As the quality of life increases, most people are much interested in their health. The latest knowledge and concepts are newly employed and consistently extended in the field of medical facilities as well. The purpose of this study is to investigate space-structural features of dental clinics, to analyze space components in two aspects, the function and the moving path, to provide with base materials for interior design research, and, as a result, to contribute to the improvement of dental clinics. The visitor survey method was implemented in five dental offices having opened since 2000. The survey results show that each area is distributed as follows; the consultation room is the largest, the waiting space is secondly largest, and the facility area of medical assistance and administration is the smallest. The consultation space can be designed as semi-opened or opened. Considering moving paths, each should not be too long for the communication between doctors and patients, and for the effective medical examination and treatment. The survey indicates medical assistants have the longest moving path because they fully utilize every space. Based on the survey results described above, more systematic in-depth studies should be performed in the future.
소총의 견착 충격력 측정을 위한 Force Transducer 선정과 안전기준 적합성 평가

소구경화기 사격 시에는 사수 및 화기에 흡수되는 사격 반대방향의 반발력이 발생한다. 과도한 반발력은 사수의 부상뿐만 아니라, 전투 능력을 감소시킬 수 있다. 따라서 이러한 물리적인 양 중 견착 충격력 측정 실험이 필요하며, 2종의 힘 변환기를 이용한 측정에 알맞는 힘 변환기를 선정하였다. 센서 A의 결과는 18.9kN이며, 센서 B의 결과는 5.5kN이다. 이러한 차이가 나는 이유는 센서 A는 ICP가 내장된 voltage 타입으로 센서 자체의 진동과 DC 성분의 노이즈로 인한 것으로 판단된다. 센서 B의 값이 이전 측정된 것과 유사하여, 품질 수준을 확인하기 위해서는 이 센서를 선택하는 것이 타당하다. 두 번째로는 적정 사격발수 선정 통한 안전기준 적합성을 확인하였다. 사격 시 발생하는 순수한 에너지 즉, 충격량과 주퇴에너지를 측정하였다. 충격량은 미 육군 TOP에 따른 진자 시험기에 따라 측정하였고, 그 결과에 따라 주퇴에너지를 계산하였다. 계산된 주퇴에너지는 28.41J이었으며, TOP의 안정성 평가 기준에 따라 사수의 하루사격 발수는 200발 이내로 제한 됨을 확인하였다. 하지만 절대적인 기준은 아니며, 추후 화기 설계 시 참고자료로 이용되기를 기대한다. Firing small arms produces a rearward force that must be absorbed by the shooter or the weapon. Excessive recoil can injure the shooter, degrading combat abilities. In order to select an appropriate sensor for firing tests, we need to measure physical quantities like impulse force in the shoulder and impulses according to TOP by using two different sensors. The result from sensor A is 18.9kN, and from sensor B, 5.5kN. The reasons for the difference are that sensor A (a voltage type with an embedded ICP) is believed to vibrate, and there is noise from the DC component. Since the result of sensor B is similar to previous measurements, it seems reasonable to select that sensor to check quality levels. In addition, pure energy such as impulse and recoil energy generated when firing is measured for safety evaluation. The impulse is measured using the pendulum test suggested by TOP and, based on the result, recoil energy is obtained. The recoil energy is 28.41J, according to the safety evaluation in TOP, so the shooter is limited to firing no more than 200 rounds per day. But this standard is not an absolute value, and is used as a reference for designing small arms or shock-reduction devices.
불평형 부하와 Power Factor를 고려한 Active Power Filter의 제어 시스템

This paper presents the performance of a shunt active power filter system in unbalanced load. The unbalanced load leads to negative sequence of current, and this makes it difficult to control the power factor and to determine the rated power. The separation of the negative sequence is performed and the problems are very simply solved.
치과의원의 실내 공간에 나타난 아이덴티티 요소에 관한 연구

As life quality have grown today, people have been greatly interested in health. Moreover, new knowledge and concepts are being applied in the medical facility field and that makes field expand constantly. Hereby, this research is a study on design elements of dental clinics and the research goals are to understand interior design of current dental clinics by investigation and analysis on furniture, closing materials, colors and so on, and to investigate esthetic and functional environments for dental clinics through analyzing upcoming trends of inner spaces of dental clinics. The investigation was conducted by visits to four clinics per each research area, where are in Busan area and opened after year 2000 and are located in Seoul and Busan. Though the spaces of dental clinics vary according to the characteristics of each clinic, it generally has a consultation room, a waiting room and an X-ray room. The closing materials that make patients feel at ease are used in the waiting room, and ones that make patients feel tidy and fresh are used in consultation spaces, spare spaces, and management spaces. In Seoul area, antique and harmonic colors are used, and modernistic colors are used in Busan area. Reception desks, chair units, sofas and sink storage shelfs are the common furniture in the clinic. We have learned what are mentioned above by research and investigation on the component characteristics of dental clinic spaces. Based on these, more systematical and in-depth research should be continued.
유량-유달부하량 관계식을 이용한 용전천 및 단장천의 수질특성 평가

This study was conducted to identify the runoff characteristics of Yongjeon and Danjang streams, tributaries of Nakdong river basin, through analyzing the flow rate-delivery pollution loading curves and the correlation of water quality factors. The flow rate-delivery pollutant concentration curve analysis exhibited that the water concentration of pollutants increased as the flow rate increased, but it was difficult to derive a correlation formula that could accurately predict changes in water concentration. In the flow rate-delivery pollution loading equation analysis for Yongjeon stream, the flow coefficient of TOC and T-N items were found to have 1.396 and 1.304, respectively, and the flow coefficient of T-P showed a high correlation of 1.606 and the determination coefficient (R<sup>2</sup>) of the relational expression was mostly 0.93 or higher. In the case of Danjang stream, TOC, T-N, and T-P items showed flow coefficient values of 1.347, 1.232, and 1.301, respectively, and the determination coefficient (R<sup>2</sup>) of the relational expression was higher than 0.95. These results suggest that Yongjeon and Danjang streams are watersheds with runoff characteristics that increase the organic and nutrient loadings as the flow rate increases. In Yongjeon stream, the flow rate (Q) correlated turbidity with high positive (+) and relatively high positive (+) correlation with TOC, T-N and NO<sub>3</sub>-N items (p<0.01). For Danjang stream, the flow rate (Q) revealed a relatively high positive (+) correlation with turbidity, TOC and T-P items (p<0.01), and negative (-) correlation with EC (p<0.01).
가정용 연료전지 시스템의 계통접속을 위한 Power Conditioner 개발

연료전지와 같은 분산전원은 전력계통과 연계 운전함으로 보다 안정된 전원을 얻을 수 있고 그 잉여 전력을 계통에 역송전함으로써 다양한 에너지원의 효율적인 활용도 가능케 하는 이점을 지닌다. 본 논문은 본소에서 개발한 PEMFC형 연료전지 시스템을 위한 1KW급 계통 연계형 인버터를 소개하고, 이의 구성 및 특성을 소개하고자 한다.
