최근 국내 VE에 관한 이슈가 대두되고 있으며, 이에 따른 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 하지만 기능분석 및 VE분석절차에 관한 연구에 머물러 있을 뿐이고, 합리적인 제안 채택을 위한 연구는 미흡한 실정이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 특히 발주자의 입장에서 실행단계 업무처리와 VE활성화에 일조할 수 있도록, VE프로세스에서 제안채택 여부를 결정하는 최종단계의 평가 절차와 기준에 관한 체계적인 방안을 제인하고자 한다. 우선, 국내외 문헌고찰 및 설문조사를 통하여 문제점을 파악하고 개선방향을 도출한다. 이어서 제안채택 여부 결정을 위한 세부절차를 설정하고 표준평가쉬트를 제안하였다. 마지막으로, 본 논문은 프로젝트의 성격에 따라 발주자 측에서 적절히 조정하여 적용한다면 VE관리업무에 효율적으로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다. The role and importance of VE have been enlarged since VE application was mandatory by law in public sector in March, 2000. Public organizations have widened the technological horizon through VE competitions and applied VE technique to private investment projects. Many studies have been carried out on function analysis and VE procedure. In practice it is common that clients make a decision one-sidedly on whether or not VE proposals are selected. The VE procedure itself is not smooth. This study gives some suggestions on VE appraisal procedure and criteria at the last phase on VE process in order to smooth the progress of VE. The results of this study can be used as a tool to improve efficiency in the management of VE.
가열 수직 평판과 마주보는 전자모듈의 복사 및 대류 냉각에 대한 실험적 고찰

The characteristics of natural convection heat transfer combined with radiation in a vertical parallel plates has been investigated experimentally. The vertical channel is consisted with a heated wall and three protruding heating sources attached on the opposite wall. The cooling of modules has been experimented with heating the wall as well as modules themselves at different aspects ratios and heating fluxes. As the location of module is higher, the temperature becomes higher, but the increasement is smaller. When the aspect ratio is lower than 26, its effect on the temperature is not significant rather than that of the radiation heat transfer. Furthermore, the correlation of Nusselt number with the Rayleigh number are attempted, but additional treatment is needed to accomodate the cases of heating module and/or opposite wall.
MBR 반응조에서 아질산염 축적에 미치는 암모니아와 용존산소 농도의 영향 연구

암모니아의 질산염으로의 산화는 2개의 산화과정으로 구분된다. 나이트로좀머나스(Nitrosomonas)에 의한 암모니아의 아질산염으로의 산화와 나이트로박터(Nitrobacter)에 의한 아질산염의 질산염으로의 산화이다. 아질산염 축적 과정을 거치는 질소의 제거는 포기를 위한 에너지의 절약, 탈질과정에서 투입되는 유기물의 절약 및 발생되는 슬러지의 양을 감소시킬 수 있는 다양한 장점들을 가지고 있다. 본 연구에서는 아질산염 축적의 조건들을 찾기 위해 막분리 장치를 장착한 생물분리막 반응조(MBR)가 사용되었다. 생물분리막 반응조는 성장속도가 늦어 쉽게 유실되어질 수 있는 독립영양 질산화 박테리아를 반응조내 충분히 유지시키는데 중요한 역할을 한다. 반응조내 용존산소와 암모니아의 농도를 변화시키며 아질산염 축적의 영향인자들을 조사하였다. 연구의 결과로 반응조내 높은 암모니아 농도는 아질산염 축적을 시작하는데 매우 효과적이었으며, 이러한 효과는 반응조내 낮은 용존산소 농도가 동시에 존재할 시 더욱 강화되었다. 낮은 용존산소 농도 c`O₂ < 0.3 mgL-1 O₂와 높은 암모니아 농도 cNH₃ = 6.3∼14.9 mgL-1 NH₃-N에서 아질산염 축적율 74%에 달성될 수 있었다. 특히 아질산염 축적이 많은 연구자들이 제시하는 것처럼 생물막 반응조에서 뿐만 아니라, MBR 반응 조에서도 일어날 수 있음을 밝힌 것은 본 연구의 중요한 성과라 할 것이다. The complete oxidation of ammonia to nitrate is a distinctive two-step process divided into the oxidation of ammonia to nitrite(nitritation) by Nitrosomonas and the oxidation of nitrite to nitrate(nitratation) by Nitrobacter. The nitrogen removal via nitrite accumulation offers several advantages such as saving costs for aeration, saving carbon source and finally reduction of sludge discharge. In this work a suspended bioreactor coupled with membrane filtration(MBR) was used to find the process conditions of nitrite build-up. The MBR enables to reach sufficient nitrifying bacteria in the bioreactor, although the autotrophic bacteria can be easily washed out due to their lower growth rate. The dissolved oxygen concentration c`O₂ and ammonia concentration cNH₃ in the reactor were varied and investigated as parameters for nitrite accumulation. As a result the higher ammonia concentration in the reactor is very effective for starting nitrite build-up and the effect was strengthened in combination with lower dissolved oxygen concentration. With lower c`O₂ < 0.3 mgL-1 O₂ and high cNH₃ = 6.3∼14.9 mgL-1 NH₃-N the 74% of the nitrite accumulation was achieved. Specially, it was found that the nitrite accumulation could occur not only in biofilm reactor as many references showed but also in the membrane bioreactor carried out in this study.
제한벽이 있는 공기제트에 의한 돌출 발열체의 냉각 특성에 대한 수치 해석 연구

The air flow and heat transfer characteristics of an air jet impinging on a pedestal heat source has been investigated numerically to examine the effects of geometric parameters such as nozzle-to-pedestal spacing, nozzle diameter and pedestal size. Also, the parameters of Reynolds number, air jet power, supplied heat and thermal conductivity of pedestal have been studied to reveal how these affect the average Nusselt number. Hence, a two-dimensional turbulent model has been developed and adopted to simulate the fluid flow and heat transfer phenomena numerically. The results obtained from the model show that the nozzle-to-pedestal spacing, relative size of nozzle to pedestal and Reynolds number of air jet have a significant influence on the cooling characteristics of heated pedestal. Furthermore, some useful guidelines could be given to the application of cooling the heated pedestal.
디젤연소용기에 직접분사된 천연가스와 파일럿오일의 복합연소 모델링

Dual-fuel engines are being researched with emphasis on the possible types of natural gas supply systems. Hence, a three-dimensional combustion model by using finite volume method was developed to provide a fundamental understanding of the auto-ignition of pilot distillate and subsequent burning of natural gas, when the natural gas as well as the distillate was directly injected into a quiescent diesel engine like combustion bomb. The computer model was calibrated by comparing with the experinEntal results and the numerical results sere investtigated for the mixed combustion phenomena.<br/> With high-pressure natural gas injection, it was found that the gaseous fuel injection characteristics had to be well harmonized with that of the pilot distillate. For better combustion efficiency, however, further researches are required for the optimisation of injection system in the existance of air motion.<br/>
밀폐공간에 놓인 전자 칩의 열발산에 복사 열전달이 미치는 영향

Electronic components in an enclosure have been investigated to prevent undesired thermal problems. The electronic devices, such as ECUs of automotive engines, are operated under the contaminated environments, so that they rely on the passive cooling without any fluid-driving methods. Therefore the radiation heat dissipation plays more important role than the conduction and convection heat transfer. Hence their combined heat dissipation phenomena have been simulated by a numerical model to reveal the effects of supplied heat flux, emissivity of material, geometry of enclosure, charging gas and pressure. The result showed that the radiation had a significant effect on the heat dissipation of module in an enclosure, and some space above the module should be reserved to prevent its thermal problem. In addition, the higher thermal conductivity and pressure of gas in an enclosure could be necessary to improve the thermal dissipation from the electronic devices.
