General components and detergency of commercial shampoos have been investigated and the results are summerized in the following. Shampoos were analyzed for surfactants and additives by KS method and surfactants were confirmed by T.L.C. Considerable differences in amounts of non volatiles and surfactants were found. Three of them contain either lanoline or sterols as additives and in the three, propylene glycol was found in their liquid part. It was shown that predominant sufactant was anionic and in all, except one, a little ampholytic surfactant was detected. But, contrary to forecast, in only one a little of nonionic surfactant was detected. Detergency of shampoos was examined using artificially soiled wool muslin. Considerable difference was found, and all shampoos showed higher detergency than a synthetic powder type detergent for textiles. There were no significant correlation between detergency and amount of surfactants or suspending power of detergents.
轉流 및 Snubber 에너지 손실을 저감시킨 전류형 GTO 인버터에 의한 유도전동기의 고효율 운전

본 논문에서는 전류시 유도전동기의 누설 인덕턴스 및 직류 링크 인덕터에서 발생하는 손실과 스너버 회로에서 발생하는 손실을 효과적으로 전원 및 부하로 회생하는 새로운 VCC-3를 제안하였으며, VCC-1, VCC-2 및 VCC-3를 3상 유도전동기에 적용하여 부하의 입·출력 특성과 궤환량 등을 측정, 비교·검토한 결과, VCC-3 방식의 GTO CSI가 효율개선 및 안전성 면에서 우수하다는 것을 입증하였다. In this paper, in order to develop the three phase GTO CSI of high efficiency 1M drive with low loss commutation and snubber energy, we studied the energy recovery circuit to recover stored energy in clamping capacitor and DC link inductor(VCC-l and VCC-2), and snubber capacitor(VCC-3). By using an induction motor as the load of inverter, experimental results show that dissipated DC power is decreased and capacitor voltage Vc is effectively suppressed by VCC-2 and VCC-3 system, and the validity of VCC-3 system with low loss commutation and snubber energy is proofed.roofed.

The kinds of volatiles in tomato fruits during storage were increased with the period of climacteric rise The increasing and decreasing rate of their contents were slower under subatmospheric pressure-low temperature (SAP-L) than under normal atmospheric pressurenormal temperature (NAP-N). High contents of 2-hexanone, n-pentanol, and ethanol were decreased at the earl- period of storage and then increased. The content of n-octanol and furfural were increased, while that of n-butanol, cyclohexanone, and phenylacetaldehyde was decreased during storage. On the other hand, the content of trans, trans-2, 4-decadienol, benzyl alcohol, and 2-heptanone was not changed during storage.

Study on the Journalism of Jang Deuk-Jun in Korea, Japan, and China during the Period of Japanese Imperialism Choi, Sang-Won․Han, Hye-Kyoung Jang Deuk-Jun played the leading role in opening Dong-A Ilbo in 1920 and was the first editorial and research·communications director of Dong-A Ilbo. He reported from 1920 August 2nd to August 18th in China Beijing as the first overseas correspondent in Korean media and left to Manchuria to report the massacre of Koreans by the Japanese army as the first war correspondent in Korean media on the October 15th the same year. However,he disappeared on November 6th and was reported dead to become the first reporter to be dead in the line of duty. Looking into the articles of Jang Deuk-Jun, he supported the phased independence theory that autonomy should be conducted before independence and independence directive movements such as 3·1 movements should be prepared and is proposing typical logic of right-wing nationalism. This is analyzed that deeply takes the political trend of bringing social development by improvement methods in Japanese studying abroad course. Reason of disappearance and death of Jang Deuk-Jun is still unclear. However, the fact that he was kidnapped and killed by Japanese military is actually confirmed and Dong-A Ilbo reported the content repeatedly for emphasize that Dong-A Ilbo has a strong national orientation

Phenolic compounds in safflower seeds were recently found to stimulate bone formation and increase plasma HDL cholesterol levels in estrogen deficient rats, and to inhibit melanin synthesis. Nine phenolic compounds: N-feruloylserotonin-5-O-β-D-glucoside, 8'-hydroxyarctigenin-4'-O-β-D-glucoside, luteolin-7-O-β-D-glucoside, N-(p- coumaroyl)serotonin, N-feruloylserotonin, 8'-hydroxy arctigenin (HAG), luteolin (LT), acacetin-7-O-β-D-glucuronide (ATG) and acacetin (AT), were quantified by HPLC in safflower (Carthamus tinctorius L.) seeds during growth and processing. During growth, levels of the nine phenolic compounds in the seeds increased progressively with increasing growth stages, reached a maximum on July 30 (42nd day after flowering), and then remained relatively constant. During the roasting process, levels of phenolic compounds, except HAG, LT and AT, generally decreased with increased roasting temperature and time, whereas those of HAG, LT and AT increased progressively with increased roasting temperature and time. During the steaming process, levels of other phenolic compounds except HAG and AT generally tended to increase with increased steaming time, whereas those of HAG and AT were scarcely changed. During the microwave treatment, quantitative changes of phenolic compounds were similar to the roasting process, although there were some differences in levels of phenolic compounds between two heat treatments. These results suggest that the steamed safflower seeds after harvesting on late July may be useful as potential dietary supplement source of phenolic compounds for prevention of several pathological disorders, such as atherosclerosis and osteoporosis and aging.
