This study focused on and analyzed the mentoring program for low income families practiced by Northern Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education, and develop the program to become an opportunity to vitalize the school library. Parents mentoring programs from five Northern Seoul elementary schools were analyzed from many different perspectives for this research. Firstly analyzed current status of mentoring program, interviewed mentor, mentee, and people in charge of these programs, were surveyed, and homeroom teachers, after school curriculum teachers were interviewed. Also the mentoring journals by mentor were analyzed. Based upon this research, school library parent mentoring program expands the role of school library, inviting the students with any possibility of being alienated from the society to the broader world by books. Eventually, this chance is to allow the small communication started out with books bring changes to the society and help to diffuse the social gap conflict in our society.

The objective of this study lies in researching what kind of literature is mainly used by researchers in the related field by analyzing the research pattern of researchers who major in the same field of science. and to propose a list of literature that is indispensable for college libraries to prepare. Based on such analysis results of cited literature. this study is to propose necessary standards for selecting and reading journals in the field of Library and Information Science(LIS) in the libraries of Korean colleges where a LIS department is established.

국내 사립대학도서관 자동화 발전과정에 관한 연구

본 연구의 목적은 국내 사립대학도서관 자동화 발전과정을 다각적인 측면에서 분석하고 체계적으로 기술함으로써 도서관자동화 분야의 역사를 정립하고, 발전과정에서 나타난 문제점을 분석하는 데 있다. 연구방법은 문헌조사와 대학 홈페이지 방문조사, 전화인터뷰를 병용하였다. 대학도서관 발전과정을 선행연구자들의 사례와 대학도서관 자동화 현황 분석을 통하여 핵심이 되는 특징을 도출하여 '도입기', '성장기', '안정기', '도약기'로 구분하였다. 이를 위해 일차적으로 대학도서관 자동화 현황 분석을 문헌조사로 하였으며 자료분석의 표본은 국내 사립대학 109개 도서관을 대상으로 하였다. This study purposed to establish the history of library automation through multilateral analysis and systematic description of the development process of university library automation in Korea and to analyze problems in the development process. In the research, we conducted literature review, investigation of university homepages and telephone interviews. Based on previous researches and the current state of university library automation, the development process of university libraries was divided into 'the stage of introduction,' 'the stage of growth,' 'the stage of stability' and 'the stage of take off.' First, the current state of university library automation was analyzed through literature review, and 109 libraries at private universities in Korea were sampled for data analysis.

제주지역 공공도서관 문화프로그램 실태분석 및 이용자 만족도 연구

공공도서관의 문화적인 기능의 확대는 소득수준의 향상과 여가시간의 증가로 인해 문화적인 욕구를 해소하고 문화 복지에 대한 지역주민들의 다양한 요구를 해결하는데 필수적인 사항이다. 본 연구에서는 제주지역 공공도서관에서 운영되는 문화프로그램에 대한 실태조사와 공공도서관 문화프로그램의 이용자 만족도 조사 및 문화프로그램 담당자 설문조사를 통하여 문화프로그램 운영상의 문제점을 도출하여 제주지역 공공도서관 문화프로그램의 지역적 특성화와 개선사항을 제시하고자 하였다. To expand the cultural function of public libraries is a requisite for satisfying cultural needs and meet residents' diverse requirements of cultural welfare due to the improved level of income and the increased amount of leisure time. The purpose of this study is to conduct researches on the actual state of cultural programs operated by public libraries in Jeju Island and on cultural program users' satisfaction at public libraries, along with a survey with those in charge of the cultural programs to find out problems with operation of the programs and suggest localization and improvement of the cultural programs at public libraries in Jeju Island.

산업체 부설연구소의 정보기능에 관한 연구

This dissertation is presented in two major parts. The first part presented in Chapter 3 attempts to verify the major hypothesis of the present study that the research and development laboratories(hereafter referred to R&D laboratories), establishd withine industrial firms to develop new technologies needed for their own industrial activities, may have another but very important functions to bring information on the externally generated technologies to attention of their respective management decision makers, eventually resulting in the transfer of technology; and such information functions of the R&D laboratories may be better performed by well-organised laboratories than by poorly-organised ones. The second part presented in Chapters 4, 5, 6 and 7 discusses, after the preceding hypotheses has been verified, some desirable situations of the R&D laboratories in facilitating the flow of information on new technologies developed in the world into their industrial firms, centering on the organisational positions and the major fields of interest of the person in charge of the R&D centers, services of the library and technological information office supporting the R&D laboratories, and frequencies of direct contacts of research and development workers with experts in the world and of participation in various conferences, seminars, workshops, exhibitions, etc. Now that there is no recognised instrument and method available for direct measurement of volume of technological information transfered into a particular industrial firm, the number of technologies introduced into a given firm is employed in the present study as an analogous parametre indicating volume of technological information transfered into the firm during a particular period of time. A logical attempt to justify the use of the indirect paramentre is made in Chapter two. vidences needed to verify the hypotheses of the present study are collected through the various publications of the Korea Industrial Research Institutes and other agencies and institutions related to industrial research activities, and through responses to the questionnaire posted to a sample of the 66 R&D laboratories on 6 May 1987 and returned by 30 August of the same year. Some findings and conclusions made in the study are summarised as follows: (1) More information on externally developed technologies flows into the industrial firm with a R&D laboratory of its own than into the industrial firm without one, and naturally, more chances of transfer of technologies are given to the former than to the latter (see 3. 2) (2) After establishing an R&D laboratory, more technological information flows into the industrial firm than before establishing one (see 3. 3) (3) More technological information flows into the industrial firm with a well-organised R&D laboraory than into the firm with a poorly-organised one (see 3. 4) (4) More technological information flows into the ndustrial firm where the director of its R&D laboratory has status qualified to participate in the highest managerial decision making processes of the firm than into the industrial firm where the director does not have such status (see 4. 2) (5) More technological information flows into the industrial firm where the director of R&D laboratory does not hold other positions within the firm than into the industrial firm where the director holds other positions (see 4.3) (6) There is evidence showing that quantities of technological information transfered into industriali firms vary with the case that the major background of the director of the R&D laboratory is the same as the main field of R&D activities of his or her laboratery, the case that the director's background is partly related to the field of R&D activities of the laboratory, and the case that the director's major background is different from the field of R&D activities of the laboratory (see 4.4) (7) More technological information flows into the industrial firm with the director of

전문대학 도서관 취업관련자료의 효율적 활용방안 연구

본 연구는 전문대학의 직업교육 분야와 밀접하게 연관된 취업관련자료를 효율적으로 관리하고 활용하기 위한 방안을 제시하고자 하였다. 문헌조사, 전화인터뷰 조사, 설문지 조사를 통해 자료 수집을 하였으며 이를 분석한 결과를 토대로 취업관련자료의 효율적인 활용방안을 도출하였다. 자료의 효과적인 관리 및 자료구입예산의 효율화를 위해 도서관이 주도적으로 취업관련자료 업무를 담당하되, 자료의 비치 관리는 학생의 접근성과 이용 편리성, 활용성을 고려해 도서관과 취업부서가 연계하여 공동으로 서비스를 수행하는 것이 가장 바람직하다는 결론을 얻었다. 또한 취업관련자료의 개발을 도모하기 위해 도서관은 전문대학의 교육목적과 특성을 고려한 전공계열별 공통 기초전공자료의 개발, 전공관련 자격증과 연계되는 핵심 취업전공자료 개발, 직업실무중심자료 집중 확보 등의 방안을 강구해야 할 것이다. This study tried to suggest a plan for an efficient management and utilization of job-related collections closely connected to the job education field of colleges. The data were collected through data inquiry, telephone interview inquiry and questionnaire and based on the results of the analysis, an efficient utilization plan of job-related collections was derived. It reached a result that it is desirable that libraries initiatively operate job-related collections but in consideration of the approachability, use convenience and utilization of students, the display and management of materials are performed jointly with libraries and employment departments. In addition, so as to plan the development of the job-related collections, libraries need to develop the common basic major materials by major to consider the characteristics as well as educational purposes of colleges and develop the core employment major data connected to major related certificates and intensively secure job practice focused materials.

대학도서관에서의 CRM을 이용한 MyLibrary서비스개선 연구

본 연구는 대학도서관시스템의 MyLibrary 기능을 CRM개념을 적용하여 이용자들에게 맞춤서비스를 제공 하고자 하였다. 연구방법은 문헌조사, 홈페이지조사를 통하여 1차 자료를 수집하였으며, 국내외 대학도서관의 사례조사를 실시하고, 대학도서관시스템 중 3개의 시스템을 선정하고 해당 대학도서관 사서와 이용자를 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 수집된 자료를 분석한 결과 서비스의 각 기능을 담당하는 사서들이 MyLibrary 기능에서 생성되는 이용자들의 정보데이터를 체계적으로 활용하고 있는 사례가 많지 않다는 것을 파악하였다. 개선방안으로는 MyLibrary에서 생성되는 데이터를 토대로 이용자들에게 맞춤정보서비스 제공과 질적으로 높은 서비스를 제공하기 위하여 CRM에 대한 인식제고와 feedback 자료로 활용하기 위한 체계적 관리가 필요하다고 제시하였다. This study tried to provide users with customized services by applying the CRM theory of the MyLibrary functions of the academic library system. The first data were collected through documentary survey and homepage survey, and case study of domestic and overseas college libraries was performed and 3 systems among academic library systems were selected to conduct a survey with their librarians and users of the academic libraries. It was found that librarians in charge of each function of services didn't much utilize information data of users created in the MyLibrary functions. As for an improvement method, it was suggested that systematic management to raise recognition on CRM and utilize it as feedback data is required in order to provide high quality services as well as customized information services to users based on data created in MyLibrary.

중앙 행정기관 자료실의 웹기반 정보서비스에 대한 이용자 요구에 관한 연구

The purpose of this study is to propose some strategic directions which can promote the government libraries to provide the most effective and efficient information services. The study analyzes user opinion and demand in terms of the Web-based Information Services. For the analysis, the questionnaires were distributed to the 300 users in 18 government libraries. In the results, the study finds that the government libraries with homepage need to advertise homepage service. to provide the training programs, and to improve the system utility for better valuable homepage services. The government libraries without homepage, first of all, must construct their own homepage reflected in the users demand requiring the powerful retrieval ability, the diversity of contents, the high properness of information services.

중앙행정부처 기록관리요원의 행정박물관리에 대한 인식 분석

본 연구는 우리나라 중앙행정부처의 행정박물의 관리현황 및 인식을 조사 분석함으로써 행정박물관리의 개선방안을 제시하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 중앙행정부처 15개 기관을 대상으로 행정박물관리에 관한 현황조사 및 담당자들의 인식조사를 실시한 결과, 대부분의 중앙행정부처가 행정박물 관리규정을 제정하지 않았으며, 보유현황도 많지 않았다. 또한 행정박물관리가 필요하다는 대부분의 인식과는 달리 실제업무는 제대로 이루어지고 있지 않았다. 행정박물에 대한 조직 구성원들의 인식 제고를 위하여 정기적인 행정박물관련 교육 및 중앙행정부처 컬렉션 개발이 필요하다고 본다. The purpose of this study is to suggest some guidelines for improving the management of administrative artifacts based on the analysis on archivist's perception. The study investigated the current state of record centers and the archivist's perception in 15 ministries of Korean central government, most of the central ministries did not enact the administrative artifacts management rule. Also it isn't done correctly unlike perception of need to manage administrative artifacts. It is necessary to educate about administrative artifacts management regularly and to develop central ministries collection.
