In the Public Notice No. 2019-15 of the Ministry of Employment and Labor, the safety net and regulations on them have been deleted. The performance criterion of the debris net, which also functions as a horizontal safety net in the regulations on the criteria of occupational safety and health, is unclear. When installing a debris net that also functions as a horizontal safety net, a net that meets the performance criteria of KS F 8082 must be installed in accordance with KOSHA C-31-2017. The Korean Standard Specification for Construction Works, which specifies debris net and horizontal safety net, should be revised as soon as possible.

The following conclusions were reached through the research on the development of the required performance extraction tools for the application and utilization of various construction methods of lightweght dry wall. 1) Performance required for walls of apartment buildings can be divided into safety, habitation, durability and productivity. Among these, horizontal load resistance, shock resistance, anti-seismic performance, insulation, and acoustic characteristics are the main performance that correspond to dry walls. In addition, safety related to toxic gases and contaminants are required according to recent eco-friendly requirements. 2) To select a wall according to the required performance of an inner wall applied to an apartment, a map tool in the form of 2D matrices was constructed to enable the required performance to be applied, indicating that the wall location and wall material and its differentiating according to the old method.

This study intends to propose a method to take pictures of concrete surface using a recently popularized digital camera and patternize shade distribution for the deployed histogram through image processing in order to develop a generalized evaluation method evaluate concrete surface work. Through this method, it is determined that it is possible to seek for possibility to utilize it as a comprehensive evaluation criteria for concrete surface finish and suggest a logical approach for concrete quality evaluation. From the results of the study, the following conclusions could be earned : 1) Concrete surface has shown a histogram distribution of a simple structure with easy patternization different from general images. 2) It was possible to earn several patterns through normalization of the histogram on the concrete surface images. I could also see that from results of consistency works on pattern on the actual images, most of images are consistent to the designed patterns. In addition, as individual images showed characterized unique pattern for each type of image, it would be possible to develop a characterized evaluation technique.

This study empirically shows the effect of big data-based realistically predicted building lifespan on LCA through LCA analysis on waterproofing methods of real buildings. The lifespan of 17 real buildings was predicted with a machine learning prediction model, and LCA analysis was performed. As a result of this study, the accuracy of the LCA analysis results revealed a tendency to be irregular as the predicted lifespan percent error increased. Moreover, the percent error of the LCA analysis results of the buildings with a predicted lifespan percent error of 6% or less was 0%. The result of this study shows that the building life span prediction model with a limited prediction percent error according to the research purpose can guarantee accurate LCA results.

In this study, the cross-sectional image has been acquired to evaluate the aggregate distribution affecting quality of lightweight aggregate concrete, and through the binarization method, the study is to calculate the aggregate area of upper and lower sections to develop the method to assess the aggregate distribution of concrete. The acquisition of cross-section image of concrete for the above was available from the cross-sectional photography of cleavage tension of a normal test specimen, and an easily accessible and convenient image analysis software was used for image analysis. As a result, through such image analyses, the proportion of aggregate distribution of upper and lower sections of the test specien could be calculated, and the proportion of aggregate area U/L value of the upper and lower regions of concrete cross-section was calculated, revealing that it could be used as the comprehensive index of aggregate distribution. Moreover, through such method, relatively easy image acquisition methods and analytic methods have been proposed, and this indicated that the development of modeling to assess aggregate distribution quantitatively is available. Based on these methods, it is expected that the extraction of fundamental data to reconsider the connectivity with processes in concrete will be available through quality assessment of quantitative concrete.

For Barrier-Free certification, the floor and ground surfaces must be finished with materials that are not slippery, flat, and have low-impact in fallis. However, the BF Certification Act does not provide specific methods to meet these regulations. In performance-based design, the responsibility of proving the performance rests with the building owner and architect, so quantitative evaluation indexes are needed to select suitable materials. Furthermore, changes in performance after completion should be checked periodically in 'As-Is' conditions. There are various methods for slips, trips and falls risk assessment, causing confusion for users. In this study, the results of previous studies on the evaluation methods of slips, trips and falls were considered closely, and each quantitative evaluation index that can be used in the new construction and maintenance phase was presented.
