철도물류는 중거리 대량수송에 적합한 특성을 가지고 있으나 낮은 수송속도와 환적비용, 접근성 부족등의 사유로 경영개선이 더디게 이루어지고 있다. 철도물류의 대부분을 차지하고 있는 시멘트, 철강, 유류 등 원자재 운송을 통한 철도물류의 성장은 어려우며 물류서비스 향상을 통한 부가가지 창출노력이 필요하다. 대표적인 사례로 KTX특송 서비스를 도입하여 시장으로부터 좋은 반응을 얻고 있다. 고속화물열차를 통해 철도물류는 새로운 성장동력을 얻을 수 있으며 특히 주간시간에 주요 거점역을 통한 고속, 대량화물 수송 가능성은 고부가가치 물류시장에 새로운 트랜드를 만들 수 있을 것이다. 본 연구에서는 고속화물열차의 개발을 위한 여러 인자들을 살펴보고 사용자입장에서 고속화물열차 실용화를 위한 문제점과 요구사항을 살펴보고자 한다. Railway logistics has properties suitable for medium-range mass transit , but improved management is being carried out late because transshipment cost and low transport rate and the lack of accessibility. Growth of railway logistics through the transport of raw materials is difficult. It is necessary to efforts of the creation of added value through the improvement of logistics services. As a typical case, getting a good response from the market by introducing the KTX logistics service. Logistics of the railway , it is possible to obtain a new growth engine at high speed freight train. High speed through the main base station of the time of the week , the possibility of large amounts of freight transport will be able to create a new trend in the logistics market of high value-added. In this study, we look at some arguments for the development of high-speed freight train , let"s look at the issues and requirements for the practical application of high-speed freight train from a user"s point of view.

지난 2013년 12월 발생한 뉴욕 통근열차 탈선사고와 같은 열차 사상사고 이후에는 항상 자동차나 비행기와 같이 열차내에도 안전벨트를 적용하자는 주장이 나오고 있다. 이에 맞서 열차가 가지는 물리적 특성 때문에 안전벨트는 열차 안전확보에 도움이 되지 않는 다는 의견도 있다. 2002년 미국 FRA는 실제 열차충돌 실험을 통해 안전벨트의 효과를 확인하였으며 2007년 영국 RSSB에서는 실제크기 열차모형과 인체모형을 통해 안전벨트의 효과를 확인하고 중요 사고사례를 분석하였다. 해외 연구사례 분석을 통해 열차 내 안전벨트 적용 효과에 대해 고찰하고자 한다. We discuss the application effect of the seat belt in the car through the analysis of case studies overseas.
