자연재해로 인해 국민의 생명과 재산상의 손실을 야기하는 재난이 발생하면 국내 지자체별로 재난 수습에 있어 능력한계가 발생할 경우 정부에서는 재난의 선포 및 특별재난지역의 선포를 통하여 지원을 하고 있다. 그러나 현행 특별재난선포기준에 따른 선포방법은 특별재난지역의 재난강도, 사회적 물리적 체감피해는 동일함에도 불구하고 선포에서 제외됨에 따라 심리적 소외감이 팽배한다. 따라서 본 연구는 현행 특별재난선포기준에 따른 특별재난선포 방법 외에 실제 피해지역의 기후극값 분석을 통하여 지역별로 재난강도를 고려한 정량적인 산정기준 방안에 대한 연구를 하였다. 기후극값 적용결과 1시간 강우량이 기후극 값보다 크지만 특별재난지역으로 선포되지 않은 지역이 27%, 1시간 강우량이 기후극값보다 작지만 특별재난지역으로 선포된 지역도 27%로 나타냈다. 이는 전체의 50%이상의 지역에서 기후극값 적용 시 오류가 발생함을 반증한다. Due to natural disasters, the central government generally extends support for the local authorities faced with disaster recovery and the loss of public and private damages. Also, the current methodology for designation of an area as a special disaster zone has limitations in the distinguishing a regions from one another according to disaster intensity factors and physical damages in the zones. This study addresses the damage estimation in a region by using the annual extreme values of daily precipitation while incorporating current techniques for the damage estimation. Consequently, this research indicated that regardless of the extreme value for the precipitation record per hour, some regions were declared as the national disaster zone, but the other areas were not designated. Additionally, it showed that the over 50% of the total zones had significant damage estimation errors when the extreme value analysis methodology is applied. Further study for the reliable damage estimation is also necessary.
비행단계 식별 알고리즘을 이용한 초고속 표적의 탄착점 예측

It is required to have the capability to predict the impact point of the ballistic target in order to assign the firing unit with high engagement possibility for the interception in the ballistic target defense systems. In this paper, a novel method is proposed to predict the impact point of the ballistic target using a flight phase discrimination algorithm given the insufficient measurements on the partial trajectory. The flight of a ballistic target is composed of a boost phase and a ballistic phase with different dynamics. The flight phase is discriminated by using the normalized innovation distance between measurements and a priori estimated measurements. The threshold and tolerance in the flight phase discrimination are determined from the probabilistic characteristics of the estimation error. Monte Carlo simulations are performed to verify the proposed method.

Cephalometric analysis is an essential step in evaluating facial structure relationships and orthognathic surgical planning. In general, anatomical landmark localization within cephalometric analysis has been a time-consuming task that requires surgeons expert knowledge. With advancements in computer vision, research has conducted towards automatic anatomical landmark localization. This study aims to compare the performance of 3D convolutional neural network (CNN) for cephalometric landmark localization. We compare five previously proposed CNN models in terms of their ability to perform cephalometric landmark regression. An open-dataset was used to construct the learning dataset for model training and evaluation. Performance metrics were calculated to assess the accuracy of each model. We expect that this comparative analysis of 3D CNN for cephalometric landmark localization has the potential to facilitate automatic cephalometric analysis.

The innovative program to design new structures of multi-speed automatic transmission is proposed with the optimized logics in each process from generating fixed member to implement single transition in shift table. The program solved astronomical number of combinations of planetary gears and clutch members by calculating the performance such like gear efficiency, speed, torque and etc. As a result of the application of the program, this paper shows new multi speed automatic transmission and possibility for the new concept of transmission.
클러치 내부 오일 유동해석 기법을 통한 오일 공급홀 최적화

The flow rate and the behavior of the automatic transmission fluid (ATF) from a input shaft to the clutch plates have been simulated as a three-dimensional and transient-state using the free surface method of commercial CFD code STAR-CD. During disengagement of the wet clutch plates, amount of heat energy dissipated by the lubricating oil that flow the nominalgap between the plates which have relative rotating speed. To supply the oil equally into the nominal clearances among the friction plates, a lay out of the lubrication passage hole configuration is very important. Since a hole configuration can be changed by the hole number, shape and the position at the hub, the optimization of the oil hole configuration is necessary. It is difficult to estimate the flow rate of the lubricating oil exactly at each part of the automatic transmission because of its structural complexity under rotating conditions. This paper suggest the oil hole configurations which can distribute the ATF uniformly around the multi-plates with the optimization method. From this result, we can obtain various information about the lubricating state at every part of the plates and can help our judgment of whether lubrication is sufficient
