시나리오와 같은 계층 구조와 이력카드, 상태 부여 등을 통해 항로표지 데이터베이스를 관리하는 방안을 검토하고 항로표지 배치안에 대하여 시각적, 청각적, 정량적인 검증을 할 수 있도록 돕는 항로표지 운용 소프트웨어를 구현함으로써 본 연구의 목적을 달성한다. 항로표지 운용 소프트웨어는 항로표지 신설, 이설 등과 같이 자유로운 제어뿐만 아니라 조건 검색, 가상운항 및 정량 평가 결과 전시 등의 다양한 기능을 통해 항로표지 배치계획에 대한 의사결정을 돕는다. 이를 활용하여 여러 설계안에 대해 선박이나 선원에게 미칠 수 있는 영향을 예측하거나 설계안의 효율성 및 적절성 여부를 판단하는데 도움을 주고, 수월해진 검증 방법을 통해 더 다양한 설계안을 비교할 수 있기 때문에 항로표지 설계 및 배치 계획 시에 발생 할 수 있는 실패비용과 항로표지 관리비용을 감소시킬 것으로 기대된다. This study has searched to find a program in order to manage simply and practically use the expelled AtoN database from the AtoN Simulator and to support the idea decision for the AtoN placement. It examines a program that manages AtoN database through the hierarchy structure, history card and endowment with condition same as a scenario. And accomplishes this study's goal owing to realizing AtoN operational software that helps for visual, hearing sense, fixed amount verification upon AtoN placement project. The AtoN operational software contributes not only flexible control like a newly establishment, relocation etc, but also supports idea decision for AtoN placement plan through many functions such as condition search, virtual sailing and fixed amount appraisal result exhibition, etc. Through utilization of this, it is to help upon the presupposition of the impact to ship or sailor about many designs and in addition, upon the judgment of whether or not for the efficiency and appropriation of the design. It is expected to reduce possible failure costs and management costs due to AtoN design and placement plans, because to compare more various designs thru the easier verification method.

협동조합 조합원과 직원의 학습과 성장: 아이쿱소비자생활협동조합 사례

협동조합에서 강조하며 실천하고 있는 교육·훈련은 넓은 의미에서 인력개발(Human Resources Development)이라고 할 수 있다. 본 연구는 실천공동체 이론을 바탕으로 아이쿱소비자생활협동조합(이하 아이쿱생협) 조합원과 직원들이 어떻게 학습하고 성장하는지 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 아이쿱생협은 조합원과 직원의 학습과 성장을 위해 교육·훈련 프로그램을 운영하고 있으며 이를 통해 협동조합의 정체성을 유지·발전시키고 있다. 아이쿱생협 조합원과 직원의 학습과 개발은 차원(개인 또는 집단)과 방법(형식 또는 무형식)을 두 축으로 하여 탐색, 진입, 관여, 책임 등 4개의 유형으로 구분할 수 있다. 조합원의 학습과 성장은 탐색-진입-관여-책임의 순서로 이어지며 직원의 학습과 성장은 진입-탐색-책임-관여의 순서로 이루어지고 있다. 또한 조합원과 직원의 실천이 연계될 때 학습과 성장이 활성화되었다. 조합원과 직원의 학습과 성장을 통해 협동조합의 인력개발을 활성화하기 위해서는 각 유형을 포함하는 종합적인 접근이 필요하며 조합원과 직원의 연계 실천에 주목해야 한다. This paper analyzes how members and employees of iCOOP Korea learn and develop, based on the Communities of Practice theory. As a result of research, iCOOP Korea has been conducting training and development programs to maintain and develop the cooperative’s identity. iCoop Korea’s member and employee learning and development can be divided into four types based on dimension (individual or group) and form (planned or emergent): exploration, entry, engagement, responsibility. Member learning and development occurs in the sequence of exploration-entry-engagement-responsibility, while for employees it follows entry-exploration-responsibility-engagement. In addition, learning and cooperation is vitalized through connections between members and employees. A comprehensive approach is needed for each type of learning and development to bring about greater human resource development for cooperatives.

한국 소비자생활협동조합 이사회의 특성에 관한 실증연구 -iCOOP 소비자활동연합회 사례를 중심으로-

Consumer co-operatives in Korea have been growing steadily due to changing lifestyle and increasing food safety concerns. The growth has brought consumer co-operatives new challenges such as more professional management and participation from members. In general, primary consumer co-operatives in Korea have been managed not by professional managers but by elected directors, who are responsible for responding to the new challenges faced by co-operatives. This study aims to analyze the characteristics of boards, specifically in iCOOP Korea. The sample consists of 44 primary co-operatives and 328 directors of those co-operatives. The characteristics of the boards are analyzed and their implications are discussed in this research. One of noticeable findings is that the boards of primary co-operatives in iCOOP Korea are dominantly led by female directors who are housewives with college degrees. The results of this research suggest that consumer co-operatives must enhance directors` managerial capabilities given that democratic control is a norm for most co-operatives.

이슬람의 신비적 측면 : 수피즘(SUFISM)의 현대적 이해

Differentiating themselves from conventional religious norms, Sufism has sought direct, personal interactions with God through mystical and spiritual approaches rather than those of reason. In early Islamic history, advocates for abstinence searched for definite paths to salvation through prayer, meditation and the restriction of pleasure. Nevertheless, they concluded that abstinence alone could not remain as their sole pursuit in life. Instead, they realized that their restrictive practices had been channels for achieving a deeper purpose of knowing and adoring their God. By continuously cleansing the soul, mysticism and its various brotherhoods developed as a way of building upon this desire to grow closer to God until one attains permanent unity with Him, which is Sufism. Sufism grounded on the works of Rabia of Basra, who emphasized the importance of the love for God, Junaydal-Baghdadi, who set the foundations of the Sufi order, Bayazid al-Bistami, who became known as the ecstatic Sufi through his controversial claims, and al-Ghazali, who synthesized Sufi ideology with traditional Islamic theology played a pivotal role in expanding Islam across the globe with its appeals of tolerance and spirituality. One must recognize and acknowledge the perception of Sufism as the spiritual healer and oasis for Muslims, as well as for Westerners who have been dissatisfied with the formalized and secularized religions of contemporary European societies. Hence, contrary to the expectations of modern paradigms, methods for sharing the Gospel to Muslims and nonbelievers must be responsive to an age of prevailing interests in the supernatural and spiritual worlds.

협동조합의 거버넌스 실천: 전주아이쿱소비자생활협동조합 사례연구

협동조합의 거버넌스 실천이란 사회적 가치와 경제적 가치의 추구라는 이중 목적을 달성하기 위해 다양한 이해관계자들이 합의를 이루어가는 과정이다. 또한 참여와 소통을 전제로 하여 구성원들의 자발적이고 적극적인 상호작용을 기반으로 한 커뮤니케이션 과정이기도 하다. 협동조합 이사회는 거버넌스의 핵심 기관으로 조합원의 이해와 요구를 반영한 사업을 효율적으로 지속하고 조합원의 능동적 참여를 이끌어 내야하는 과제를 가지고 있다. 이를 위해 협동조합 이사회는 활발한 커뮤니케이션을 통해 환경 변화에 반응하며 새로운 의미를 형성하는 생성거버넌스(generative gover-nance)를 만들어 간다. Weick(1995)의 커뮤니케이션을 기반으로 하는 의미생성(sensemaking) 이론은 협동조합의 생성거버넌스를 살펴보는데 유용하다. 의미생성이란 상황과 이슈에 대해 조직내 공통된 의미를 창출하는 것을 말하는데, 이를 통해 조직 구성원들은 변화된 상황에 대응하며 조직이 추구하고 있는 목적을 향해 나아간다. 협동조합의 거버넌스 실천을 살펴보고자 전라북도 전주의 전주아이쿱소비자생활협동조합 이사회가 위기 상황을 새로운 기회로 변화시킨 사례를 탐색적으로 연구하였다. 이 연구를 통해 협동조합은 활발한 커뮤니케이션을 통해 생성거버넌스를 만들어 가고 있으며 이러한 과정이 의미생성이라는 것을 확인하였다. The aim of the paper is to investigate “cooperative governance practice,” a concept that is either not practically or theoretically developed. Cooperative governance practice is the process of consensus among various stakeholders to achieve the dual purposes of cooperatives, i.e, economic and social value creation. Weick`s (1995) sensemaking theory provides a valuable perspective for cooperative generative governance. Sensemaking is the ability to create shared meanings of given situations and issues within an organization. It compels members to adapt themselves to everchanging environments and to achieve their organization`s own goals. The present research is an exploratory case study of the Jeonju iCOOP Consumer Cooperative, which investigates cooperative governance practice, particularly BOD`s attempt to turn a crisis into an opportunity. The study concludes that cooperatives practice generative governance, which is the process of sensemaking with active communication.
